Help, I suck

So, I’m level 14 and every game I go into it’s just people saying how much I suck, I know at this level it might be normal but I’m quite a competitive person and usually get good at games quickly. I have no clue what good gameplay looks like and no idea what I should be improving on specifically. Tbh I like the potential this game has for fun and competition but I just can’t seem to understand it, what should I do?
