Looks like there were a problem with Avast, blocking the launcher, so to solve this, problem you now have to update Avast, should be pretty straight forward. I'm sorry for any discomfort this may have caused you.

Yep, Avast definitions updated today, everything works.
: Lol launcher virus?
Well, I already did a Boot time Scan, a smart scan and also scanned my Program Files folders, everything came out clean.
: Lol launcher virus?
Im going to leave some details on the issue im encountering because I just noticed Avast might not be talking about the file I thought it did. OS: Windows 10 Antivirus: Avast There is lol.launcher.exe and lol.launcher.admin.exe located in \Riot Games\League of Legends\ . Those are 96kb each but do not trigger the antivirus. The file flagged is lollauncher.exe located in \Riot Games\League of Legends\Rads\projects\lol_launcher\releases\0.0.1.10\deploy. I just uploaded that file on virustotal and it comes back clean. lol.launcher.exe was reported as w32.salinity only in 1 out of 54 checks (AegisLab) so thats probably a false positive. The process reported as suspect is \Riot Games\League of Legends\Rads\System\rads_user_kernel.exe . I tried deleting the whole 0.0.1.10 folder to force a refetch but the new files trigger the alarm again and get sent to the vault. Id like a Riot confirmation before i report the file as a false positive and force it to execute.

I see two executables, lollauncher.exe and administrator-lollauncher.exe. Both are 96k. I doubt thats the right size. Virustotal insists its infected with w32.salinity. stupidly i run the admonistrator one with elevated rights. Anyone started a ticket for this yet? The 2 launchers always existed. But the 96KB sure is fishy...
If you are clean could you please check the correct size?
