: Patch 7.6 EUW Galio Ult Bug
I just played a game and can confirm that everything works fine. His W is something I need to get used to cause I keep wanting it to work like regular active shields W. You know - like Leona, Naut, Sion etc. I messed up a few times cause I press W and then want to use other abilities while W is still charging :) His ult works as intended though. What most likely happened in your case is that you got CCed as soon as your ult animation started. This what provided the shield to your ally but you never arrived. However, not sure about knock up. Go to see a replay of that game and check what happened. If it really was bug, then send it report to support. I tried in training mode as well and ult never fails.
: Gold V
I think it's situational. It has nothing to do with where we are atm. It's just that all of us tend to get carried away by good games and good teams that we had earlier and once we encounter a bad team or a bad game in that "higher elo" we immediately assume that nothing has changed even though we climbed "all to way to wherever". I played between Bronze V and Plat III and the actual difference is minimal (no matter what we try to tell ourselves). It's less likely that you have someone who trolls or goes AFK the higher you climb. However, we tend to have some unrealistic expectations of "those promised lands" up there where everyone plays well with a smile and just drops a gg in the end regardless of the outcome. Example: If you are in Bronze and if in 6 out of 10 games someone just trolls or goes AFK (ally or foe) you blame it on Bronze elo - right? If you are in Plat and someone trolls or goes AFK just once and you lose cause of that - you come here and make a thread saying W T F Simple :)

: It's not shit if it gets buffed. And it actually fits tanky supports really well.
I play nothing BUT tanky supports and not once have I purchased that item. I can imagine potential situations when I would buy it but in reality, you are already stomping and there is no need for the item. Other scenarios are that you are already losing so hard that it makes no point having that item OR it is already so late in the game that there is again no need to by the silly thing cause all turrets are down anyway and it is going to be a team fight that will decide the outcome of the game and guess what's the last item that you ever going to need? That's right, it's in the title :)

: A Diamond support player's thoughts on Bronze mentality / 10 things I noticed playing in Bronze
Bronze people fail to understand what "boosted means". I kid you not. At one point in B5 I kept seeing people flaming each other calling each other "boosted". I did check, both flamers were B5. Best course of action is - don't even try to explain :) In addition, I saw some people who thought that they were smurfing cause their main account is B1. Sadly, flaming and poor decision making extended all the way to Plat4 (that was the highest I managed to climb). Difference is that flaming is not that common the higher you go but it is still there.
: Pls nerf WW :((
Take any champ who can just push him away (or just cc him) and it is over. He may get ahead early but unless you manage to lose your Nexus in first 15 minutes and/or have no CC in your team, he becomes more and more useless as game goes on. I main Alistar and I feel bad for WW when he gets picked by enemy team.

: EUNE Server
Well, I played 3 games so far after maintenance. No lag in 1st game. 2nd game had no lag as well. Then 3rd game also played out normal until about 20 min or so and then it started to lag really bad. So as nobody could really see what was going on cause lag went up to 145 but (my normal ms is 37 - 50) the game turned into a slide who where everyone just mash the buttons and hope for the best. It was ofc a promo game but %%%% that. It was so stupidly laggy that it was actually kind of fun. One sec we are having this team fight and then everyone is just all over the place. I think their team knew how to push through this better then we did. They stuck together and went towards our base while we were clearly more effected by the events.
: @Riot Could we get more data from the "failed" role exclusion which was tested on the LAS server?
We do not need this data at all. What good could come from that? If it didn't work and had to be scrapped after testing then there is no point for any of us to argue how it wasn't all that bad or whatever.
: Just out of interest how long have you been playing League? In your opinion what is the difference between the current autofill system and the old last pick gets landed with support way of things? Additionally what are the benefits of the 1st pick chooses their role and last pick takes whatever is left Vs autofill? Before I joined Riot I learned quickly that support is the 2nd role that everyone needed to learn as it's the one most people don't want to play and have not mastered meaning that if you had a good support on your team you had a better chance of winning bot lane because the other person wasn't up to par or picks a random mid laner and calls it support. If someone is just not willing to learn a role that they know that they have a high probability of playing every once and a while that's their decision. In normals I understand but in ranked well it just seems like logical sense that you would want to be proficient I do find at times that Autofill bugs me so don't think just because I have a red name that I think its all sunshine and rainbows but does autofill not encourage players to have a more rounded champion pool? I mean since the introduction of autofill I've gone from being able to play 3 roles to all 5 and am more open to trading position with others as I now have champs and a proficiency in each role?
Kill them with kindness :) As someone working in customer support this answer made me grin from ear to ear. I can just imagine the honest version of this response :)

