This so much! The old system was perfect! Nothing gave me the same feeling like going in with 5 friends knowing that we will face another 5 premades, it felt like we were in LCS in a way. Now it's like "ok guys choose your roles and let's begin, it's going to be another free win..." , what I want to say is that the good feeling is gone :\ . The games felt good even if we lost because we knew we worked together and we knew that we faced 5 guys like us, it was a challenge but now things are dumbed down. Then the game tells the team leader that it found a player for the position he is searching. After that the team leader may or may not accept that player. If he accepts then you get a notification, you have 20 seconds to accept it. And in the end you are in the team room. So your problem would be that most team leaders aren't interested in Braum jungle or Cait mid so they don't choose you. If they don't choose you, you don't even get that notification and that's why the queues seem so long. Go to comment
