: A suggestion for those who're discouraged by not making the final 16: don't take Riot's writing/forum staff as the ultimate authority on creative writing, grammar, or fantasy fiction. I gather it was a subjective judgement based on fairly narrow criteria in the context of a single fantasy universe (and in fairly stressful circumstances for the amount of content they had to review); not being top 16 doesn't mean your writing is poor, nor are they necessarily the best source of constructive criticism. Case in point: some official League lore isn't particularly well written - or in any case could be improved upon - and the writers' use of English isn't always perfect (there are multiple errors in this announcement post!). _This is in no way intended as a flame towards the staff._ Fanfic competitions are a great idea and take a lot of thankless effort to organise, especially with so many entries and in such a short time period. Just don't feel like Tolkien or R. E. Howard has personally trashed your work if you didn't win. Hell, if any of you want some advice from a random internet person I'd be happy to comment on your entries.
Could you please check my story? I've added an extended version in the comments, it might look better, than original one. [The original article.](https://boards.eune.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/fan-fiction/ETrWa6GO-never-one-contest-entry-the-only-friend)
: – Whoa, you're alive! – Tristana said when all yordles came closer to survived comrade. – And engine is pretty much intact! I'm impressed. – Shut up! – Veigar shouted. – Of course it is intact, because I looked after it! And you'd better... – Watch out! – Poppy yelled and pushed engine away right before giant spikes appeared from the ground. A new threat had entered the battlefield, descending from the mountain ridge. A metal giant, equal in height the ancient rocks it just scaled was approaching the Bandle city defenders, ready to devour everything in its path. The titanic four-handed leviathan far outmatched the monstrous machine, which yordles destroyed with so much effort. Only a miracle could save the day now, when most of mechs were damaged, some of them – maybe even beyond repair. – Alright, I think I've got a plan, – said Rumble. – Teemo, advance further and put traps on his way, Tristana, you and I... – Step aside, – said Veigar, walking towards a new threat. – And watch how a real wizard gets the job done. He pulled one of magical rods from his costume and launched a tiny bluish-green orb at his enemy. Then a dark spot appeared under the robot, and Veigar launched two more bursts out of his main weapon. When all blasts had reached the monster and dark matter from the sky fell on it, the titan exploded in a spectacular purple blast, leaving only scorched fragments flying in the air, like a horrendous fountain of half-molten metal, where one of the most feared entities in the world once stood. Soon after the eruption had stopped, gigantic hunks of metal fell from the sky in an incredible hailstorm. Part of mechanical monster's jaw had landed near shocked yordles, nearly crushing them. – You're welcome, no thanks needed, – said Veigar, breaking the prolonged silence. – Uh, wow, – Tristada replied, still awed by this performance. – Was that a deathfire grasp? I thought was removed. – And I thought, I told you to shut up! Rumble! I'm sick of doing your dirty work! I'm on my own now, and I'm going after that wizard! If any of you will dare to try to stop me, I'll blaze... But a large laser beam interrupted him, ripping the very skies apart with a deafening roar; after a mere seconds of this assault, nearly half of fortified laboratory got completely disintegrated. – Oh, no... This is it, – Rumble said, – the incarnation of evil intent made a reality. Indeed, it was. A gigantic floating mechanical monster, encased in unbreakable armor, constantly waved its tentacles in the air, shooting blasts of energy out of their tips. A large red eye on its front burned menacingly, charging up before next obliterating assault. – What?! – Veigar yelled. – I'm the greatest evil here, not this floating garbage! – Heimer, ideas? – Rumble asked, ignoring his other comrade. – Well, if we would combine power of dark matter engine with hexplosives from stashes left in the field, we could launch it at center of that monster, – the scientist replied. – Then we might have a chance. – It's my device! – Veigar continued. – And I'm not going to... – I'm on it! – Ziggs said. – Let's stick all that stuff together, Heimer! Corki, Lulu and Poppy had spread out to collect as much explosives as was possible, while Tristana, Teemo and Rumble kept floating mechanism busy and distracted from Ziggs' and Heimerdinder's work on making their last weapon. It was finished soon enough, right in time to make a final assault. Flying monster continued its approach, albeit being slowed by three heroic warriors. The time had come to end this battle once and for all.
– Is it ready? – Rumble asked through the transmitter. – We can't hold him any longer! – Everything is ready here, – Heimerdinger replied. – I'll mount that beauty and lead it to the destination, – Ziggs continued. – It should be fun! – Granted, – said Rumble. – Just make sure to evacuate at least half way to the monster, or you will get caught in the blast radius. – Ye, ye, whatever, – Ziggs replied, getting in the pilot seat. – Engines primed! Blast o- But his words were cut short, when Veigar suddenly hit him in the head. He then threw incapacitated pilot on the ground and took his place. When Ziggs woke up, rocket had already launched, aimed at the glowing core of flying monster. – What the heck, Veigar?! – Rumble yelled. – I don't know, what you're up to, but you'd better to explain yourself! – Shut your trap, fool! I always have a good reason to do anything I want! And now... I've actually done it for Ziggs, – he even started to sound less arrogant and irritated. – I'm sorry for hitting you, but I couldn't let you do this. The dark matter engine is absolutely unstable, if it will get too far from my grasp, it would explode. I can't let you just die for nothing. Ugh... I hate to admit it, but you've actually saved me that time in Zaun. You've let me out, even knowing, who I am, even despite all my evilness. Thank you. You're the only person in the world, whom I actually think of as a... f-friend. Farewell. The rocket reached its destination and a giant vortex had swallowed the metal monster whole, obliterating it and clearing the sky. Seeing his most dangerous subordinates destroyed, the defeated metal general had summoned a subterranean transport to make a quick retreat. Moments later last mechanical parts had landed on the battlefield, ending this battle for good. It was a victory for yordles, but at cost of life of the most powerful wizard in the entire world. – I can't believe, he sacrificed his life to save us, – Tristana said. – I thought him as an ordinary jerk, when he appeared to be the true hero. – If not for him, we all would be dead by now, – Rumble admitted. – I think, we say few words in memory of him. Ziggs? – Yes. He was good guy, he liked to blow stuff up. I liked how he could always survive in situations like this, like when he got grinded hours ago. And now, just look at how he built that giant death robot from scrap metal, using his magical engine! A villainous laughter echoed like a thunder above the battlefield. When heroes turned at it, they saw new threat – a new formless floating metal monstrosity, operated by none else, than Veigar himself! – Naive fools! You were all tricked by my genius touching evil speech! And now get ready to be put down, where you belong, before I finally conquer the Bandle city as my own! – Well, Ziggs, he's your frenemy, – Rumble said. – Any ideas? – All mechs are repaired and ready to go, – Heimer added. Ziggs looked at glowing iron monster before him and gave it his wildest grin. – Let's wreck 'im! - - Sorry for having it divided in several comments, the story just didn't fit otherwise. I hope you liked reading it.
