I think you made a very good summary about why listening to player is most of the time an horrible idea. And most of the time because they are dumb ignorants crying instead of thinking and who have absolutely no idea of the consequences of what they want. Most clash problems come in EUW due to the playerbase size. Handling all the players, launching tens of thousands game at the same time is a big deal, that cannot be handle by just throwing more servers in it. It most likely need a deep restructuration, and all while maintaining a high level of stability, all the time for the rest of the services. For the teambuilder thing, I must say I didn't understand as well. They said they didn't want to force the top/jungle/mid/adc/supp meta, that's way they didn't want a forced teambuilder, yet 2 years later, they did it. The thing is, if it was not asked a lot (it was asked a little though), but there wasn't a lot of voices against too, and since then the problem of "I said mid first" completely disappeared. So was it a bad thing? Even as a defender a exotic compositions, I'd say no. No one, or almost, asked for TFT, yet the game is still popular. People were asking for free skins. A f\*cking lot of people. Lootboxes were an acceptable response to that demand. It's free content, why are you crying about it? For the achievements, it was asked. However the way it was asked was bad, and they modified them accordingly to there goal, not changing the main objective. As far as I know, most missions are achievable just by playing normally. The scrapping of IP for blue essence was to make it fit in the hextech loot concept. Not to mention that the crying of players complaining they were having less IP/BE than before was complete bullshit as it was calculated the exact opposite. As for what you want, it is even more laughable how stupid people asking that are. A transparent punishment system? It will only allow griefers to slip through the cracks of the detection system easily. A reward system for positive players? Ranked rewards? Box and keys? Do they exist? Dealing with trolls efficiently? Yeah, I'm sure Riot want that too. How do you do that, at a scale of millions of games per day, without any mistake? If you have the solution, I'm pretty sure everyone want to know it. You could sell your solution of millions of dollars, go on, don't hesitate. Sae thing for balancing the game. The more the game is complex, the more it is hard to balance. Go try to balance it yourself, we'll all laugh at you when you will fail miserably. But I agree with your last statement, ignoring the history of the game is a bad thing, as well as ignoring the reality of it, and you are currently doing both.

So there has to be an explanation as to why my jungler from my latest game refused to drake when my bot lane was roflstomping lane constantly right? They had like what, 4 opportunities at a free drake and he just went back to farming. So that's just a bad game right? It must be definitely. > I think your examples are insanely exaggerated. You don't bring any examples as to how this game is even remotely fun though. You just go on about the game being without actually stating any situation where the game is, in fact, fun. I for one don't enjoy when I get stomped, when I stomp, when I counterpick or get counterpicked, or simply put I don't enjoy this game at all anymore. To truly enjoy the game in S9-10 more than in S5-6 is probably impossible. You legitimately have to be insane to actually like this game over what it was in the past. I don't know if that's your stance on the current state of the game, but by god I hope it isn't.

Give a list of the banned words (most of which are literally already known so we basically know the list anyway). : > No. Not even close. I've seen people flaming in many languages getting pulled up for it after a manual review. The automatic ban was right, because of the flagging, however after a simple review you can see that the person is just talking in a different language on a MULTI LINGUAL server. If they are to enforce this then they need to have a rule that stipulates that the only language to be used is English. Yeah i think people need to duck because the point just flew over your head The IFS will handle common words in other languages, its going to suffer with any more obscure references, for example if i start calling you a plonker or a prat the system isn't going to be familiar with these, it will also suffer with some slang terms, it also can't really handle more creative insults like if i typed "I had intercourse with your maternal figure last night" as none of those are trigger words, its very very easy to circumvent the IFS while still making it painfully clear to a human that you're taking the piss out of them, which only a manual review would actually catch assuming they were paying attention > Or, publish a list of all words and phrases that are not allowed. You mean literally give me a list of things not to say to entirely avoid detection by the IFS so i can insult people without having to worry? :P > I've had players wish cancer on me and my whole family and nothing happened to them. Because cancer won't be on the zero tolerance list on account of it having other meanings outside of an illness, just like aids won't be on the ZTL dues it it also being an actual word, which means that people who wish those things upon you will be given a standard toxicity punishment rather than it being escalated to an instant ban meaning you might not even be able to tell they were punished as chat restrictions aren't visible
It's literally dumb to ban someone for using a "bad word" that means something else in their language. This is why context should sometimes be taken into account. There are no rules that enforce a "no language other than english" rule, so he has every right to use that word and he shouldn't be banned for it. The system did correctly ban him, because it means something bad in english, but the manual review should have unbanned him.

