: The report system is handled by automated systems. But when it comes to permas (that are not a consequence of using zero tolerance swearing or leaverbuster) cases get manually reviewed. That's when report-explanations can have an impact. So definetely keep up your modusOperandi. You might think it is useless but you wouldn't if you were here 7-8 years ago. It has improved a lot. Maybe try out EUW because lots of EUNE players told me that they consider their own region the worst in terms of toxicity...
Do the automated systems ever actually get anyone? cause ive never seen anything change.. like, at all. Also changing regions costs a lot of money and i dont wanna make a new account since ive been using my current one for like 3-4 years. So switching to EUW isnt really an option unfortunately. Thanks for the comment.
: Maybe they do from time to time but rarely or don't at all. There's some robot who is doing that. Imagine if everyone who deserved ban was actually banned, there won't be players left in this game. Because almost everyone gets out of control sometimes and says something bad, and almost everyone at least once in his League careeer says something extremely bad that can get him 14 days ban or permanent ban. Even i have crossed the line in the past, but from very long time i'm polite or sometimes just little bit annoying for which i get my honor level progress freezed. So sometimes someone can be skipped.
Yea i mean we've all said bad things but i guess my main issue is when a player is basically bullying you even if you havent said anything to them. I dont care if someone says one bad word to me its when people are showing no empahy at all for like 30 minutes and they think its ok because you "fed". Thanks for the comment.
: Those are a lot of assumptions.

Jesus, i am paying attention but you yourself even said that that system has many flaws, diddnt you?? Im saying there is probably some way that riot could make the champion select perfect but they arent putting their focus on that area of the game which is why im making this post so that they might rethink it.
: You'll find it's typically a lower Elo mentality that doesn't enjoy playing support. If I queue as "fill" now, I actually usually end up bottom or top, not support. Hell, I've queued support / mid and been put mid lane before. It's not a flaw with the role. >I mean i feel like bad people shouldnt have a the choice to do the things that they do to annoy people. In a perfect world, yes. Unfortunately it's just not doable. And there's really no tools to "prevent" people from picking certain champions on certain roles, as this would stop trading and prevent anything slightly off meta.
I get what you mean but im not suggesting preventing people from picking off meta champions, im just saying there has to me SOME way of fixing it.

If there is a problem theres gotta be a way to solve it. Constructive criticism is one of the ways to fix it, but not hatred and complaining. And even now, your complaints are empty, you just spread negativity and have no clue what you're talking about.
Thats a really wierd way of looking at it. I saw a problem and presented it to riot. How is there anything wrong with that? Im not even saying anything that negative im just stating facts. And then you say that **i** dont know what im talking about? im not even sure you understand what i mean.
Febos (EUW)
: My "solution" isn't a solution because it doesn't solve the problem. It doesn't happen as often as you think it does. Why? Because players are given their primary/secondary role more often than they're filled. Your bias is clouding your memory. About that player in particular. Players like him will inevitably be punished if they don't change their behaviour. He wasn't reported in that game, but he might be in the next one. You didn't "bite the bullet" this time, but someone else might in the future. I know this isn't the "good ending" you're hoping for and, honestly, there isn't one. Cases like this, albeit rare, are very hard to deal with. We'd need something like this: [China ingame voting system](https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/5l11ag/lol_china_has_implemented_an_ingame_voting_system/), but for champion select. Obviously, a system like that has many flaws, mainly because it's easy to abuse. Something like it must be done carefully. Until then, we just have to deal with those nasty players. {{sticker:zombie-nunu-bummed}}
I dont get why so many people have this "just gotta deal with it" attitude. There must be some way that champion select can be changed so that these kinds of things cant happen. Playing a game where you have to be worried that youll get into a game with a troll everytime you queue up really sucks.
: It's a shame you experienced this. It doesn't happen all too often from what I experience or see (not that I'm discrediting your experiences). The problem is that this isn't necessarily a flaw with the game, as it is other people. You will almost always find this sort of behaviour in any multiplayer online game. For example; In WoW, when dungeon finder assembles parties, it's not uncommon to have a "healer" really just be a DPS that filled "heals" but refuses to do so. Best thing to do in these situations is make the best of it, report and move on. Sometimes just adapt your playstyle. On a rare occassion that this has happened to me I ended up playing Gnar support. It wasn't the best, but we actually ended up winning that game. And I still reported the person afterwards. You can also take screenshots and submit tickets to player support as well.
I mean i feel like bad people shouldnt have a the choice to do the things that they do to annoy people. Which is why the problem is with the game imo. I feel like one solution would be to make the support role more interesting/rewarding since having a game that revolves around a role that nobody seems to like playing is obviously a bad thing.
Ìxeas (EUW)
: >League is flawed on a fundamental level And what's your solution to fix it? You are posting a discussion, but there's nothing to discuss about. Yes, the system isn't perfect, but complaining about it won't help. https://imgur.com/a/OVemwnF
"complaining about it wont help" huh?? Complaining about things that are wrong with a game is the only way to fix it. I dont have the solution im just saying that riot should think about this. And what do you mean there is nothing to discuss? There obviously is since there is a problem. If there is a problem theres gotta be a way to solve it.

