The jungler can't just come top on demand to help you; that's not how the game works. Ganking takes into account many factors; the lane state, hp and mana of all players, big cooldowns, buffs, powerspikes (especially item spikes and level 6 powerspikes), jungle pathing of camps, the enemy junglers pathing and your intel on it, are you blue or red side, .... So if you want a gank you need to set up your wave (using wave manipulation / wave management) to a favourable state IN RELATION to your jungler's camps respawn timers. If, for example, you are blue side and your jungler started red -> wolfs -> blue -> gromp -> scuttle and recalls, then it is physically impossible for him to gank top for the next two minutes. It's just not possible because he can't just walk through his empty jungle to path top (I mean technically he can, but he is going to fall so much behind the enemy jungler in terms of farm that he basically died in terms of gold and xp). So there are certain windows in which it is possible for him to gank your lane; if during those windows the wave is in a state that allows for a gank and the enemy has no vision, then and only then a gank can happen. And now take into account the enemy jungler in case of counter ganks. If the enemy jungler is there as well (and your jungler might know that especially in the early parts of the game because junglers usually track their counterpart) and you can't win the 2v2, then your jungler can't gank either. You might think he is trolling but in reality he is aware of the enemy junglers presence and doesn't gank so you don't both die to the counter gank. I could go into much more detail about everything but I'd be wiriting a book i feel. All I want to say is that the jungler can't just be where he wants and do what he wants at any given time. If you want a gank you need to manipulate your wave correctly at the correct time. What that means depends on the top match up, the jungle match up and even mid priority as well as hp/mana and cooldowns of all involved champions. The reason people tell you to play Garen is not because people think you are to stupid to play Irelia when you are Silver 4. It is because playing Garen will enable you to think about all the stuff mentioned above and focus on it instead of thinking about what buttons to press, how to combo and manage your passive stacks and Q resets. If you play Garen and don't know what to think about you are probably doing something wrong because there is always a million things to think about in this game. Playing Garen will enable you to understand the game better and learn some fundamentals that still hold true if you change the champion or even the position. If you play Irelia and learn her mechanics... well you do just that. But that won't improve your understanding of the game at all.

Bad CS'ing is really easy to fix and does a lot. Getting your CS/min from 4.9 to 6.9 for example would amount to 60 additional CS in a 30 minute game. 15 CS is approximately equal to a kill; so just by improving your CS'ing (6.9 is still really bad on a champ who waveclears so well) you effectively get 4 more kills in a 30 minute game. You complain that you are stuck in Silver because of your teammates but the reality is that Irelia is considered a champion with high 1v9 potential especially in low elo. TF Blade demonstrated that pretty well when he got to Challenger on EUW by spamming Irelia and Jax. I don't know what you want us to do. Pat you on the back and tell you "Buddy you're doing just fine. It's all on your teammates and you have just bad luck!"? Which would be lying?

: You seem to completely neglect the point of what he wrote. He is not saying you should be godlike in a week, he is telling you how and why. As a new player myself, posts like Bananenschnder's are the ones you need to take in and digest. If you just get offended and blame everything on your teammates, especially when you are new to a game, you will be stuck forever.

If you were so good at the game that you could learn that champ in only one week, you would not be in Silver 4. As has already been pointed out your farm is terrible. It is notoriously easy to farm with Irelia because her clear with Tiamat is insane. Still you average 4.9 cs/min when you should easily get >7 on that champion. Also you average over 8 deaths every game with half as many kills. You can't blame your team for that one at all; even if they all suck and feed there is virtually no reason to die so much. > [{quoted}](name=Skenoj,realm=EUNE,application-id=00edEA0o,discussion-id=oAAx9TVt,comment-id=00020001,timestamp=2019-07-07T16:56:53.321+0000) > > i hate champs like darius, garen and these champs that dont need skill The point of playing these champions is to stop playing champions and start playing the game. You pick an easy champion to actually learn the game. But you seems to have no interest in that. Which is fine - but then don't complain about how your team is holding you back from climbing when in reality it's your attitude.

: I am not a good player myself, but let me add some points: * I don't see you or your team taking herald; you can even solo it when opponents are away and it is a must take objective. * You seem to die more times early and I guess it is either due to early ganks or too much aggressive play. Try to atleast stop the opponent top laner getting fed. * Use your tp to help bot lane, especially when opponent didn't have tp. Even if you don't get kills, you can get drake. * Play easy to play champs and focus more on macro; split push, group, have good vision control and play for objectives. * Imo you're buying boots late. Top lane can solo carry games in low elo and that's why you should be always even or ahead of your opponent. In my view, your cs is better, and if you play little safer early game, you can get a good cs lead and then you can get kills+objectives in mid-late game.

: die less, cs better, cs is more important than kills and so are objectives, and stop playing irelia. if u wanna get out of silver easy you're gonna need to play simpler champs like jax and darius