Hey, I'm at work. It's an unusually slow day. :)
: Greetings forum dwellers. Let me start with my roles and role selection. Having played WoW for 6 years I grew increasingly appreciative of those players who play those roles which are required but not necessarily as fun or as rewarding as others (everyone wants to be DPS but nobody wants to tank or heal). When I started playing LoL I was already looking for a game that I could play for as long as I like and on my own demand. I could play 7 days in a row non stop if I felt like it and had time to do it but I could also just play 1 game (20-60 min) per month if time and obligations would not allow me more. Having all this in mind I asked a few mates who were already playing LoL and / or MOBA games in general. I asked them which role is least popular and of course the reply was - support. That is when I knew support would be my main role. I needed a champ who could fit more then one role as I hated being a noob again. I figured I better start by playing one champ and then advance later on (I started mid season 4). Then I needed a champion who does not get picked or banned often. In addition, I always liked a battle healer concept so taking everything above into equation - "my main champion" award goes to: {{champion:12}} (He also kind of kept me connected with The Horde) Much Tauren such moo. Mid season has brought a small rework to him and although I liked the old heal this change has made his E much more related to what he is meant to be. I always found it a bit odd that a heal was a part of tanks kit. Although he still heals heals now it is much more of a side thing then it used to be. Changes to his Q no longer being a stun will become more relevant when opponents find out how to exploit this and how much of a nerf this is. Nevertheless, Ali gives a lot of presence in battle and he fits my play style well. I was much more into dealing damage, flashy champs, assassins, mages, pew pew...when I was younger. Now I prefer to protect those who do the damage as others have protected and healed my flashy chars when I was younger.
Next up is {{champion:89}}. One thing I could never get myself to do while being younger is play female chars. Leona is probably the first female one who I grew accustom with. A tank is a tank. Leona is real fun support to play and as I recently began to notice, a much easier one to somewhat carry with then Ali. Addition of new support items along with Courage of The Colossus key stone mastery has added some extra fun factor to support role. Though some of the items along with COTC will surely get some tweaks, mid season has surely made it more fun to play as support. Last but not least is {{champion:16}}. I only recently started giving her a real try. To me she represents a direct opposite of "in your face" champs which I seem to enjoy but is by no means inferior. I enjoy the impact she can have on the outcome of any skirmish, full on team fight or another lane with a timely ult. Everything about her feels elegant and Windspeaker's Blessing keystone fits her perfectly. It might be that I just enjoy a bit of a different play style rather then the champion herself but I am definitively going to utilize her more in season 7. To finish things off I will just say that my secondary role would be jungle if any. It used to be second least desired after support when I started so naturally, I played there as well. However, when I queue as support as my main role (and make no mistake - I am far better support then I am jungler) I get a support role 100% of the time. Sorry for the long post. I just had some time to spare so I probably included way more details then anyone expected or cared for. Have a great day all and enjoy the upcoming holidays. Mooooooooooo!