I of course dodged and i recived a dodge timer. > > This is my point. The fact than i can get punished for the actions of an immature person who doesnt follow rules is really messed up. You could have played that game and then reported him at the end. You'd lose LP, but he would get something worse. Also, someone else on your team could have dodged if you held your ground (including him). In any case, losing a few LP for a dodge isn't the end of the world and sometimes is necessary. It's a shame we can't report that behaviour unless you actually play the match.
Spending 20-40 minutes of my life on a match that i know wont be fun just so that i can report the guy doesnt make since. First of all things like this happen way too often to do that every time and even if i did the report system is really messed up and player never seem to get punished. Also, i did hold my ground, i dodged 1 second before the game began so it was clear he wasnt going to dodge. your solution to this problem would only work if this was a rare thing but unfortunatley it happens all the time.

: That has yet to be proven. Because I very rarely get people banning others intended picks, I don't think it would make much of a difference though.
Well it has been proven. I cant remember when it was but a little while ago you could not ban peoples intended champions. Back then nobody trolled me in champ select.
: This is generally why I never hover champions before picking them. That kind of behavior is very scumbag and childish, in my opinion. And while I personally would never condone trolling for any reason, when people ban a teammate's intended champion on purpose, they are effectively inviting the person to troll. I've seen it happen before, plenty of times, sadly.
Right, and while that does work, what if i want to play a meta/op champion that pretty much gets banned every game? I would have to hover it or else my team would ban the champion because they dont want to play against it and they dont see anyone on their team that wants to play that champion. (Ex.) I want to play Cho'Gath (Who is banned a lot nowadays) And i dont hover him. My team is probably going to ban him since it doesnt seem like i want to.
: > I still do not understand why banning peoples champions is possible I mean, why wouldn't that be possible? People are allowed to ban whomever they want and for whatever reason they want. If they're banning your champions just out of pure boredom or whatever, they're just horrible teammates. However, you should be able to play other champions as well and not respond back with a tantrum.
Yes of course, But that doesnt mean that it shouldnt be fixed. Its just stupid that riot would even give you an option to ban a teammates champion.
GLurch (EUW)
: The problem I stated is, that the fix wouldn't be a fix. You could still abuse it and it would be bad for certain situations as well.
Yes and as i said, i understand that. But people troll way more by banning peoples intended champions than they would if they were to change it.
GLurch (EUW)
: Here on EUW, I encounter it only very rarely. Maybe once in 20 games, if not even rarer. I doubt it's a problem caused by different servers, because people from EUW claim the same. Probably negativity bias is at fault. Meaning, you encounter it not that often, but had it maybe 2 or 3 times in the past few weeks and your mind just remembers these bad champion selects you had easier than the normal champion selects you had. It's also possible you are the most unlucky person in this game, but I doubt it.
Im not saying it happens often? Im just saying it should never **have** to happen. Id say it happens maybe 2-4 times a month wich is not that bad but when it happens its one of the most tilting things ever, Because its so easy to fix but riot just do not care.
GLurch (EUW)
: Here's an example: One champion is currently completely overpowered. Let's say that champion is Kha'Zix. Our last pick wants to pick him and our first or second pick don't have Kha'Zix. Since he's completely overpowered and everyone knows about it, the enemy will likely pick him. Seems like a fair reason to ban his pick, but still, you can't because of the system, so you just lose the game because of it. Or here is another example of why not: You absolutely hate LeBlanc. You ask your teammates if anyone plays her. Since everybody says no, you want to ban her. Too bad, one of your teammates wants to troll you and locks in LeBlanc as an intended champion. The point is: It could be used to troll just like it is now used, with the difference that it has even more downsides.
I get that whole thing about op champions and everything but there is **definitely** not more downsides. 9/10 times people ban others intended champs its because they are salty about being autofilled or something and want to ruin the game for the others.

