Props to you for not deleting your post though. Owning up to your mistakes and learning from them is what will shape you into a fine adult with time imo. Also, we all %%%% up. All the time. The fact that you took criticism and accepted it as soon as you saw you were in the wrong already speaks volumes of your worth as a human being, which sadly cannot be said of most people in our generation.
Of course. If I lash out at the criticism I wanted, I'll look like a dumb ass who only acknowledges their own opinion. I learned a lot from Anime as well as criticism. : I honestly fail to see the logic to your argument. Sure, the term 'noob' has changed its meaning depending on the domain/field of specialization where it's being used, but it's not like you only have to rely on the dictionary to get the meanings of words. Language - and words - evolve through time, and you can't pretend that people don't know what 'noob' really means because they understand the concept as something different from what it originally was. 'Noob' has now a particular meaning in the video gaming world; why can't you just accept that it does have that meaning with all the tens (probably hundreds) of millions of people using it this way nowadays, in this particular domain? Polysemy is very common in any language because of specialized jargons that take 'old' words and give them new meanings or that come up with new ones, you don't need to know every single one of those meanings and their origin to use a term efficiently. So basically, people can call you whatever they feel like without needing a PhD in etymology. You're wrong. > [{quoted}](name=BrokenHeadset II,realm=EUNE,application-id=2BfrHbKG,discussion-id=zizXkju0,comment-id=,timestamp=2017-12-18T08:17:24.096+0000) >I still have yet to see when the word noob became apart of the dictionary or even if it has yet to be added there. > Wutface > [{quoted}](name=BrokenHeadset II,realm=EUNE,application-id=2BfrHbKG,discussion-id=zizXkju0,comment-id=,timestamp=2017-12-18T08:17:24.096+0000) >apart of the dictionary > Pls. If you're going to argue about people supposedly not using words properly, pick the right ones yourself.
I was stupid and didn't google it first as I should've. My original argument to subject was "People need to know the origin of it" but seeing as this argument has no point anymore as I am the hypocryte here. I am glad that others corrected me. But no matter what I say now, it'll only sound like an excuse, but I will say this; I was no better than any other salty player and simply rushed into things without proper knowledge. I feel ashamed of myself and apologise for the dumb ass arguments that made no sense and had incorrect information about the subject.

: Do you think the league community cares about the origins of words when they use brand names as memes? :P
As it turns out, I was the one who was misinterperating the meaning behind it. I do acknowledge my mistake in not googling it first. I didny really know where to look, even though it might sound like an excuse. I was foolish and only now realised that I could've opend another browser.

: I guess you know the situation then. You get a bad adc and he flame you into next week for mistakes that are without any discussion his mistakes. That is what made me quit rank. But I must adjust to playing with everybody muted in chat. I dont like it, but I think its the best.
pretty much. However, most of the time i play with friends and people whom i trust so i wont tilt because i know that they know what they are doing and possibly even turn the game around I dont get bad ADC's that often anymore and i hope i never will. i haven't had an ADC who flamed me to next week ever. Just mild tilt and flame every here and there. and you dont have to "mute all" at the start. If someone starts showing bad behavior, you can just mute them that time so that only those who are smart can reach you. those who tilt dont have the right to tilt you. Unless you're the type to easily get tilted, then i am afraid it'll be a tougher path for you until you master your tilt. I pray for your survival.

If you cant provide us with the FULL SENTENCE, we cant be sure whether it is wrong or right. You're only mentioning one part of the sentence, which leads me to speculate that you did not read the sentence fully, and just decided that it is spelt wrong. Unless you provide us with the full sentence, we can never figure out whether it is spelt wrong or right.

Herrou! i dont really know what it means to tilt alot. I always look toward another direction. The game isnt done until the nexus is destroyed, and if someone tilts, mute em and report them after the game is done. One way to prevent tilt is find yourself some team mates, they can be anyone. Aswell as RELAX Relaxing is the most important thing in league. Relax and analyze the situation and make a decision and act on that decision. Make sure you're not like running around like a monkey and actually thinking on how to act in every situation. Take a look at junglers. They constantly need to analyze the situation, remain calm, and think of the pros and cons. "To gank, or not to gank?" "To farm, or not to farm?" Most of the time they remain calm and composed as they should, but there are those who tilt and leave the game. It must be hard for them to relax with people who flame them all the time and ping them every 0.5 seconds for a gank. My solution to this is i think of the positives, remain calm, and try to think of a way how to turn things around. Even though i am a support main and i shouldn't tilt, i do sometimes tilt, but i keep it all inside and let it out as slightly aggressive remarks and advice on how to actually perform better ingame. it took me about a few months to a year to be able to play normals decently, and now i am a pretty good support. It takes time to get good at league. So just be patient. You can also take a look at your own playing, seek out the mistakes, and ask in the "Champions & Gameplay" for advice on how to avoid making the same mistake twice. Summoners are willing to help you there.