: Hey guys, Thanks for bringing this up. **TL;DR: We can do better. And we will, where we can.** More context... Posting on the boards is something we wrestle with, wanting to do as much as we can, but there are some challenges. Happy to discuss more. Figured I'd put some things down here to hopefully provide some context. **Right or wrong, Red Names have a perception of authority.** For example, I work in the Live Services area, where we monitor and try to keep the game, boards, etc up and running all the time. If I just got out of a Ranked match where I was smashed by a {{champion:7}} , for example, and I come to the boards and say "/rage {{champion:7}} needs a nerf! Promo lost :(", well....that could get picked up as "Riot says LB needs a nerf". Guess what? I'm probably the LAST person at Riot that should be making champ balance decisions. Oh, and it could be because I'm in Silver and that LB was a Gold OTP LB. {{sticker:zombie-brand-facepalm}} That said, when we DO have the knowledge and expertise to post something, we should jump on it. For example, during yesterday's EUN Game Start issue, I [posted ](http://boards.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/announcements-en/Z45VXNos-resolved-eun-1492016-games-not-starting-properly)on the Announcements board, trying to keep everyone up to date on the status. We have the in-client ticker (that little yellow/red marker left of the Launch/Play button), and we have the [Server Status Page](http://status.leagueoflegends.com/#euw). But we can do better and the board post yesterday is an attempt to level up in this area. **Would love your feedback on whether it was useful.** We also like to post on the random and fun threads that are out there. "Who's your favorite champ?", "How do you beat Heimer top?", etc. These type of posts are a lot of fun because we are Players first and foremost, talking about the game we love. These type of threads are easy to hop into :) Constructive threads are also good. For example, "Anyone else in Portugal unable to connect?". Or "Why am I unable to buy the new Yorick skin?". These are specific and either let us know there's an issue, or we can reply saying we know about it. At least then you can know it's not just you, and it's on Riot's side of things to fix. Lastly, we try to avoid the really salty posts, because...well...they are salty. If there's a post that starts with "Rito servers are shit", more than likely that OP doesn't want me to provide [links](http://euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/riot-games/editorial/ping-pwn-waging-war-lag-eu-players) to Riot Direct [posts](http://euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/riot-games/editorial/ping-pwn-waging-war-lag-eu-players), or explain how we upgraded our servers, or how it could be their ISP. They are just mad and venting. I get it, and I don't want to just reply with a "yeah, sucks. sorry". That would make me rage even more if I were the OP. (That was a wall of text. Grats if you made it this far) So, what do you think? Besides doing a better job in general, do you think we should rethink the above points?
Good post. I assume that most of the players visiting these boards are young (not me though - 33 y/o posting from work when day gets slow :) ). I also remember how I used to look at thins when I was younger and I can imagine that a lot of player base fails to see "red" posters as players first. They automatically assume that anything stated by a "Riot" poster is official statement from Riot as a company. While you guys could clearly take more part on the boards I can see why this could cause problems for all of you personally. If you "ignore" a heated ongoing discussion about a champion / mechanic / balance (because you can't comment officially but a thread is one which could use an offical statement) and then you post in a lot of threads such as "who is the sexiest champ in LoL" then people are going to get annoyed even more. There's no winning. I used to moderate forum pages for a game once (it's even a well known game but i don't want to advertise them here). I just walked away eventually cause it was not possible to win and I was not even being paid (cause forum moderation was a volunteer work) to put up with all that BS. In short, I also would like you guys o post more but I understand that the struggle is real.

: From 23 to 26 September the RGMQ will feature ARURF.
Most champions are OP in URF mode. When will people get this? Anyone with hard CC and damage on top of that is a God in URF. Yasuo is probably the only champion who gets really screwed by URF. Why? Because for him nothing changes. The reason why Yasuo is strong in regular games is because he is in URF mode all the time with his Q and his E. His ult has a rather short CD anyway and W is rather situational in the first place. URF just brings everyone to his spamming level and as others have skills which are not meant to be freely spammed it is no surprise everyone becomes OP. I like the all random mode. Instead of good champions we are going to be banning those who are bad instead so we don't get stuck with them and there we go. Looking forward to URF.

