: I think it is how their brain works... If you have for example cassio ganking, when soraka sees that the adc is getting killed, she will usually heal, then heal with ult, then heal again... Trying to help by balancing the HP of her carry. I wont even cross her mind, to let her carry HP fall, but move closer to silence the %%%%%. And then use the heals to bring him back up. Its like focusing on symptoms and not the cause... And if you have heard "every man for himself"... people really mean "man"... You will never see "giving up"... she will try to the last breath to heal her adc, because whatever reasons... I really do not get it. Honestly.. when he is done he is done. I'm support main, I know when you have to use your adc as dog food and throw him under the bus, so you can live... cuz he dead anyway. I cannot prove it, but I am sure that soraka has such low "AFK/LEAVE" rate, because of the women playing them...
I play supp a 2(i cant play ADC 4 some reason ex aphelios). So when I play aphelios I see how they are trying all to heal(if they say there a girl).I find that a nice mentality.

: He did not. In the gun mmorpg his avatar looked female-alike but in fact was a man character.
But when he came to the video game world everybody recognized it was a rear avatar but when he said that he was a gay they said that that is an even rearer avatar so there must be a girl and boy avatar that look alike. (i feel ashamed i haven't seen the series in a long time but I still remember)

: He never cross-dressed as girl (at least not in the two season that I have seen).
He did in SAO2

Nothing else other that I noticed that a bunch of supp saying that they are a girl.
: Yeah, I get asked quite a lot if I'm a girl, 'cause I play supp and even my name indicates it. Not that it matters if people ask it. I'm a girl and nothing wrong with that. I won't tolerate sexism though, which occurs from time to time.
There's nothing wrong with being a girl I agree with that.
: Um, idk... I'm mostly an adc too but why the hell would I ask my support if they are a girl or a guy lol
I actually made a friend by asking a player if hes a boy or a girl.

: Yes. The classic is soraka support that does nothing but clicking W every 10 seconds... They are usually premade with someone. If you have some very good, and some afk soraka with same premade... this is either his GF or lil sister. I recognize them just by the way they move and react to changes in-game. They are not like men. Not even slightly alike... And fyi, if you happen to be asked: "How did you know..." The answer "because you play like shit" is the wrong one... tested.
I don't agree with assuming that girls are worse at videogames but I do seem to recognize if my suppp is a boy or a girl.
: From my experience, more than often girls prefer to play support. Now, I understand that you may want to start asking questions and make assumptions about it, like "is it skill-related?" "is it a shady thing to do?" "could it be psychology?" No matter the reason, at first glance it seems to happen. But my guess would be that, probably girls are not as often interested in investing in League, as much as their male counterparts. Support is far from easy, but in lower Elo, you can skip a couple of things you'll have to absolutely deal with, when playing another role. More than that, new players are encouraged to start playing support, so I guess a few of these girls are new players. I don't care that much whether my female teammate decides to deal damage or apply control. I've met a friend, who told me he encountered a high diamond girl that played Yasuo mid and carried them. So I am pretty sure you can gather a female team able to play every role.
Yeah, maybe it is a psychology thing because when I play overwatch most of the girls are mercy players. I don't care if my teammate is a boy or a girl I just noticed a pattern and wanted to ask if people experienced that too.

: I remember old good MMORPG days, when people were pretending to be a girl for getting help or items.
SAO player here are u Kirito.
