When will chat service be back up?

I have not been able to connect to chat service for well over a week now, why is that? And when can i expect it to be fixed ? It results in very, very, very poor gameplay, and i've probably been reported lots of times by now, because of it. Please help, before i get banned for "_trollpicking/banning_" i can't communicate in champion select, and that pisses some insanely salty people off, once in a while. Anyone else out there who still has this problem? Is there a kind soul out there with a c02 extinguisher, who can swing by RIOT's headquaters and extinguish the fire in the server room?