: "It's always junglers fault,gg."
I am not even a jungler and I hate this stupid mentality. I am a support main. As support who queues solo for ranked games I can tell in first scrap if my adc is a potato, decent, good or a God. However, there is a special group of adc which I hate the most. Potato / decent who thinks he is a God. This it the dude who would flat out die in a 2v2 fight which could have been won if he was a bit better. He will then do the same thing and die even harder this time cause enemy bot lane now has an advantage of that 1st heal. After that he will go on to cry about jungler not ganking ot even randomly calling out our jungler for assistance. This is the type of player who needs to muted ASAP or else he gets a Yasuo or Riven main to join his "We flame the jungler" team. No matter what happens next they will always find a way to blame the jungler. You know that dude? 4 players doing Barron while he is solo killing drake. Enemy team shows up at drake and kills him while his team grabs a Barron. He proceeds to flame the jungler and calls for reports for jungler or the entire team for that matter. Cause we all know - if 4 members of the team are at X and 5th member is at Y, clearly the 4 members are positioned wrong to help their God.
: Yorick wall health
As far as I saw, the wall dies in 2 auto attacks. I find it odd that they even need to show health of a wall that lasts 2 hits or as many seconds. Your idea is good though and something that could easily be implemented. OR rather then change color they could make the wall size decrease after 1st hit. When I say decrease in size I mean decreases in a sense of how tall the wall is. So after it gets hit once it decreases by 50%. I like your idea but am really not even sure that it needs to even have an indicator of how much health it has in any way.

: Expansion to the mastery level system!
I'm sure people would find a way to cheat the system and would be getting S+ way more often then it is intended while not actually being all that useful to their team. This way everyone tries their best to get that S (even though it doesn't mean anything actually). One simple example. If you saw that number of placed wards would increase your chance to get S+ we would see all roles buying sightstone and spam wards in their fountain. Do you get S+ in the end - yes. Did you actually play well - hell no. Ofc this is just a random thought and I hope you understand what I mean.

: FYI. We are still investigating and have multiple engineers looking into it.
I wrote to support a month or so ago and even made a thread on the boards to report that it happens that sometimes matches do not get registered as played after they have already been won. This costed me a demotion from Plat and I have been struggling to get back there for over a month now. Basically, I played a game and won when I was in Plat V and at 0 IP (I lost a few while being at 0). Then I win a game which is not shown in match history at all and no IP were granted. I lost next game after that, dropped to Gold I and yea... It's not even about ranking but more about the bug itself. Anyway, the problem continues to happen and since then I have had another game like this that did not register but it did not have the same impact so I guess it didn't really matter then. Same thing happened in normal games. There are at least 3 games that never registered. Those I played with a few friends and none of us have some of those games in our match histories. While you are already investigating some issues can you also look into this problem? I can't be the only one who experienced this problem. Thank you.

: Patch 6.17.16 - /remake option not working
I haven't noticed this myself but just to be sure -- you know that someone from your team actually needs to do /remake in order to start the vote - right? Not trying be a smart ass here I just know that some people didn't actually realize that you need to type /remake (same as you do for surrender). They always ended up in a situation where someone else has started the vote and genuinely thought that this vote happens automatically after 3 minutes. In all honesty I haven't had a need for remake recently so I can't tell you if it works or doesn't work for me. If what I wrote above is not a factor then there is a bug indeed and needs to be addressed.

Oh look, this guy didn't kill anyone. He also didn't rape anyone and hasn't committed any felonies at all. Lets reward him. Basically what you are asking for... You are supposed to be nice.
: The " It's you, not your teams" quote
I try my best. I don't flame my team mates (EVER). I play support. However, I can't do anything about my team mates flaming each other from very first kill. Stuff like "we got this", "play safe" etc. or simply muting them does not help. I do my best and I do make mistakes of my own ofc but it is too often that the game is lost before I am relevant enough to assist anyone. I always focus on MY mistakes but there is no way of stopping your ADC for example from constantly flaming your top because he died or didn't follow on TP from the enemy or whatever stupid reason he finds fit. You can't stop other lanes from flaming your jungler and you are screwed when you see that your ADC has no clue how to trade and fails to realize that other people (you) have cooldowns on their abilities as well. You go in for a trade, your ADC goes all in and does not fall back to wait for CDs. Blames you, blames the jungler, blames lag, RIOT and OP champs he is against. He refuses to hear advice and spends most of his time flaming in all chat. Not a single thing you can do about this. I used to think that as long as you focus on yourself you are bound to climb but I was wrong. I recently started playing ranked with 2 friends. We won most of our games. Jung/Mid/Supp. That's our combo. However, as soon as I start playing without them, 2 out of 3 games I encounter constant flaming (90% of the flames are directed at another team member but still). Nothing worse then when someone dies while typing. Just play damn it.... So yes, you actually can end up in a shit team streak. On the other hand, I remember games where my presents was so insignificant that I could have just alt tab and watch a movie while riding on the back of my team. So I guess it comes down to being fair. I am actually starting to think that dynamic queue is a good thing as at least I lose to better teams / team comps or cause of some mistakes that we make but never because someone decides that the game is over after 3rd minute first blood. No conclusion though. I got from B5 to Plat 5 last season. I got from S3 to Plat4 on my own this season and when I was 1:1 in promos for Plat3 a horrible streak happened. Now I lose more points then I gain and I am constantly going back and forth between G2 and G3. I am not even mad. I don't even care about the rank. I just don't like giving up and I hate it when people think that the game is over because X champion got a few kills. Just play...

