Malphite's Rework, Some Idea to REALY change how he feels

Hello Hella As a half-long-time player, i'v seen some champs, with a gamplay realy 'sturdy' stay as they are for too long And because I like them anyway I just wanted to share some ideas I had while playing them ___ - - #Malphite {{champion:54}} ___ The Rock Titan, liked by the Anti-Ad top, is the champion that reflect the most a 'sturdy' gameplay (no pun intended) and i'd like to share a way to make him a bit more interesting on the visual part, gameplay part, and mostly character part. With a clickshot Q, an AA buff on W and an AOE E (Like {{champion:24}} btw), his kit reflect a feeling of permanant slowness, fitting for the character, ok, but when you consider a game where half of the cast jump around everywhere, it's a bit crippling, and you have nothing to make them go your own way. His popularity is mostly made by his R, and it's terrible to be in that spot, that the reason why {{champion:19}} got his rework ! Let's say Malphite is more a Calm Force and not a Slow Rock, with that in mind, his kit don't fit his character ___ > #GRANITE SHIELD (P) >(This modification is not only for choerence, but also for balance with modifications on his Q) >*Malphite is shielded by a layer of rock which absorbs damage up to 10% of his maximum Health. If Malphite has not been hit for 10/8/6 seconds, this effect recharges.* **When the shield is down, Malphite gain 20% movespeed toward enemy champions for 4 seconds.** >(And so Malphite will have a new phase where he can just go in, when he took damages, presumably after a poke, without the need of his Q.) ___ > #SEISMIC SHARD (Q) >*Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 mana* **Range: from 250 to 575/625/675/725/775 after 2 seconds of charge** **Cooldown : 12/11/10/9/8** >*Using his primal elemental magic* **after a channeling**, *Malphite sends a shard of the earth through the ground at his foe, dealing damage upon impact ~~and stealing Movement Speed for 4 seconds~~* **Stunning for a short period, then slows and knocking nearby targets back** >**Malphite charge a Seismic Shard for 4 seconds max (reaching max range after 1.5 seconds), slowing himself for 20% during the channeling, then throws it**. **The shard** *deals 70/120/170/220/270 (+60% AP) magic damages* **and 40/85/130/175/220 (+50% AP) magic damages in a 30° cone behind the target and knock them back (around 200 or 250 unit), stunning all targets for 0.75 seconds** *~~and steals 14/17/20/23/26% Movement Speed from the target for 4 seconds.~~* **and slows them by 10/13/16/19/22%** *during* **3.25** *seconds.* >(This gives Malphite a better CC, else in start game or late game, and a bit more range on later ranks, giving him also a form of dissengage that he loses with the stolen MS, but as it's still his main poke tool, the mana cost remains the same. The CD is also nerfed on the early stages to balance other changes made to his kit) ___ > #BRUTAL STRIKES (W) >*Cost: 25 mana* **Range: 225** (Effect Radius of empowered attacks) **Cooldown: 14** >*Malphite starts to hit with such force that his attacks deal damage to all units in front of him. Passively increases his Armor* *~~(this amount is tripled while Granite Shield is active).~~* >**Passive: Malphite's armor is increased by 10/15/20/25/30% for each enemy champion in a 1100 unit radius (Max 60%)** >**Active: Malphite regenerates GRANIT SHIELD passive shield, and gain 20/25/30/35/40% tenacity. Lasts 3 seconds. If GRANIT SHIELD is destroyed within 6 seconds after cast, Malphite gains 20/30/40/50/60% bonus attack speed, and basic attacks deal an additional 15/30/45/60/75 (+15% armor) (+10% AP) physical damage to the target and nearby enemies.** >(The aspect of Malphite without his shield, being more made of lava without skin makes him more threatening, when he's realy not, this reworked ability take advantage of the model difference to empower a personality in design into his gameplay, wich is also 'noob-friendly'. He also gain some damages with AS, making him a threat in start game, even more if he decide to max the spell, but he will lose power on his poke. And the most important part, he gains an ability to tank more in team fights, something he lacked a bit having no sustain or any way to recover his shield. The damages gained is taken on the armor scaling of his E) ___ > #GROUND SLAM (E) >*Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana* *Range: 400* *Cooldown: 7* >*Malphite slams the ground, sending out a shockwave that deals magic damage based on his Armor as damage and reduces the Attack Speed of enemies for a short duration.* **If foes were affected by a slow, his duration is increased** >*Malphite slams the ground dealing 60/95/130/165/200* **(+30% armor)** *(+60% AP) magic damage to surrounding enemies, reducing their Attack Speed by 30/35/40/45/50% for 3 seconds.This ability gains damage equal to* **30%** *of Malphite's Armor. * **If foes were affected by a slow, the duration is increased by 35%. of it's remaining duration.** >(A little nerf of the scaling because of his new W, and a new mechanic to once again empower his character of slowing buddy, and creates a new, minor ok, mechanic as Brittle did with every CC. Few changes, but the spell don't need it that much. Were also in mind a Volibear {{champion:106}} treatment with a little CC, but it would be overkill) ___ > #UNSTOPPABLE FORCE (R) >*Cost: 100 pts de mana* *Range: 1000* **Cooldown: 140/125/110** >*Malphite ferociously charges to a location, damaging enemies and knocking them into the air.* >*Malphite charges to target area. Upon his arrival he deals 200/300/400 (+100% Ability Power) magic damage to nearby enemies and knocks them into the air for 1.5 seconds.* **Pulverize GRANIT SHIELD upon activation.** >(A nerf to his CD because of his Q changes, and a way to offensively use his W, this little tweak creates a weakness to his ult where he gained a way to recover his shield, this creates more depth to the character, even tho it's a minor feature with minor impact) ___ #EDITS > - ___ Thanks for reading !
