2 week ban... slight overreaction by riot?

So I just got a 2 week suspension, i've had chat restriction before for getting slightly hot headed... this is my first ban and I know im no saint in this game but I dont think riot understands there was a whiney afker troll who left me as janna solo at bot because he "didnt want to be there with me" I said a few bad things that I know I shouldn't have in this game but REALLY? This is a highly competetive game and a couple swearwords is what bans me? This is all they gave as evidence, am I crazy or does this seem over the top? Would a higher chat restriction not benefit me more? Just doesnt seem fair after spending so much time on my account and money that they take it away like that... I know the accounts are theres but its not a very nice business module really...just want to see you guys thoughts on this and if you would ban me just for this one frustrating match or chat restrict me?
