is it possible to randomly become worse in this game?

Last season I got to diamond playing mostly adc or Vi in the jungle. I had decent winrates on my mains, 60+ on some and 68% in 90 Draven games. I clearly remember going 14-1 in my last ranked game in season 7 and I felt like I was playing really well. I took a break for a couple of months and came back around April. I duo'd with someone on a smurf and all seemed pretty normal. My adc felt weaker but maybe that had to do with needing a different play style with the new runes or something. My Vi was still going well. But lately, and I mean the last maybe 4 months I feel like I've become worse and worse. It's gotten to the point where I can almost only play Vi and I just suck on everything else. So much so that I avoided playing rank on my main because I hate getting a lower rank than the year before that. I know that's dumb but that's besides the point. What I want to know is, is it possible to just randomly become worse? Or is there something else going on? What do you think?