: – Rumble, this camouflage is fine, and all, – said Teemo, – but does my hat have to be so bright yellow? As if it was made to make me an easy target. – He-he, yeah, – Rumble replied with smirk on his face. – The new yellow goggles are awesome! – Ziggs laughed. – But they are kinda tight. – It's because you have put them on top of your old ones! Come, let me help you... – No! – Ziggs yelled, pushing him aside. – I like it this way! – My jacket looks like a lab coat, – said Heimerdinger with admiration. – Although I don't quite understand the point in this book. The symbols inside seem to be completely undecipherable. – Well, it's, ugh... – Rumble started thinking. – It's for a reason, I guess. I forgot what it was for, actually. – Say, there's one more suit left, – said Tristana. – I hope it's not for Kled? – No, he would definitely deny the call, as well as Kennen. They are too busy with their constant fighting. It was made for... – ME! – A sudden scream had startled all heroes. They turned towards it and saw Veigar, who was clad in glorious shiny armor of purple metal. The suit was adorned with all of most powerful magical rods, which looked like beams of darkest sun; on the front side of his new hat was a pattern, which looked like a grinning face. – Oh, no, not this guy! – Tristana whispered to Rumble, covering her face from Veigar. – Why do we have to hang out with this jerk? – I heard that! – Veigar yelled. – He is actually the most powerful wizard there is! – Rumble replied in whisper. – And he seems to be the only person able to operate his dark matter engine. And we might need that, if things will get out of hand. – Why can't we just use hextech, like normal people do, and not this junk? – Hey! – Veigar's eyes turned red. – If Teemo is not mistaken, our enemy might have a deep knowledge about hex crystals, – Rumble replied. – He might use some new device to simply blow them up, making us powerless. This is exactly why we needed a backup plan. With these words he went to the newcomer to greet him. – So you've decided to join us after all? Very good. We've made a perfect heroic costume for you, it'll... – I'm not part of this nonsense! – Veigar rudely interrupted him. – I came for that arrogant mage, who wishes to sap my authority and attempt to conquer Bandle city before me! Where is he?! – He'll come soon enough. You can use this time to check the mech we made for you. We've just finished it at Thursday and... – I'm not going to mount your metal monstrosities! Only feeblings such as you use this junk! – Feeblings? – Ziggs asked. – Yes, feeblings! Each and every one of you! Only Lulu here is somewhat worthy of my presence, for she is able to use at least some kind of magic! – Gee, thanks! – said Lulu and winked. – And you will pay for that! None dare to take my ecological niche!! – Veigar yelled and pointed angrily at her with his iron fist. – Come now, let's chill for a while, – said Rumble, putting Veigar's hand down. – We'd better use this anger against our common enemies. Now, guys, mount your vehicles! Veigar, if you would be so kind, would you please look after your engine, to keep it safe and sound? – As if I would let anyone else do this! With these words Veigar had opened a seemingly invisible hatch, entered large humming container, and slammed the hatch shut. Immediately after that engine had emanated several dark beams, which connected to Ziggs' exosiut's circuit, powering it up. – Nice! – commented Rumble, giving a short whistle. – Okay then! Let's get going! The yordles had entered their war machines and went out of hangar. They took defensive positions in arc around the valley entrance, ready to strike anyone, who dares to invade their land. The enemy didn't make them waiting. In a middle of the ravine a single person appeared, holding a glowing metal rod in his hand. The invader's body was completely covered by thick armor and dressed in long dark coat; his shoulder-mounted ray-gun glowed brightly with the same red color, as his cruel eyes. – Am I missing something, or this is Victor? – Rumble asked. – Well, it is definitely one of his creations, – Heimerdinger replied. – But knowing him I doubt that he is behind this. Maybe his automaton went rogue? – We don't have time for conversations! – Poppy yelled. – Let's smash him when he's vulnerable! Without hesitation she had thrown her suit's empowered shield, but it simply bounced back, deflected by an invisible, yet incredibly powerful force field. The fiend let out an evil laughter, which sounded like a screeching of metal in a roaring grinder. The next moment an infinite hoard of mechanical warriors poured in a valley, like a crushing mass of water, which just broke through a dam. Brutal scorpion-like tanks, armed with dual chainsaws, backed by small, but powerful artillery units, attacked relentlessly, knowing neither tire, nor fear, as their mechanical comrades fell one by one at the hands of heroic yordles. Bandle city defense force was ever powerful, and iron monsters had almost no chance against them. It took them long time, yet little effort to dispatch most part of enemy's army in a day long battle. But on the next morning, a hulking six-legged tank appeared, its engine roaring, and gun crushing everything in reach. The giant, way larger than any of yordle mechs, was one of most feared creation of mechanical genius known in the Runeterra. – First – unending horde, and now this! – Rumble said. – I can only hope that this would be the last obstacle between us and that guy. People! This monster is too dangerous! Staying apart is way too dangerous now; he could just blast us one by one, if we are not careful. My suggestion: we merge and battle him as equals. His teammates agreed without hesitation. Rumble was not only their leader, but also the most experienced mech rider, after all. After several moments of incredible transformation, all exosuits merged in one giant robot, armed with hammer, shield, flamethrower, bombs and propellers, turrets and force field. This was truly a sight to behold: a large mechanical warrior, operated by the whole yordle hero squad. And so, they attacked the monster, which threatened peace of their homeland. His barrage of deadly bullets, which would normally pierce through a meter-thick stone wall, was deflected by indestructible shield of yordle super warrior, who replied with a crashing blow of gigantic hammer. But