: How many more days do we have to suffer? We're losing it Riot?
Well, it's Riot, what do you expect. They released TFT and guess what, even after a week of its release their servers are still crashing. In some servers I wouldn't be surprised to hear if the game is literally unplayable. They even disabled 2 other gamemodes just so things can run the way they run.
: Dear Riot
I agree with almost everything if not everything. Games have become 3x as chaotic as before, to the point where it becomes a clown fiesta. Top lane stomps or get stomped, mid lane is literally stomping simulator 2k18 for assassins, and bot lane begs for jungler because few adcs have enough damage to fight at this point. I feel like Riot discourages solo play (something like solo carrying or 1v9) so much to the point you don't actually win by your skill, but by how lucky you are in matchmaking. I don't feel like this should be happening. There is almost no diversity in lane and Riot literally mixed the roles up, and we have ended up with adcs being extremely weak, and tanks backing up the damage the team misses by not having an adc. I loved league, but I just don't know anymore. The way this game is going, it'll get extremely unfun in like 3-4 patches. Just please riot, wake up and start doing what is needed for the game to survive.

: Urf, the gamemode most desired by the playerbase
I mean, yeah, many champions are broken in URF, but that's the point. What would you have thought would happen if you take a champion, then remove mana and add 80% CDR? Of course, Riot has thought about this and added extra move speed and 25% tenacity to everyone by default. You don't want to see what would have happened if that wasn't added as normal URF stats. In short, you cannot balance URF. The only way you could have balanced it is make champions deal like 20 damage per ability, and I don't think Riot has reached that level of balance yet.

: Near impossible to climb
Same down in Gold V, where everyone, including me, is bad. Way before adcs were nerfed, when comebacks actually existed, I had lost more games than I can count. I can't count the amount of games I could have won for free and my team got 1 inhibitor and then started roaming around in lanes aimlessly, until we finally teamfighted and lost because the enemies just hugged towers and farmed until almost full build. It's almost as if people relax when they see this easy game, and stop trying. How many games where my team couldn't actually play, to the point of me thinking that they're not just having a bad game, because it's impossible for someone to have a team that constantly does BAD, If you see the mistakes we make here in Gold, you'll actually want to quit League forever. And I don't even want to improve at this point, because I will ALWAYS have someone to do horribly in my team, while the others are having their best game ever. It's just tiring to watch and I can't keep going like this.

: Since quite a while I play {{champion:105}} bot, and I know what "DAMAGE SUPPORT" is... {{champion:555}} damage is a JOKE. A bad, racist, sexist, anti-fun joke, that no one will laugh at, if you tell it at the party. The only reason he is viable, is because he has STUN, HOOK, crazy mobility for roams and a get-that-penta ultimate. Perhaps you talk about a game, where he got 5/0/0 for 10 minutes. But tell me one champion that is not OP with level/two and an item ahead of you?
And that damage won't be a joke when he flanks your adc which has 1500 max hp. Sure, he kinda falls off late, but his damage against squishy champions (which are usually carries) shouldn't exist.

And 3 years before that. But hey, league is more popular than ever. And the popularity is STILL growing, despite everythig you said. Reasonable conclusion is that riot is doing something right, to attract fresh blood, while people like you leave.
That only happens because Riot rewards the new, and forgets the old. If you have spare time, make a new account and get it to level 10. By then, you will have BE equivalent to me also leveling up 10 times, and the ones you get from lvl 1 to 10 are basic capsules. My friend has a level 5 account and he already got Pyke, while I'm halfway through. It just gets annoying how I'm playing this game for 6 years, and Riot never thought "hey, this player is old and loyal, why not reward him for it". No, instead they reward the players that just joined and who might quit in like 10 days.

: Early surrender in ranked should not be penalized at all or have reduced lost of LP.
So, let's say that your midlaner in this example ended with 2/5/0 because of the jungler's camp. You also say he is a good player, so does he deserve to lose LP? Your points are flawed and would just not work. You can't calculate who actually deserved to not lose LP, because the player can get a bad KDA because of his team. So no, this shouldn't be implemented.

