Gladio is designed to be a melee bruiser, mainly building AD, and a bit attack speed (W)
Centuries ago Gladio was a master swordsman, whose skill was so great, that he eventually became feared and hated by the people of his village.
This fear only got worse as Gladio learned magic which allowed him to summon swords. One day the villagers eventually turned on him and bound his soul to one of the master's beloved swords.
For years the sword was kept safe in a shrine, but now the vengeful spirit of the ancient swordsman has been set free, carrying his former prison as symbol of his oath for revenge.
*Passive - Spectral Blade Cloak*
Gladio does not collide with units. Passing through enemy units deals 30 (+0.2 AD) physical damage to them.
*Q - Circling Sword*
Cooldown: 14 / 12.5 / 11 / 9.5 / 8 seconds
Gladio sends a sword towards an enemy, which then starts circling around him. Upon reactivating the ability, the sword will shoot straight forward (direction depends on which direction the sword was facing). The sword passes through units and deals 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 (+0.5 AD) physical damage while doing so.
*W - Damocles Curse*
Passive: Every fourth basic attack places a heavy blade above the target. After a 2 second delay the sword drops down onto the target dealing 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+0.3 AD) (+0.6 AP) physical damage to all enemies around it.
*E - Spirit Detachment*
Cooldown: 30 / 26.5 / 23 / 19.5 / 16 seconds
Gladio briefly separates his soul from the sword, leaving it behind. For 2.5 seconds he becomes untargetable, but also unable to cast spells or attack and gains 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90% decaying movement speed. The sword can be attacked and has 100 (+100 per champion level) (+0.2 AD) HP. If it is destroyed Gladio gets dragged back a little and slowed by 30% for 1 second afterwards. This ability may be recast to cancel the effect early and call the sword back.
*R - Fallen Down*
Cooldown: 150 / 125 / 100 seconds
Gladio begins channeling to drop a giant blade. The longer he channels the wider the area he can drop the blade in gets (max. 3 seconds). While channeling Gladio can move, but is slowed by 40%. Without channeling this ability, the blade will drop directly on top of Gladio. Enemies in the drop zone take 150 / 200 / 250 (+0.4 AD), increased by up to 60%, based on the target's missing health.