enemy machine had dodged with no effort, and unleashed a bullet hell upon its foe, accompanying it with dangerous acidic caskets. Most of them spilled the deadly chemicals only upon the timely used force field, but when yordles went too close, dangerous blast was launched from inside the field, which was supposed to protect them. Acid spilled all over the hull, dealing quite damage, especially to the leg units, which it flowed upon. Seeing this as an opportunity, the mechanical fiend unleashed a surprise attack upon the yordle force: large shotguns, previously hidden inside each of six trunk-wide legs, shot at its opponent, obliterating the weakened joints. Yordle supermech fell on the ground, almost defenseless against never-ending brutal assault of monstrous machine-gun. The monster's own force shield was powerful enough to prevent any distant attack. Only a well-placed hammer slam could have a chance to damage the titan, but the bullet storm made it difficult to do anything, except for quickly moving the shield to block the attacks. – Use flash-bangs, now! – Rumble yelled. – Cover your eyes, guys! A sudden blast in front of monster's face disturbed his aim for just a moment, but it was enough for a next strike. – Strike at its legs, and then pull it closer! Poppy executed the order instantly, and hulking monster fell right next to lying yordle supermech. Their force fields collided in an incredible vortex of now almost unpredictable power streams. But, most importantly, Rumble's module was now pushed against monster's hull. A burst of flame in its visor had covered it with soot, a well aimed blast of stunner burned the force field circuits, leaving enemy machine defenseless. – Now, whack him away! Trist, get ready to snipe him as he flies! Poppy spinned her hammer and launched the monster far enough to get out of most dangerous range of its weapon, while Tristana launched a sticky grenade at their foe. Several well-aimed shots would leave a hole in place of monster's head, but it was not going to happen. Mechanical titan had launched its most dangerous weapon mid-air, a grappling hook landed right in the middle of power module of supermech. Roaring engines in the belly of the beast had pulled maimed robot towards it with irresistible force. Supermech turned over, its sniper gun crushed upon a rock. Even rocket engines could not overpower the brute force of their enemy's pulling engine. – There's no other way! – Rumble yelled. – Disassemble! Ziggs, Veigar, escape the module, and we will back up your retreat! The modules had separated to become autonomous units again. Ziggs jumped out of his nearly destroyed exosuit right in time to avoid otherwise imminent death, but the dark matter engine, with its operator inside, got pulled towards mechanical monstrosity. In a mere seconds in was devoured, and a terrifying screech of metal ripping through metal had pierced the air above the battlefield in a deafening cacophony of squeal and roar. After a few seconds of this horror, a completely unexpected thing happened: a powerful all-destroying explosion of all hexplosives and dark matter combined had torn the monster to tiniest bits, sending his peaces flying all over the place. The only thing, that remained, was dented, mangled and half-grinded dark matter engine. Hatch on it blew open, and Veigar got out, rubbing his head.
– Whoa, you're alive! : The extended version: In a dark night atop of dark tower in the darkest chamber, furnished with dark antique furniture, on a dark table a dark skull stood idly, grinning grimly while looking with its empty eyes at the darkest wizard the world had ever known, who snuffled quietly in his sleep. Tiny yet powerful, this great villain was resting after a long weeks of travels, and he could've probably slept for days, if he wouldn't be interrupted by the skull, which had suddenly burst into laughter, chattering its teeth. Wizard had thrown pillow at it and cowered his ears with blanket, but it didn't help: with every second skull was laughing louder and louder, until its yelling became completely unbearable. Wizard stood up. The moment his feet touched the floor, every torch on the wall had burst in a dull purple flame. Their disturbed owner went to the table, then poked skull angrily in it's nosehole. – Who dares to wake me from my evil slumber?! – The wizard yelled. – Such disrespect will not be tolerated! Get ready to... – Hey, Veigar! I didn't know you had a phone! Cool, right? – Of course I have a phone! I'm a wizard, not a caveman. Who the duck is calling?! – It's me, Ziggs! Remember? I busted you out of that Zaun prison several years ago! Veigar remembered that all too well. It was, perhaps, the only time, when his evil plan went wrong. And why? Due to a great and sudden misfortune, so unusual to him! The plan was simple as snap of fingers: travel to Zaun, find the most well protected fortress and destroy it with dark matter. No doubt, that the greatest wizard of Zaun must reside there, perfecting his art of alchemy, which foolish inhabitants of city call "chemistry". After his glorious and inevitable victory, Veigar would use this citadel as a foothold to strike at the Piltover above, to acquire secrets of their wizards' magical art, which they called "physics". And then there would none, who dare to deny his evil reign. After hours of boring walking, he finally found the place. The large, dark castle, towering like a mountain in a middle of artificial cavern and surrounded by high metal fence, protected by hundreds of tough looking guards. Of course, they couldn't present any trouble to the most powerful wizard in the world. A few magical blasts would pulverize them, before they know it. But right when he was about to strike, a tall bald man ran by, hitting Veigar and making him fall right into the nearest puddle. Wizard instantly stood up, ready to make this arrogant peasant pay, but got hit again, this time by a large bipedal wolf, which seemingly chased the bald punk. Before Veigar was able to rise again, he was apprehended by guards, robbed of his weapons and knocked unconscious. He woke up already in a cell. He tried to bust out by blowing the door up, but failed. Usually, he could conjure any spell with his bare hands, but this time something has blocked his powers. No doubt, the walls were another masterpiece of his new rival's alchemical genius, which sapped all magic