You wrote this answer like you were 100% sure that i wanted to play Yasuo? lol. > In this case i wanted to play Draven and in many other cases i have wanted to play completley resonable meta champions and they still ban it because they are salty that they were autofilled. > And why should i have to "live with it" when its such an easy thing to fix? > There is litteraly no reason that you should be able to ban your teammates champions. Its just stupid. I know u didnt want to play yasuo but im kinda biased against him and also its most of the time the problem is out of that ppl want to pick him but his bannrate is so high im sorry for that it was just a let's say 1 point ofc there is other points where u getting banned for draven or wukong or singed I know its hard sometimes but making intended pick unbannable isnt going to fix the problems it would just make more mess this can be fixed rly easy whit just talking whit others as a normal person would do. There were a lot of time when our last pick wanted a FOTM champ and our first 2 pick didnt have the champ it was open and enemy second pick took it and than our last pick went on tilt. I was serius about the" u can live whit it" since if u cant ur just being stuborn and childish beliving u are destined to play that champ every time u want, this isnt how it works. And again the problem rly can be solved by just being cool and go whit the flow u cant have everything u want every time. So again pls think it through whit everything i said. Patching everything up in the game that u dont like isnt going to make things better if u YOURSELF dont want to improve as a player AS A PERSON going through this moments whit cool head can improve you but being stuborn and calling a fix on things that dont need to be fixed isnt good. Remember ppl will find a way to try to tilt/troll/harash others but it doesnt matter cause the real mvp cant THEY WONT give in and YOU can be like that someone wants to flame /troll you go something off pick DO WELL WHIT IT HAVE SOME FUN........and than move on thinking "this was cool". Short answer : Im kinda biased toward things i like or i dont like i know that im nowhere near a good player i just have my own sight of view and this is what i see. Intended picks should stay as they are cuz there is already a fix for that, talking whit ur team post game to make sure u build up the team u can fight whit and cool ppl wont try to %%%% up ur game even if u think they are they have their reasons.
How is it going to make things messier? Even if i had asked them not to ban my champ it wouldnt have mattered since all he wanted to do was to troll me. And im not saying i CANT live with it im just saying i shouldnt have to live with it since its so easy to fix. I diddnt in any way say that i think that im "destined" to play my champs or that i should get what i want all the time. All i said was that it doesnt make since that you are able to ban peoples intended champions. What can banning peoples champions be good for? litteraly all i have ever seen it been used for is to troll people because they are salty that they were autofilled. I just dont understand how/why you think this should be in the game?
Aseraan (EUW)
: yeah lemme guess u wanted yasuo no thx this is the short answer for me The long answer is something like this: It makes no sense that intended picks why wouldn't be bannable cuz its would possibly make just as much trouble or more than banning intended picks and as i said a lot of time to ppl u can be a decent human being and ask ur team to not bann it OR OR JUST O MY GOSh maybe u can live whit it and play something else for that time it can be just as much fun as wukong or someone else there is a lot of champion. As for last resort u can dodge as u said and take the penalty its ur decision u have the tools work whit them.:) but making yasuo unbannable when he is 90% of my games intnended pick yes pls yasuo every game...............
What the f*ck are you talking about? You wrote this answer like you were 100% sure that i wanted to play Yasuo? lol. In this case i wanted to play Draven and in many other cases i have wanted to play completley resonable meta champions and they still ban it because they are salty that they were autofilled. And why should i have to "live with it" when its such an easy thing to fix? There is litteraly no reason that you should be able to ban your teammates champions. Its just stupid.
