: I sent a ticket with the following descriptions: "I tried accessing my old account but, when I try to log in, it remains stuck on "Authenticating...". I can't even undo the operation as I need to close the client to try again. I noticed the following strange behaviours: - Every time I open the client and try to log in with this account's credentials I get a messagge asking to change my password for security reasons. After closing it I can try to log in again, but that gets me stuck on "Authenticating...". I tried both to change the password as requested and try again after changing password and ignoring the request and trying again without changing password without noticeable difference. - I can log with the account on the browser site BUT, when I try to access the League of Legends forum while logged in with the account, I get "HTTP ERROR 500". This happens not only in the euw forum but in every other as well. - I had created another old account previously that I have never actually used. When trying to log in with that account I can play the game normally, access the forum normally with no strange behaviours. I asked in the forum help with the other account I mentioned and I have been suggested to send a ticket while adding the following information: #I added the info you suggested to add here I hope to get a response soon because I recently wanted to start playing again, without taking into consideration that that account has over 600 matches played and some money spent. I'm adding one of the client logs." #I also added the log I linked here

Current workaround for this issue: First log out of boards and then log out Riot Support and re-log in the Riot Support :)

Hello Torkl If you're a windows 10 user and have recently done the windows update, then the DirectX issue comes from that. Just update all you graphic card and sound card drivers to fix it. Sometimes you have to uninstall and re-install/re-update those drivers. Client crashes are normaly happening because your network had a bad connection to the League of Legends servers, thanks to that your game were not able to patch correctly. Some crashes are related to windows system files. Computer restart is basically a refresh to your computer systems :) Most issues are always either player network or computer sided. If issues were League of legends sided, we all would be having issues.

To update drivers: * Press **windows button** on your keyboard, next to ctrl * Type **Device Manager** and press enter * In the Device Manager, click on the Display adapters and then "right click" on your graphic card to update it. Do the same for sound, though you should update everything in the Device Manager. What computer do you have?

: I did reboot my computer and repaired client and tried to redeem the skin but it didn't work. Also i tried to login from the support "An unknown error has occurred. Please wait a minute or so before trying again" i have tried to log in the support first when i got the issue over and over again and i did also try to log in it now but it didn't work, i did log out from the boards and tried to log in the support but it says only that message.
Have you tried sending the ticket on another topic? Also try multiple browsers.

Hello dannylee97 Have you tried reinstalling League of Legends, it's possible that some of your League of Legends files are corrupted now. Downgrading your windows won't help at this point and windows 10 normally forces the latest update few months after it comes out. With windows 10 updated, also make sure that all your graphic card and sound card drivers are updated :)

I'm sorry, i missed that small detail. I looked you up at [Op.gg](http://euw.op.gg/summoner/userName=Riptorned) and it seems that you have 80% win ratio and you have not played ranked last season, your ranked MMR is currently very high and the game belives that you're able to rise to a higher rank. But i think when players join League of Legends ranked, they can't reach higher than gold in their first season 10 preliminary games.

On your monitor should be power and menu buttons, sometimes they are the same. If your monitor uses VGA connection to the PC, it has automatic screen adjusting settings. --- By the way, is League of legends your only online game that needs adjusting? If that is the case then we have been looking this from the wrong side. You can try the following: * Close League of Legends * Go to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config * Delete **game.cfg** and **persistedsettings.json** * Start League of legends and check your screen in a custom game --- > A wrenchman suggested a workaround to fix your issue, just use a lower resolution in the game. 1366x768 for example and you should no longer have those black bars. I currently have no more to suggest for fixing your issue with 1440*900.
