Getting lvl 6/7 masteries is now impossible

Before the patch, leveling up to 6/7 masteries for a champ required 500 BE (if you don't own the shard/permanent). now it requires 3250/3900. This, in conjunction with the fact that the BE drops decreased A LOT, as any thread right know in the forum explains. what? really? So basically now it's freaking impossible to get lvl 6/7 masteries, as I need BE (which doesn't drop) so hard to get some champs (no riot, i won't buy them with RP, they are fcking expensive).
