because male gaze. LoL has a highly maculinised audiance, even compared to other PC games. social isolation and anxiety are widespread, making it difficult for many to meet girls irl.

It means it will give you either AD **or** AP, depending on what you're building (not both). Most champions start with bonus AD with those runes. If you buy {{item:1052}} , you'll gain bonus AP instead. Suppose you have {{item:3031}} and {{item:1026}} in the same build. You'll gain bonus AD, because you have more AD than AP from items.
Oh, ok makes sense. One question- if i play Mundo, will said mastery grant me AD bonus if i build no offensive items at all, considering mundo get bonus AD from masochism?

It was a different philosophy. The stories were simple, boring and... well... mostly shit, because they were not creating a universe. They had a game based on a vague story of something something. Now it's completely different. Lore is has important, if not more, than the game, League of Legends, itself. For example, when making a new champion, the first thing Riot creates is its background. I lively recommend reading the stories. Some are longer than others, so don't be discouraged if you one seems too long. Here are a few of my recent favourites: [Darius Comic](https://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/comic/darius/bloodofnoxus), [Vladimir Short Story](https://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/story/art-is-life/), [The Watchers](https://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/story/the-eye-in-the-abyss/), [Principles of Strength](https://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/story/trifarian-legion/) and [Darkin Lore](https://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/story/twilight-of-the-gods/). The last three are quite long. ######I have a bias for Noxus, but most stories are really good reads.
One more question... what does it mean that a certain mastery is adaptive?

Before I answer your questions, I suggest you start by reading what reworked champions do differently. You can find the list here: [Champion Update Schedule](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/202294884-Champion-Update-Schedule). Then familiarize yourself with the new [Runes System](https://leagueoflegends.fandom.com/wiki/Runes_Reforged). Everything else, eg new champions and items, will come with time. The best way to understand what Neeko does is to either play her or watch videos. Also, she's not a support. No more cheap wins by messing with your opponents' muscule memory with unconventional runes? Partially correct. As I said above, the Rune System changed. They combined Runes with Masteries into a unified system. It's does pretty much what both those system did, but now it's streamlined. That said, you need to know what every rune does, so you should at least read each and every one of them. We can now edit Runes on champion select, so you don't need to have multiple rune pages. In other words, if you know exactly what you want each game, one rune page is enough. The IP currency (Influence Points) merged with BE (Blue Essence). Everything you could buy with IP you'll now buy with BE instead. How do you earn BE? By leveling up. We don't earn IP/BE per game now, only XP. On average, about 10..12 PvP games should be enough to level up. Also, we get as much BE now as we did IP back then\*. ######\*Unless you play more than 6..8 games per day. *** > [{quoted}](name=PreemptiveMuting,realm=EUNE,application-id=39gqIYVI,discussion-id=L5xvEoYl,comment-id=,timestamp=2019-03-07T20:46:27.624+0000) > > Of my 3 favoruite toplane champions Shen, Sion and Mundo, which will be the easiest to pick up in the current enviornment? It's just a matter of catching up really :) I would suggest something else too. If you're into Lore, then now it's your opportunity to start reading. Riot has been updating their lore and it's quite good. You can find all of it here: [Universe of Legends](https://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/). To find every piece of art, ["explore the universe"](https://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/explore/everything/newest/) instead (you won't find some of the stories otherwise). Finally, there's something else really cool too, now. [Click here](https://map.leagueoflegends.com/en_US) and be amazed :D Welcome back! {{sticker:katarina-love}}

Well, save for AP Yi back in the day before his rework. Oh, btw.... how is Master doing?

: Question for the ADC mains, overly passive supports?
i do not understand the question. in many situations this is how you play. Janna and Soraka almost always play like this. If the enemy have a huge minion wave, even aggro supports like Leona will play like this. Because engaging in a huge wave is, well, a shiit idea. Accept the fact that in some situations playing actively will not get you fed, but your lane opponents fed instead.