from the prisoner. Even dark matter, spell which Veigar mastered the most, just didn't appear at all. It was going to be a long and dangerous incarceration. Wizard's brain worked hard to find every possible solution to this problem, a way to break through enemy ranks and claim fortress for himself, when suddenly a loud blast, accompanied by a powerful seismic wave, that shook the whole citadel, had blown all his thoughts away. Veigar attempted to distance himself from this noise, but explosions just kept distracting him again and again. Wizard jumped up and ran to door kicking it violently, telling people outside to stay quiet, when another explosion had thrown him to the opposite wall, covering him with heavy door. – Hello-o-o, mister Veigar! – Squeaky voice said. Mustering all his strength, Veigar had thrown the door away. Right before him stood a yordle, dressed in crude armor with green goggles, holding bombs in each hand. – Oh, cool, I've finally found you! – He said. – It must've looked weird, when I told the same thing to several other guys I've busted out. – So, you know who I am? – Veigar asked. – It seems that my genius plan of capturing Zaun's most powerful wizards leaked out due to its supreme evilness before I could finish it. – Yes, and also because half of Piltover above was bombarded by dark matter blasts. Nice job, by the way! – I have no need for your false appreciation! If you know my name, then you surely are another self-proclaimed hero, which come in abundance to end my evil reign! – He jumped up. – Well, then, bring it on! I'm not afraid of nameless miscreants, who dare to think them equal to my greatness! – Oh, right, I forgot! I'm Ziggs. And I came here simply to bust you out, that's all! – What? – Veigar was greatly confused. - So, are you evil too and you want to become my henchman? Then I'll have to disappoint you... – No, I'm not evil, – Ziggs interrupted him. – Don't get me wrong, I respect your magics and stuff, but that's just not mine. – Then what did you came here for, knowing that you are going to unleash the most spectacular evil mastermind back upon the world? – I just wanted to get you out of here. We're all yordles, right? And we have to stick together and help each other out. Let's go! There's plenty of stuff to blow up yet! And so, he left, leaving wizard alone with his thoughts. Yes, Veigar remembered that day all too well, but not simply because he was saved by someone. That day he felt something new, or rather, something long forgotten. That was neither frustration of his plan's fail, nor disappointment in his own recklessness. It was a feeling, which made him think better about someone else but him. Was it… appreciation? This feeling was very annoying. Many days passed since then, and Veigar did his best to get rid of it, returning to his normal evil self. Now the only thing he felt towards Ziggs was a frustration, for waking him up in the middle of the night. – You mean, when you've ruined my plan on capturing their fortress along with its most powerful wizards? – Wizard answered. – I was planning to destroy it from the inside, when you've suddenly burst a hole in it! – Yeah, that was a good time. So, are you going to join us? – Who "us"? – The new super team of Bandle city defenders! We've got robots and explosives and stuff! – Not interested. – Come on, we need a dark matter operated engine, and you're the only person, who can possibly make it! They say that it can be used to... – I knew it! – Veigar interrupted him, slamming his fist on the table. – You, beggars, just wanted to abuse my powers for your pesky little quarrels with your feeble foes! Well, I'm not going to twitch a finger for your stupid plays! Farewell! – Oh, come on, Veig, we know you like to fight villains! And there's going to be a huge one! According to Teemo, he's coming from Zaun with a huge army, to conquer Bandle city. He might be that wizard you're for. – Ha! You won't buy me with such nonsense! And he shut the skull's mouth, before Ziggs could say another word. Several days later, on the outskirts of Bandle city, yordle hero squad had a final meeting before battle, in a large hangar, build specifically as both technological lab, workshop and an indestructible fortress, to protect the only land entrance to the valley - through a ravine in a mountain ridge - from any possible invader. When all heroes had attended to meeting, Poppy had suddenly noticed a rather large package, hidden in the nearest brush. Inside was nothing else, but dark matter engine, delivered here by pigeon mail. Everyone was surprised and interested by this device. It promised to be a valuable addition to their armament, with one little flaw: it had neither holes, nor cords on it, and no other visible way to be attached to any device. Rumble only glared upon it skeptically and sighed. – It seems he made it completely inoperable, – he said, shaking his head. – Heimer, will you be able to stick it somewhere? – Indeed, – he answered after a brief examination. – It will require some time to make a reliable connection, but it would fit nice with Ziggs' module. The only problem is that this way the device might become even more dangerous to operate. – Fine by me, – Ziggs replied with creepy giggle. Rumble had wanted to tell him something about it, when Teemo had suddenly shown up with report. – The mechanical army is approaching. They'll be here in several hours. – Alright then, to the final part of our preparation, – Rumble replied, coming closer to a group of objects, covered by white cloth. – For the past weeks I've made you train in strange devices. Many of you were confused by it, but today I... – Come on, Rumble, we looked under the cloth, – Tristana interrupted him. – Really? Whatever. Ahem, behold! He pulled cloth off, revealing the line of new shiny and badass looking exosuits, one for each of participants. – This mechanical suits, or "mechs", how we call them, are designed specifically to match preference of their owner. Feel free to get inside and check them out. But before that, you should also try this on! With these words Heimerdinger had brought in a hanger with superhero costumes. – Light, durable and stylish! – Rumble continued. – Just what hero needs! Come on, guys, put them on! His friends didn't make him waiting and changed in minutes. Their new suits fit perfectly and made yordles look both flashy and powerful.