: Ok, I wont argue with you. But In your post you asked for others ranked players opinions about your performance. I played a ton of ranked and currently D3. I was trying to give you some advice since we main the same champion hoping you can get faster improvement. But if you are going to be defensive about your playstyle and build. Then do as you want. You don't have to listen cuz apparently you are really good with the game already. :)
if i offended you, feel free to point it out instead of getting aggressive. {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}
: Dude, I main Soraka too. .-. When playing Soraka, Scorch is way better than Gathering Storm. Because your harass in lane is more significant early. Late game, you will mainly be standing back and heal rather than doing any more damage. Thus, the AP is much less significant use. If you play a defensive game, waterwalking is good when you want to ward away from lane. Second wind is more for tanks. If you land your Q, you will get health back. Revitalize is pretty much the old Windspeaker. Which is important on healing and shielding supports. It should be a clear choice to pick it in the Resolve tree. There is no reason to ever get RoA on Soraka, or Luden... I doubt I need to explain why... You have way better items to pick from, such as Locket and Redemption.
BOI Some AP is significant as Soraka because of her Q, if you dont know that much, well then buddy i got news for ya. I dont really care wether Second Wind is for tanks or not, it works well enough for Soraka as she needs that sustain in order to sustain her ADC by using the health she GAINS from second wind AS the sustain. there is reason to get RoA as Soraka if you need it. The more HP Soraka has, the more she'll be able to heal you, the more AP she has, the more health regen she gets from her Q and the more extra health regen she can grant to her ADC when healing. dont diss The {{item:3029}} {{champion:16}} ! but i can see your point. Everyone does have preferred playstyles and items. My point is that RoA is a nice item on Soraka when you need both some extra AP and Health.
: Hello I'm Platinum :P Lol sumo only measures your performance in the current individual match. Only singlehandingly Performance with the champ does not mean you are a Plat support. But if you keep your performance consistent over a course of alot of games, and if you earn Plat rank, then you can say you are a Plat whatever role. You're not above Silver level if you don't compete in Ranked and beat anyone that's comming your way and climb the ladder. You can be a young challenger and be talented and above your skill level, but you still need climbing and game experience to actually make it any far. There's a huge difference and ways ahead between young Challenger and actually Challenger.
i can see what you mean by that, and thank you for clearing what it means to be rated on LoL Sumo. However, i dont agree with your point of view. I can see that you can gain "Competetive skill" in league through ranked games, but you can gain Some experience from playing other modes too. ARAM can help you hone your skills in teamfighting, and normal games help you get started by honing your skills and sorting out the basics of league's gameplay and mechanics.
: Score is good. Your item choice on soraka is bronze. 0 Sightstone and generally no support items. Unless you get Luden/RoA for trolling/fun, then that is another story. Runes are bad. Celerity + Scorch/Waterwalking are better for supports. Get Revitalize instead of Secondwind since you do healing.
hmm. I tend to get RoA simply for the extra health so i can continue to support my ADC and for that little bit of extra AP. Scorch is good early game, i guess i usually prefer lategame or is it still actually useful lategame? I was always thinking about Revitalize but i always like that extra health regen, seems like i gotta try it more instead then. I usually get Athenes or Ardent when i can, but it usually streches over to 10+ min. I guess i gotta learn to rush support items instead and get sightstone for the extra early health instead of RoA. I do main Soraka, even though i used to hate her >->...

nah. i do agree with your view point of "a noob is someone who doesn't know the basics of the game or doesn't know how to play enough to pass" However, no one should really be classified as a "noob" Noob "a person who is inexperienced in a particular sphere or activity, especially computing or the use of the Internet." : Look I recommend you start playing tans like sejuany,mundo,zac... Tanks that can clear jungel camp fast so you can move on with farming. If you like assasins than I recommen Kayn, Khazix but only when you have masterd them you can destroy the enemy team. You have to keep an eye on the map for the enemy jungler and for helpong your team when you wonna gank allways tell your laner that you wonna gank that he lets the enemy push in tell him just to lasthit minions and than come from behinde if you get the enemy flash dont think you faild cone back to that same lane when hes back and over extended. Allways kepp an eye on the drake as well Infernal draje is very iportant if you have a mundo are nasus on your team if you get a chance take a ocean drake allways ping to other lanes when you see the enemy champion are jungler so they know dont pick dumb fights with the enemy jungler try and farm up get your jungel item befor the enemy and and gank lanes as much as possible if yoi are playing an assasin than you can solo the dragon. Allways try and take objectives. I recommen also that you main 2 to 3 junglers so if 1 are 2 of your mains are band you still have a last chance. I hope this is gonna help you Im a jungel main so dont get it wrong I just wont to help you. Have funn mainning jungel. :)