: Autofill
time for some old folk grumbling: back in the day when there was no role preselection and roles were decided by pick order, everyone knew they would be a last pick 20% of the time, and most likely relegated to playing support when this happens. players with one functional hemisphere understood that this means they have to learn something about the least popular role to play it at a decent level. Then the role preselection came, and most people got SPOILED by the thought they would never have to fill again. Sadly queue times were absolutely off the hook and something had to be done with this. Autofill was introduced. being autofilled is by all means the same thing that being last pick used to be, but hitting about 4 times less often. However, the wisdom of "hey, i will have to play the least popular role from time to time" evaporated. every time you get an autofilled player trolling you, do not dispair over your defeat, rejoice in his. For this guy is a jerk and a moron.

rule of the thumb is: whenever a player is owned by a champ X, there is a possibility of him calling champ X easy. Simple psychology- this creates a narration within which the said player can both explain his defeat and still see himself as a player of superior skill. Seriously, i have seen EVERYTHING being called easy. including the damn Zed. I recommend not fiving a guck about it.

: Janna changes are underwhelming
nope. the goal of the changes was not to "tune down" Janna. She was tunned down several times over the past 2 years and all this time she was one of the most meta defining champions in LoL. And Riot had had enough. The goal was to BREAK HER LEGS, nerf her into Kassa-bin. She was an obstacle to the existance of diversity. so she nas recived season 4 Elise treatment. Back then Riot just thought "Holy crap, this girl was so powerful for so long and no indirect changes managed to move her out of pick-or-ban spot. So.... let us essentially kill her, and revisit her once we have an idea for her". This is exactly the same thing that happened to Janna right now

: >and refuse them entry? Yeah, and do you have a workable idea on how to do that? To rule out the usual suspects brought up by non-professionals in the field: * IP Bans are technically useless * So are MAC Bans _(can be circumvented within 30 seconds...the MAC adress is hardwired into the device, but the one transmitted is determined by the OSs Network Stack, and that can be changed by anyone with Administrator Privileges)_ * Phone ID would be economical suicide in a F2P game So. Any ideas?
why would phone ID kill the game? everyone has a phone number (at least everyone who owns a pc) the effort to sign up is miniscule.
: In deasperate need of a support brz-silv
do supporting yourself. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to be worse than bronze support. rly, this is how i climbed out of silver early this season. By the mere fact of queuing up as a support you reduce the chances of getting "autofilled into support, now i troll" kiddo in your team to ZERO. this alone will make you climb, as bronze and silver are full of trolls.

: I downvoted you as well, because your assumptions are preposterous. No, I am not obligated to ward your jungle. I have approach paths to my lane that I need to have warded, in order to be safe from THEIR jungler...because other than some people, that guy might actually be doing his job instead of QQing about his laners not babysitting him.
every time you go to the buff camp, may you find it empty.

Rismosch (EUW)
: So let me get it straight: The laner is supposed to play living ward in the jungle, lose a bunch of cs only because the jungler can be counterjungled? You realize that this makes the laner fall behind? If you actually watched the video you see this: Mundo played good, Sejuani played bad. Things could've gone alot better if Sejuani hadn't screwed up the gank on bot. Saying that it's purely the laners fault for her stupid gank is just ignorant.
even if she did not fail gank bot, all she would have found would be raptors and red gone. and in the next example the opposing jungler DID NOT EVEN TRY TO GANK. And yes, you are supposed to play a living ward in the jungle till 1:42 AND drop a physical one after if your jungler requests so. You do NOT miss cs by doing so. oh, btw- do you also refuse to leash because "you would miss cs"? EDIT: i assume it was you who downvoted. tit for tat bro

this is also true, however keep in mind the following: no matter how much you peel for a bonobo high on acid, how much you shield it and how many times you ardent them, this is still a bonobo high on acid
: I think in high bronze/low silver people are less likely to want to play support, since you "dont add anything to the team". In higher elos supports carry games and know how to peel, so you feel much more useful. I'm in low gold and it sometimes happens here, but much less than it was in bronze/silver.

ok, more seriously. Mundo Has pretty much BAD early game, unlike most jaggernauts save for Nasus. It does not mean that he cannot farm properly, in fact he is one of the easiest champions to farm safely with. But untill lvl 5 he won't kill anyone who does not straight up BLUNDER against him. So, if Mundo has 6 kills by 15 minute mark, this means that something in the game went horribly wrong. And, truth be told, if any damage dealing toplaner gets 6/0 by this time, you are in big trouble. {{champion:24}} {{champion:92}} {{champion:39}} {{champion:114}} {{champion:41}} and even the damn {{champion:122}} - once one of these gets 6/0 score, you are in a heap of trouble. An the heap is as big or bigger than in the case of{{champion:36}}. And they have more tools to put themselves ahead. This is why mundo is considered weak now.
