: Hey hell for noobs, What kind of connection issues are you having? Explanation would help :) Thanks in advance!
It's very similar to packet loss, except it feels like the server receives my packets and I don't receive the ones from the server. I can still play, but it's basically like playing with no animations.

: Hey, oddly enough my steam game updates today took longer than the league one did last time. Sometimes the other way around o.O (while having around the same sizes) Personally, not being a tech wizard, i would assume it has to do with a few factors, one being the patch server you actually connect to (iirc most games have a few different ones) and the connection quality/route the traffic takes at that time. Now, i agree that the patcher/launcher/client need some work in League, but afaik that is already in the works (a post from RiotDraggles announced that some Months back, no ETA or anything tho, just a "working on a new client" thing ^_^) Did you experience any other Issues apart from "just" slowness of doom and darkness?
apart from the always existing "launcher doesn't want to connect and blames your net" bug I don't really have other probs. BTW you're super nice and deserve honors in gemz and also thanks for the info on the "new client thingamacding".

: [ITEM SUGGESTION]Link of Preservation - Band of Preservation - Potion of Preservation
I like it, I really do it will make saving your carries much simpler from say a Jinx ult or a Cait ult, however there are a few issues that I feel like these items will have. What I mean by this is that: A: what if there is a large amount of lag between the two allies? this could cause HUGE problems with one just spazing out and not knowing what the fuck is happening. B: it's a really troll item, LIKE REALLY FUCKING TROLL. C: it would take a lot of coding, animating and trial and error to actually get this thing working correctly. D: after all that coding and time put into the item, what if rito dubs it just too OP? Because this is REALLY OP, especially in pro play I mean a support can kill himself in a fight to save a carry with minimal, to no effort. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All of this being said it's only my stupid opinion which means nothing in the long run so TL;DR cool idea maybe a tad bit too stronk for my taste, but hell it might happen

: Ranked teambuilder is underway. Also, pings should be more than enough to communicate if you face a language gap.
Not what I mean, The person who was in my game and refused to communicate, we would have won a lot more fights if he didn't decide to ignore me when I said Hey dude, you can use my W to dash to me, instead of doing what I told him or telling me "OK I'll try he" just sat there and made cricket noises

I noticed that you said nothing about {{champion:89}} because FFS she's one of the hardest, if not the hardest supps to lane against BECAUSE SHE HAS 3 FUCKING STUNS no, not OP trust meh

Well I'm not amazing enough to win vs Leona and Draven on average with her and BTW Jinx destroys Vayne in lane
: > But what if you're not like Bob, what if you are good and you're also a nice person? In that case, you win more games and rank up. Being a jerk was just one example of the many possibilities to lose a game despite being brilliant with some directly measurable skills. > you get a good team maybe 10% of the time Thats not true. On average, you get an equal or better (than you) team in 50% of the cases and an equal or worse (than you) team in the other 50% of games. Unless you are not in the league you belong to. If you are actually better, your team will be worse than you more often..but the same applies for the enemy team. Since the enemy team has 5 of these players and yours has only four and 1 player with superior skill (you), you will win more games ---> you rank up. It's a mathematical fact that you will rank up on the long run, if you are actually better than your teammates. It doesn't mean you will be able to win every game, but your winrate will be slightly above 50%...which is enough to rank up. Just think about your statement. Lets just assume you are actually better than your teammates in 90% of the games like you said, i.e. better than your current elo. So there are 9 players in the game who are not as good as you (at least on average). So why are you not able to win? The enemies are as weak as your teammates, why can't you win against them if you are better than your teammates? If you are better than your teammates, you are also better than your enemies, because thats the elo you play on. I tell you why: Because you are not better. You just think you are. And you are not alone with this. Just look at this: http://imgur.com/NKebd8r Do you see how basically everybody thinks he should be in a higher league? As you see, it's not an uncommon phenomenon, it's normal. But you have to admit that these people can't be all right....it is impossible that everybody is better than average. You will also notice that the lower leagues tend to overestimate themselves way more (the lower the rank, the more people think they should be higher). You know why? Because thinking it's the other peoples fault you dont rank up, is part of bad skill. This way of thinking prevents you from getting better, thats why it's more common in low leagues. If you want to rank up, you will have to get rid of that attitude.
Y'know you were right because I just played a whole bunch of solo queue and went on a MASSIVE and I mean MASSIVE tilt but my last few games heve been total stomps like whole team being 5/0 stomps, and boy did it feel fucking amazing to get the dust off and play the old aristocrat {{champion:67}} and win match-ups that were pretty much unwinable by sheer dumb luck or just random burst's of skill

I will admit maybe the overhaul I suggested is a bit overkill, but there are definently changes that need to be made in the actuall matchmaking because you get a good team maybe 10% of the time, which is not fair at all Bronze and good / nice with that name? Anyway, if youre decent at the game you can carry up to gold purely with mechanics. After that you have to be good to carry to plat with pure mechanics and to diamond u have to have godlike mechanics. (this considering you know nothing about the game and can't group or do anything of the sort) Otherwise it takes even less :)
Dude my name was a poor choice when I startded LoL, but I just don't have the paitience to save up 13500 IP
Kitsy (EUW)
: So by your logic here, if you have a very good laning phase where you kill your opponent over and over because you are snowballing, wich leads to you winning the game, then your opponent is clearly a feeder and his team should not lose LP? There is a big difference between intentionaly feeding and just beeing outplayed and having bad luck. You should start looking on how you can improve yourself to win games, not look for the blame of others.
While I understand where you are comming from, why is it that every fucking time, rito's matchmaking system makes my team mates unlucky and me lucky ? it's just not fair and something needs to be done
: Yes, it does. SoloQ is all about the skill to win a game with 4 random strangers...so that's exactly the skill the league system measures. Let me explain this with an imaginative, super-extreme example: Bob is a mechanics god. He always has good stats, he wins his lane in 80% of the games and he barely dies. Sadly, Bob is a huge jerk. He never helps teammates, he doesn't communicate, he is arrogant, he blames others, he flames, he never helps other lanes...so although Bob definetely is very skilled and could shine in a premade team, he is not able to win a lot of games in SoloQ. In your system, Bob would rank up although he is not very skilled in actually winning games. Higher rank means better enemies, so Bob will lose even more. So suddenly we have a player who almost never wins and basically is a guaranteed defeat for his teammates. In other words: Bob destroys the matchmaking and therefore the fun for a lot of players. Matchmaking is supposed to create 50%-winchance games (aka balanced games) for everybody. So you have to look at peoples skill to win a game, that's the skill that counts. And in SoloQ this skill is "the skill to win a game with random strangers"...if you measure something else, you don't actually measure the important value and won't reach the 50%-for-everybody goal.
But what if you're not like Bob, what if you are good and you're also a nice person? and the other players are bad and are jerks? I will admit maybe the overhaul I suggested is a bit overkill, but there are definently changes that need to be made in the actuall matchmaking because you get a good team maybe 10% of the time, which is not fair at all

: There is NO ELO hell... You are where you belong.
So I belong with feeders and trolls when I don't feed or troll ? kinda broken logic don't you think ?
: It's a team based game, so ofcourse it's the teams performance.
I understand that, but then what's the point of solo queue, and what's the point of solo LP it makes no sense to punish someone because their team is bad