– Rumble, this camouflage is fine, and all, – said Teemo, – but does my hat have to be so bright yellow? As if it was made to make me an easy target. – He-he, yeah, – Rumble replied with smirk on his face. – The new yellow goggles are awesome! – Ziggs laughed. – But they are kinda tight. – It's because you have put them on top of your old ones! Come, let me help you... – No! – Ziggs yelled, pushing him aside. – I like it this way! – My jacket looks like a lab coat, – said Heimerdinger with admiration. – Although I don't quite understand the point in this book.
: Never One Contest Entry: "The only friend"
The extended version: In a dark night atop of dark tower in the darkest chamber, furnished with dark antique furniture, on a dark table a dark skull stood idly, grinning grimly while looking with its empty eyes at the darkest wizard the world had ever known, who snuffled quietly in his sleep.

: I would like to clarify, we didn't assign 'ranks' to people in order of how good we felt their entry was. Rather we listed the entries internally by chronological order of when they were submitted, and by that, I can tell you that you are listed internally as contestant number 146. Looking at the entry, I can tell you that it doesn't quite fit the 'partnership' theme, that was laid out.
I see. Thank you for your criticism, I'll make sure to keep that in mind and try to do better next time.

: #More good news Everyone on the finalist list will receive something, the top 3 winners will still receive the announced rewards but the remaining 13 will receive an Emote. The original plan was for it to be a random Emote, but since we're taking in suggestions from the finalist we might as well let you decide as long as it is available in the shop. However you can also choose a random Emote and have a chance to receive an Emote not currently in the shop, the decision is up to you. Congratulations to all the finalists, and remember to tell us which Lunar Revel skin you'd like, and also which Emote or if you prefer a random one instead. Once we know what you want, we'll be able to send out the rewards as soon as we know who the winners are going to be. *** #2nd round entries It seems a lot of people are interested in finding out who the 49 entries who made through the first round are, while I could do that, I'm concerned it might have a negative impact on the 123 who didn't make it, or the remaining 33 who didn't progress beyond the final round. It was incredibly difficult for us to run the 2nd elimination round when all entries were of a consistently high quality. The first elimination round we used were focused on the main criteria for the event: theme[partnership], creativity and grammar. A single entry was disqualified for exceeding the word limit. I personally don't feel comfortable singling out entries who didn't make it, it was pretty obvious how much work was put into this from the vast majority of contestants, so if you could come with some arguments to why it would be a good idea, I would really appreciate it.
Well, although people might get further disappointed by knowing that they are not even in first 49, I think it would be better to let the 49 know their rank, to inspire them to continue working. Personally, I would like to know my rank, even if it is #172, just to know, what should I do. In fact, It would be great for every author to receive constructive criticism on where he/she made mistakes in the story, but I understand that this is not possible to write a full critical article for every story in any contest.

: (Champion Concept) Erizon, the Lone Wanderer
Your idea for a champion is very good, but judging by his lore, Erizon seems to fit a support role much better. A tanky support, like Braum or Leona, but with heal, spectral weapons as bonus damage sources and all that.

Well then, here is my suggestion: Passive: "Star seeker". Every 20-12 (based on level) sec Carrie finds a star nearby. Being near star increases Carrie's spd by 10%/15%/20% and mana regen by 10%/25%/50%. Stars are still pretty small and don't act as obstacles. They can be destroyed by enemies, causing an explosion for 50/100/150 +15%AP magic damage in a small radius. Q: "Star emission". Carrie causes all stars in medium range to give a bright flash, dealing 30/50/70/90/110 + 40%AP magic damage and blinding enemies hit for 1 sec. W: "Star prominence". Carrie causes one star to emit prominence in a chosen direction, which deal 40/65/90/115/140 + 50%AP magic damage, reducing enemie's def and mr by 5% + 1%for every 100 AP. E: "Soothing light". Carrie causes all stars in a medium range (but smaller, than Q) to emit healing aura, which heal allies for 20/40/60/100/120 + 30%AP each. R: "Alarming discovery". Carrie discovers a black hole at target location. The Black Hole pulls all enemies towards it in a series of pulls (1/sec) and deals 100/200/300 + 20%AP increasing to 300/500/700 + 40%AP magic damage, based on distance to the core. Black Hole lasts for 5 sec, then it dissipates due to excessive Hawking radiation. It can instead be an "Amazing discovery" with supernova, which first deals 100/200/300 +60%AP and then acts as a star, but with double bonus to all Carrie's abilities in double range and triple hp amount.
: Relaunch [Champion Suggestion] De'Seis, The Void's Precursor
I like your idea, especially about portal opening. But I'd like to point out something about his ultimate. If people would be able to enter the Void, then closing all rifts would definitely leave them trapped inside, instead of suddenly teleporting them to freedom. Instead people trapped there might have to find some way to teleport back, or create a small rift to get out, and until them they will either receive DoT, or be assaulted by void creatures. Also, 1sec CD on ult is a bit too low, if it is a rift stack recharge time, and if not, then what recharge CD is? And about lore: it is good and interesting, but farmer would likely use simpler language. Anyway, I like your idea, keep up the good work.