: I had a game yesterday agains't a YI who ganked me lvl3 double buff at 3min. It's even faster than before. I thought he would take more time to do this jungle so I pished but he's actually faster now. "Reduce jungle pressure".
I've been maining yi for quite some time now. My route is usually Blue-Frog-Wolves (that would usually give me level 3 so I can survive) then with the W health do birds with smite and eventually red buff. Maybe some like to rush for the buffs, but I don't jungle this way and also farm a lot more than gank. With the removed attack speed bonus and "reworked" mana regen by that item, I can barely catch up to the Health I lose by basically everything and have to recall by the item I do wolves, which puts me to a great disadvantage. Jungle should be done any way we want, and not have a specific jungle route which we are forced to take to survive. Yi's powerspike is late game, but if the early game isn't made for him, it'd be hard to carry or even play. So, this patch, champions with a huge level 2 powerspike will dominate the jungle and all I'm left with Yi is top lane until they revert exp or buff it.
: New jungle No TNX
Yep, 3 camps and not even level 3. This effectively makes some junglers like Yi so useless early game, that you can easily counter jungle with no danger if you kill them once. Played one game with the changes, decided to never play jungle again. Thanks Riot for effectively demolishing an entire lane.
: Master Yi
I'm a yi main. First of all, why let Yi get fed in the first place? Your jungler should be invading him 24/7 so that he doesn't farm and get less items. Yi is a heavy farmer on the jungle and he usually doesn't gank unless a lane is pushed really hard up. Secondly, the "can't stun him he kills me in 1 second is invalid". You shouldn't be close to a Yi with 3 items which you know is fed and can burst you. Focus your cc on him and it's over. He isn't OP, just people miss their stuns or they use all their CC first and Yi comes second and cleans up. He's fairly easy to kill in fights if you know how to counter him, so no, he's not OP.
GLurch (EUW)
: >I always get bad teams. Simple as that. Almost every game I play ends in failure because bot and mid lane just goes 0/5 at 10 mins, I get a good score then attempt to 1v9. I don't understand how every player in my team has a bad game, and every enemy has their best game. What are the chances? This also happens in ranked, but less often. The chances for that to happen are very low. You'd need to have really bad luck. The MMR system matches you with and against players who have the same MMR you do, after that, it's mostly random who ends up in whose team. If you're performing good, the chances for your team to have bad players is even lower than for the enemy team, since you'll only have 4 possible bad teammates, while the enemy has 5. It's basically really unlikely for that to happen, so it's much more likely you're being biased or something, by being affected for example by negativity bias or perhaps you're overestimating yourself. Negativity bias is when you are getting an equal amount of good and bad players in your team, or maybe even more good than bad players, but the bad players just stand out more to you, making you feel like most players you get are bad. With overestimating yourself I mean exactly that: Maybe you believe you're better at the game than you actually are, meaning you'll perform worse and are blaming it on your teammates instead of on yourself. Of course, the only person to really know what the case is is yourself. I'm not really good enough at the game to judge your plays or anything. >Riot seems to have forgotten about old players. I have created a new account, and to my suprise almost every level I get spammed with skins, BE and champions that cost 4800+. What's the point? I get like 1 champ per week, but a new player who is level 10 enjoys multiple expensive champions for free and a lot of BE by basically playing 20 games? What even is the point? Riot answered this question in the preseason update FAQ: >**I’m already level 30. Will I retroactively get the leveling capsules for climbing from 1–30?** >No. Remember that the new leveling system is a replacement for the IP you get after games now. You already got rewarded for all the games you played when you leveled from 1–30, but it was in the form of IP. So new players aren't going to get anything you didn't already get for playing the game. >It will still take new players a long time to climb to level 30 and get the 30 capsules along the way. If you spend that time instead on your level 30 account, you'll get a bunch of capsules as well and you'll be well on your way toward unlocking one of the exclusive cosmetic rewards at the milestone levels. https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/115012640908-Preseason-Update-FAQ >Also, another thing I'd like to add that has already been adressed multiple times (I'm certain) is purchase refunds. You get 3 per account and nobody tells you they don't refresh, so I ended up using mine on 450 BE champs ( of course when I did waste them, we had IP and it's been years). However we want players to feel good about the content they purchase, so we developed the refund feature to give every player a solution for those rare situations where they purchase content and quickly regret it, and are sure that they will never want to use that content in the future. We’ve explored granting more refunds at times, but discovered that the majority of players would prefer free content instead, so each year we have steadily increased the amount of content players receive just for playing the game. Also, this is my definition of "bad" http://prntscr.com/jbic6f

All I have to say to this is simply the fact that new players don't simply get new champions out of capsules and BE, but if I remember correctly it rewards them with champions when they simply reach for example level 6. I already know that I've been rewarded everything from my climb from level 1 to 30, but it's just the fact that it gives much more stuff than simple capsules.

: you flame because you are a toxic player. everybody gets feeders sometimes, but hardly anybody gets banned, do you know why? it's because they are not toxic players. I have never been punished for toxic behavior, none of the people i play with have ever been punished either. If you have been suspended your behavior, you have some serious anger management problems, forget about the game, consider seeking professional help before you hurt yourself or others.
"professional help" Who do you think I am? A pshycho? No, the only anger issues I have is when I play league and find yasuo and kayn on enemy team.

: Riot do not pay me anything. I made this post because people need to chill. I have seen some of your other posts on similar threads and they are only inciting toxicity. Please refrain from such comments and show Riot some respect as they are trying to fix these issues. {{sticker:leblanc-funny}}
Why not talk about champion unbalancement. I don't understand how you people can keep yourself together when you find 1 champion every single game that one shots you. I've just been banned for this and I know I'll keep doing it. Until the final ban. And I'll know its not my fault.

: I feel you.But unlike you i dont flame if they feed or they play poorly idc about that.I wanna flame really hard if they blame on me for their mistakes.Thats what really piece me off. But i dont care what you do even if you troll your problem but plz dont blame me.I really try to hold myself but i dunno how mutch..
Same happens with me. This happened after hours of anger building up. In the end you will not be able to hold if you see a kayn one shotting you. Or even vayne and yasuo.