If you invite a full team you will not be able to spot all those bots. I want to believe that you are not randomly playing some ARAM and want to see first hand how many leveling bots are there. Play alone. You will be lucky to have a player or two along with yourself across both teams. Ratio has reached 3 to 7 in favor of leveling bots.

Oh...I even missed that part :) Anyway, it's not like many play Yasuo support hence A rating :)
: Support Yasuo
You listed a few problems there already. You have no reliable CC to save your ADC which means that unless you get really incredibly ahead early on, it's over. You are not a tank, you have no utility and you are basically a burden unless you decide to play as if you were playing mid. In addition, be aware that you do not get compared to supports in general but you get compared to same champion supports (in your case - Yasuo supports). This is what grants you post game ratings.
: Botting is perfectly fine? Their identity is safe now!
Leveling bots. WoW had problems with these for years. Still does I guess. I am not playing it any more. I didn't know LoL actually had this issue until I recently played a few games on an account I made on EU West (cause NE was down and I was bored). I played several games against bots and I think in all all games but 1 I have had a leveling bot on my team. Has same behavior. Goes to a lane and just uses abilities randomly, dies a lot, buys strange items and feeds a lot. By the time everyone else hits level 10, the bot is level 4 and has died 10+ amount of times.

Tank support and focus her down. At level 3 most of these poke AP supports become dog meat. The only exception is Morgana due to her black shield. Everyone else is not going to have much fun in lane after level 3. As Alistar main I do tend to ruin most of these squishy mid AP wannabe supports. After you have burned your flash with a support like that you best hug your turret till it's off CD again.

: The Voice Chat
I don't think voice chat is necessary but I do think it would be a good option to have. In addition, I believe people would be less likely to rage on voice when typing. Most of those who rage and insult are kids. Kids are brave behind their keyboards (and still will be) so they feel as if they can type anything. When it comes to actually saying stuff I think it will be an different story. No doubt there will still be those who rage but I am expecting that toxicity level in general will go down.

: New Ping Idea - Warded! Ping
I upvoted and it's a fine idea. It is also an idea as old as the game itself. I am not sure why Riot does not want to implement it (though I can guess) but lets face it. If people could just think a bit more then this ping would not even be needed. How many times has it happened to you that even though you are using 3 different pings on the same bush your allay is heading to he still proceeds to that bush and "hides" in it to wait for the gank? To me this happens every other game. Pink, ping, ping! Nope, dude still walks in the bush. Their lane backs off and I have to type "warded". I am not sure if having the actual "warded" ping would actually change anything. I would be willing to bet that same players would still be waiting in that bush until they either get counter-ganked or until you tell them in chat that the bus is warded.
: How is this not a S?
Hopefully this will get addressed in 6.13. I had a number of games myself (as I am sure many other support mains have had) where I warded the most BY FAR, had KDA like 2/1/28 (which is the stupidest I can remember) and then get a B+ in the end. I have also had a number of games where I got A+ after not having set a foot wrong all game. Getting S- was hard but collecting 3 S coins was a pain (still don't have enough essences to create level 7 mastery for my Alistar but at least I collected coins). You know the system is clearly not working as intended when you participate in 80% + of total kills, ward way more then anyone, tank a huge chunk of damage while buffing and healing your time along the way, not dying at all while collecting 30+ assists only to find out that that is not good enough for an S. I do hope 6.13 will bring in some positive changes.