Rioter Comments
Turuncu (EUW)
: [Champion Concept] Turuncu, the Druid
Your idea in general is good, but you will have to nerf "Healing Touch" and "Beast Shape". +100% AP on heal is much larger, than AP modifier even on Soraka's heals (65% on W and 55% on R), and dodge chance on "Beast Shape" will have to be removed completely. At some point of time Ninja Tabi gave 10% dodge chance and even that led to disastrous consequences, and Riot had to deny the idea completely. Adding one rank on this ability is also a bad idea: imagine getting on bot lane and being instantly assaulted by a raving monster hidden in the brush. But, as I've already said, your idea is good. If you will write his lore and give some info on his looks, concept will be complete.
: Champion Idea: Opal The enigma
Your concept is very interesting, kit is interesting and lore have an aura of mystery, but I'd suggest several changes to make kit fit better with lore and be more balanced. First of all, you need to specify numbers on her passive's stacks, because they are the backbone of her whole kit. You will need to balance between recurrent damage from auto-attacks and burst damage from detonation. Let's set their maximum amount to 5 for a time, damage amplification to 1%/1.5%/2% per stack and equal lifesteal bonus against marked enemy. Q: Pulling soul out won't work, sadly, because it is one of Illaoi's signature moves and any ability, which looks too similar, will most likely be denied. I can suggest this as a replacement: "Soul hook": Opal swings a hook attacked to her knife and throw it in a straight line, ripping out part of soul of first champion hit, lowering their spd for 20% for 1 sec and gaining decaying shield for amount of damage dealt. W: Towers are completely out of place and will have to be removed. Opal is a sneaky little assassin, not an engineer or an undead mage. Possible replacement: "Spectral dagger": Opal throws a low damage dagger in a straight line, applying death perception stack on first champion hit. (Dagger's cd is less, than stack decay time.) Hitting enemy, that has max stacks on him with this ability will cause them to explode, dealing heavy damage to single target and applying 2 stacks to enemies around it. E: Evading enemies, while also auto-attacking them is a bit too op, while applying stacks on enemies, whose abilities you've avoided sounds impossible in case of not targeted abilities. Instead it could be a medium range dash, that applies two stacks on enemies Opal passes through. R: good in general, but making her invulnerable to later make her untargetable is too much, while reapplying all detonated stacks sounds simply unfair. After 0.5 channeling Opal can just run her enemies through in straight line, dealing increased damage based on amount of stacks they have. I hope you will find my suggestions useful. I like your idea and would like it to fit well in League.
Corvi Rees (EUNE)
: New champion Titos the pilgrim of the sea
Your idea is interesting, but making his Q as a stance changing ability is a bit too much. Stance switching abilities are usually ultimates (Heimer, Nida, Elise). They either enhance other abilities for period of time, or give three other abilities, sacrificing themselves for it. In your case you both get six abilities instead of three and ultimate. You can leave Q as weapon changer, such as Jinx's Q or Kayle's E, but it mustn't affect other abilities. If his ultimate is dealing low damage, such as Anivia's ultimate, then its fine, but slowing is kind of out of place. Whirlpools don't work this way - they move things caught in them in circles, while also pulling them to the center. You could play on it, increase damage, but make it active only for several seconds. But in general, your idea is very nice, keep up the good work.
: (Champion Idea) Yovian, The Formidable
Your idea is very interesting, but presented abilities in cohesion are not making a formidable champion, but a raid boss. Things don't usually happen as you plan them: imagine him using offensive E and Q, and then switching stances. He will become a full tank with up to 25% lifesteal after dealing fatal blow to a half of enemy team. And, when everything looks already totally horrible for them, he will use his defensive W and get 80% dmg reduction from three sides. Would you like to play against such a champion? I doubt that. Also, his stance switching is making his kit too heavy. You see, when champions have ability enhancing ultimates, they usually get either temporal boost or switching between two balanced sets of abilities. In Yovian's case almost all of his abilities are either dealing lot of damage, or CC, or making him nearly invulnerable. This would be good, if he was a main character of some other game, but in League of Legends everyone has to be mortal. Of course, I don't know, what will be Riot's opinion on your idea. Maybe they will like it and keep all eight abilities, just nerfing them, but I doubt that. I suggest reallocating several of his abilities instead: defensive W as passive - having frontal damage reduction for 5/10/15% offensive Q as Q, but with much lesser AD modifier; defensive Q as W, but without AD and AP modifiers and pushing back a little instead of slowing; defensive E as E, but with short dash and piercing strike of his sword, armor+mr reduction on single champion hit, no knocking up; offensive E as R, but with slow on enemies and pulling them towards center, as if Yovian made a crater by the impact; larger range, overall damage must be less than of Galio's ultimate. This will do fine as a kit for a balanced champion. You should also always create a lore for your champions, because it might actually affect how their kit works.

: [CʜᴀᴍᴘCᴏɴᴄᴇᴘᴛ] Wɪʟᴇʏ, ᴛʜᴇ ᴅᴇsᴛʀᴜᴄᴛɪᴠᴇ ɢʟɪᴅᴇʀ
Although your idea is very interesting, adding W as a kit-changing ability is, most likely, impossible. You see, such ability type is usually used for champions as their ultimate (Heimer, Nida, Elise, Shyvana), and it is actually the point of changing: to make someone stronger for a time, or just different for a change. But using it as a normal ability will give him huge boost, because he still has a place for giant one-shotting ultimate. Sadly, you will have to either make Takeoff as his ultimate, or use it as a single dash type ability. It can give him short spd boost or immunity to roots. But in general, your idea is great, and all abilities and their alternate versions fit well with each other, forming a complete image of character. I hope my words won't stop you from developing this idea further and writing lore for him. Keep up the good work.
