And a small plus: With the rework of shield items (to make support role more appealing- pft), all these "click and restore a billion health", "click and have tons of resistances" adds up to the problem.

This is what happens when you offer reward for anything. The mentality of players haven't changed, but they honor you to get some sh*tty rewards. Personally, I don't honor anybody ever, in fact, if report could reduce the amount of honors someone has, I'd report anyone just to make sure. :D

First of all: Smurf account I don't play on, other accounts got banned from Boards. Silly-willy-oversensitive mods. Now: What you suggest is a stupid idea. Stop being so whiny and play the game. If you get frustrated so much by playing against random people from different place of world, age group, etc., then MOBA isn't your game at all. And you also describe ranked like it's some kind of torture, like people only play it to get those rewards. No, they play it, because it reflects skill level better than playing hundreds or thousands of normal games. The more you play, the more you learn, the higher you climb. And if you have no time to play, then.. honestly, who cares? There are other people who have time to play, but they do work for that reward. It's not like getting to gold is something incredibly hard or time investing thing. The whole competitive feeling of ranked actually does attract some people, and more than you imagine.

When you queue up, the system attempts to find 10 people to match up together with roughly the same MMR. It won't be possible to always get a game where 10 people has the exact same MMR, and it's hard enough to get a game where both teams have the exact same. Usually one team would have a slightly higher MMR than the other. Now, the difference is small enough for it not really matter when it comes to ingame skill, but when it comes to how much MMR you gain or lose (depending on the outcome), it's purely based on what those MMR numbers were. If you have lower MMR than the other players in your team, a victory will give you more MMR than if you had higher MMR than the players in your team. To some extent, it's just a matter of chance when it comes to exactly who you were matched up with based on MMR. I don't think there is ever going to exist a matchmaking that will always find people with the exact same MMR in every single game. You may be able to get that for the most populated areas of the ladder, but remember that there may be people left without being able to find a single game, since their MMR differentiates too much from everyone else. Role selection and autofill status also has to be factored in for everyone.

Plat is not even remotely close to being high ELO, and just because there is one game where Yasuo didn't get banned, doesn't mean that he isn't permabanned basically.