: Support role
Never got called boosted when I played support. I rarely get praises thought cause role is a bit under appreciated. I don't want to see the tole change or make it more rewarding to play but some changes are indeed needed and hopefully they will get addressed in patch 6.13 as announced earlier. The reason why I want some changes to take place is so that I can play against others who main support role. In my experience, games are won or lost before I become relevant enough to buy enough time for my team do their thing in a team fight. Due to poor mentality which a large number of players I encountered seem to be sporting, a lot of games get decided after first few kills. You already see people who type GG after first negative event took place and by the time I get around to help them as support (tank support that is) they have already died too many times and given up on the game that no matter how well I play they are too much of a burden to carry. However, a do believe that a game can be decided by a good support. This is why I would want the role to become more popular because I don't really feel like I achieved much when we stop our lane in which opposing support though that going for AP support and playing it as if he was mid would be a good idea. When I look at post match stats and see that their support has done tons of damage (but still lost horribly) but placed under 20 wards throughout the entire game I know that I didn't outplay someone who mains the role but got stuck with it that round. I don't mind being outplayed by a better role main cause that is how I learn and improve. On the other hand I don't really enjoy beating someone who just had to support cause nobody else would. I am plat but I am support plat. Place me in mid and I am sure that any mid main (regardless of their ranking) would have a field day with me. That is how I feel when down bot we are destroying our opponents because their "support" did not buy a sightstone (let alone a pink ward) causing our jungler, our ADC and myself to feast of them. Sorry for a long post. I wanted to say this for a while and your thread seemed like the appropriate place to share my thoughts.
Rioter Comments
: Maybe I am maybe I'm not, but how well am I expected to play alongside 4 people who are dying over and over. I can't control their actions, I try to make plays which are not follow up. I can only do so much, if I'm being oneshot by enemies are just so incredibly fed where does "skill" come into question?
Remember to flame them good and hard. I heard this helps a lot.

: playing support in bronze?
Everyone wants to be a hero who does the most damage to champions as they feel that this shows how they carried their team. You don't need to be another one of those taking on a damage support role so that you can carry yourself out of low elo hell. I would strongly recommend that you play a tank support. {{champion:12}} {{champion:201}} {{champion:89}} {{champion:44}} {{champion:223}} {{champion:111}} are all good options. Pick one, mater it and stick with it. Learn two more along the way just to have some alternatives but stick with the one you like the best. That way you always make sure that your team has at least one tank. It will not always be enough but it's a start. Continue to ward and do your thing and you will be out of there in no time.
: So, i started to play support more. And now, i know this.
I main support and I can tell you this. If you want to be a true support main you have to always remember: ** A SUPPORT HAS NO NAME** You need to be fine with that. If you want glory and recognition then support is not the role for you.
: Let your supports get the cannon minion please!
Another note. If I roam as support and end up mid or top for a minute. If my relic stacks are up, please let me hit the minions. I hate when Yasuo main has to swoop in and kill a whole wave in 2 hits before I can even swing.

: Bronze Excuses/Cliche's
The only cliche is that these excuses apply only to Bronze players. The truth is, you hear all sorts of excuses in every bracket. The difference is that you hear them more often in lower elo but they all remain even in Plat (where I am). I haven't been eny higher then that but I guess the same rule applies.
: Suggestion: People who jump to ranked as soon as they hit level 30
The sooner you jump in ranked the better. There is no need to practice on bots more then required simply because they act in one way all the time. If you want to compete then you join ranked as soon as you hit 30. If you don't care to compete then you don't have to play ranked at all. I joined ranked as soon as I reached level 30. I was placed in Silver V (I think) and I ended the season in Silver 1. I started mid season 4. Last season I started in Bronze V and ended up in Plat. Now I reached plat again. Conclusion: It doesn't matter where and when you start. In order to reach higher you must start somewhere. You will meet a lot of bad players while you are just passing by as others will just pass you by while being on their way to the top.