: [Champion Concept] Ark, the Traveller
Your idea is very interesting and kit is great. Although some abilities have a bit too many features, and would probably get nerfed, if Riot will decide to make your champion, I think he will fit very nice in League of Legends world. All you need to do is to write lore for him, and concept will be finished. Keep up the good work.
: In before that "Colourful Champion" is fully announced.
Well, idea about paint trails is actually pretty good and interesting. But his ultimate looks a bit much; making several brush sweeps, cast like Rumble's ultimate, would be fine. Again, idea is great, you should make a lore for him, and give some info on his looks to finish this concept.
: Great idea, but I feel the passive is plain bad... someone first reading it (and then Q for that matter, which is another issue) would assume this is for an adc or jungler (more of an auto attack based {{champion:76}} ) Maybe have the passive giving supplying the drones (in place of mana)? Just a quick idea Also the Q I find would be a bit of a problem: Its either: Dont use abilities much and become an ADC OR Use your abilities and become vitually useless late game without your drones as you wont be able to do much as a melee support with little cc (or damage{{champion:555}} While I am criticizing it quite a bit(sorry) I myself cant think of an alternative... Great idea tho and I could see it working really well if refined a bit more
I can give an alternate idea for several abilities. Passive: "Owl's nest". every 7/5/3 seconds Ezra generates an Owl drone unit, and she can store up to 10 units; each drone unit increases Ezra's def and mr by 1%/1.5%/2%. Q: "Nightfall". Two of Ezra's drones are attaching to her shoulders and let her fly for 3 sec, while leaving trail of dark mist; allies inside this mist are cloaked, enemies are shortsighted. If ability is ended prematurely, drones are refunded. While ability is active, drone boosts are doubled. W: "Eye in the Sky". One of Ezra's drones becomes invisible and act as a ward for 30 sec. If drone is discovered and destroyed, it will attempt to go for its destroyer's eyes, acting as a fast moving entity and ignoring unit collision until flying the distance needed to reach its target at the moment of last hit on drone. When drone reaches this destination, it explodes in a very small radius, dealing 10/20/30/40/50 + 20%AP magic damage and blinding enemy champions hit for 2 seconds. E: "Cover". Ezra send out up to three drones to assist her ally. Each drone is healing her ally for 10/20/30/40/50 + 25%AP and boosting their def and mr for double the usual amount for 3 sec. R: "Deployable Expanded Nest". Ezra puts DEN nearby, which instantly creates 5 drones and add new ones every 0.5 sec (up to 10). Drones then circle the area, increasing every ally's def and mr for double the normal amount and attacking all nearby enemies for 10/15/20 + 10%AP with each shot (1.0 atk spd). While in range, Ezra receive bonus 30% cd reduction on non-ultimate abilities and can use all available drones. DEN can be destroyed. After 10 sec DEN is getting out of power and self-destructs, dealing 100/150/200 +50%AP magic damage in small radius. I hope, you will find this suitable. P.S.: The numbers can be changed.

You mean, suggestions about current abilities' numbers, or you would like to have completely new kit idea, but with the same main theme?
: Ah YES! I am all for it! But what would the church of Pastafarians say? ;)

: New Champion idea / concept (Damara)
Both of your champion ideas are very interesting, and could actually make for two different characters. But I'm not sure about hag's W; although idea sounds nice, it might be too much for players to bear. Imagine her spamming that W on her opponent in ARURF. It could be safely replaced with silence, if it is not a long distanced ability. And yet again, your ideas are great, keep up the good work and don't forget to make lore for her/them.
YetAnohter1 (EUNE)
: Champlol idea: Mordac, the Preventer of Information Services
As a fun theoretical kit, this idea is good, but all of his abilities affect the sacred aspects of League we all want to be left undisturbed.
AryanOwl (EUNE)
: New Champion Idea - Hellumy ( The King of Astral World )
The idea is very good, especially because it is almost completely unusual to League. Although we have Kayn with his possessing, in your idea it takes a completely different form. Also I think, that his R should put more debuffs on enemy. Hellumy will almost definitely be played as support, and this ability will leave his adc in 1v2 situation for 3 seconds, while he is in enemy's body. Everything else is great, keep up the good work, and don't forget to make a lore and sketch for him, to make this concept complete.
JellyDonut (EUNE)
: Champion Idea
Well, kit by itself sounds interesting, but leaves several questions. What "halve its cooldown" on W means? Does it halve cd for champion, who used that ability? His R sounds a bit op, but if he would absorb damage for a second, and then send it back, in, say, dodgeable fire bursts, it would be ok. But even then, you should not just make a kit without story. You see, lore and kit must be thoroughly connected, to make it look smooth.
: New Champion Suggestion (SUMMONER BASED)
Imagine a Frankenstein monster made out of Yorick's passive, Heimer's Q, Azir's W, Mao's E and Tibbers. Although it would be op, it definitely sounds fun. But not if you're against it.
LordChampa (EUNE)
: New Champ Idea: Carrie, The Stargazer (Non Zoe/Cancer)
The idea of this champion sounds very good, but you shouldn't add too much features for champion's passive. In fact, Star Dust and Star Glow could be passive parts of her Q and W respectively. Also, her passive is based on her Q. This is very unusual for League champions; in fact, it often happens the opposite way: for example, Yorick's passive lets him make graves, and his Q is expanding it even more. Zyra's passive lets her Q and E make her W grow into plants, etc. Also, Carrie's E might become too dangerous. Imagine her using it on Lux's or Caitlyn's ultimate. But in general, your idea is great for 100% support character. adding lore and artwork would make this concept truly excellent.
: Groin-Master builder
The idea is great, but both lore and kit need some polishing. First of all, "Thror" and "Fundin" are names from Lord of the Rings franchise, and you'll have to change them. For now, let's call him Th. Second: Oorn and Volibear never actually met, and Volibear is not a god. He's a bear, from bear nation, that lives in the northeast part of Freljord. He's also considered a good character, while Oorn is apparently neutral, so they have no reason to fight, even if they will ever meet. Th's E looks too similar to Kled's Q in unmounted form, and probably won't make it to the complete version. Although slowing and pushing back is a good idea for an ability, especially if he'll be played as support, shotgun might not fit well logically. Turret repairing ability sounds great, but it existed once in other form: Heimerdinger gave passive hp regen for nearby turrets. I think, that Riot had a reason to remove it, and they will probably do the same here. His R looks too much like Xerath's in 3 shots part and GP's in using large artillery, that is stationed who-knows-where and covers all map. If you are interested, I can suggest the following corrections for those abilities: E: generally the same, but with hammer swing instead of shot, shorter but wider attack cone. W: passive is the same, but active would be placing a small fortification (sort of similar to Yorick's W) nearby. It won't disappear over time, would lower incoming damage from enemies and slow their movement. R: Th will pull a giant rock out of the ground and smash his enemies with it; also, other idea: W: active would be toss of a smaller hammer in a straight line, first champion hit will be stunned for a short duration (like 0.1/0.15/0.2/0.25/0.3 sec) R: Th builds a small runic circle, that can be occupied by any ally, it will boost their def and mr ( 10/20/30% of Th's def and mr) and slow passing enemies for 15%. Apart of mentioned things, idea is very good. After some work and drawing, this would make a great champion concept. And, in case Riot won't add dwarves, you can always just make it a secluded village of mountain dwellers.
Baladrok (EUW)
: Melidise, The banshee
The idea is great, but her ultimate gives me some questions: will her copies attack enemies, or just ram them? Will they simply disappear by themselves after a set time if not damaged, or will they explode anyway? Will they move slowly, like a zombies, or run at full speed? Everything else is very good. All you need now is lore and artwork to get a complete and great champion concept.
: Idea for a Freljord assassin
The lore and kit (after all changes made by you and Doom emissary) are really great, but I'm not really sure if this guy will be an assassin. In your last kit he looks more like a fighter-juggernaut type, because he has no gap closing abilities. In fact, winning in most situations for him would be possible, only if he gets fat, like Illaoi or Darius. His ultimate, I suppose, is his longest range ability, but it has no gap closing either, and he has no burst damage abilities except that. In Doom emissary's last kit he has only his ultimate as gap closer, but in other terms he will need to get fat as well. This way he is a fighter-diver type, and will be built like Kled. I think that both kits are great, and it is up to you to decide, which will be canon.
: New Champion Concept - Arim (Story)
The lore is great, character is developed and well described, but one thing in this story struck me as odd: if people must give one warrior from family, it would be common to see female warriors. People usually die in battles, even great warriors can suddenly catch an arrow in the head. Every second family in their village will have their father dead, and, considering, that they all live in hot spot and have to constantly fight, they don't have much time to give birth to hundreds of sons. You should also create abilities for him, but be careful not to make him op, or copy abilities of existing champions, especially Leona, because she is also a warrior of light, and she fights with shield and sword. Keep up the good work.
: New champion ideas
Well, as a tank mainer I'd say "Nooo!", but as a guy, frequently abused by other tanks, I'd say "Yeees!". Idea is great, but some parts of it make me a bit confused. First of all: he will be a skinny guy, like Lucian, or large battered hunter old-timer, that looks like a bear? Because this will greatly affect his kit, and "Ox" sounds pretty big for a thin man. Second: his abilities will do great deal of damage to tanks, but don't forget about other types of champions. If you look closely on this kit, you will see, that every non-tank champion will get obliterated by any ability in one shot. People generally dislike this, because they want to have at least little chance of survival in 1v1 or teamfight. His E ability will get him full defense from any strong distant harassment, which means he would be completely immortal, unless enemy team has large CC amount. Instead of giving him high damage abilities, you should either add sustain, if he is tank, or various debuffs on enemies, if he is marksman/fighter, to kite his fat enemies, but not too much, so it would be competitive for him to battle against other marksmen. And 100% scaling with anything is always pretty dangerous: Cho'Gath has 100% ap scaling on his stomp, and it becomes an Armageddon in hands of Cho mains with full ap build. But changing numbers and some ability features will actually make Ox fit in League pretty nice. He only needs a lore to be completely ready.
Raspern77 (EUW)
: New Champion idea: Preo
The concept of this champion is very nice, but his abilities look somewhat disconnected. First of all: having an arrow as a weapon would mean, that he is ranged champion, but he can pull himself to enemy, which means he will be melee. Ranged champions usually try to keep the distance. Both Q and W pulls himself to the target. This is a bit ineffective in term of kit usage, you can free one of this abilities for another useful trick. Both W and E are healing abilities, which means, that he have a chance to become completely unkillable. In fact, when Preo is near death, he will just spam his W and E for infinite heals with his 75% cd from passive. On the other hand, this passive doesn't fit with other abilities, because Q and W will make Preo fly around, unable to cast, his W is blocked for 2 sec, when it hits an enemy, and even more: his Q will be blocked as well while W is active, because he has only one arrow, which he uses for two abilities. You also didn't describe, what "Bonds of hate" actually does. But, in fact, I think, that minor polishing of his kit would make Preo a really good champion. But his passive will probably get nerfed by Riot.
Adam Blaze (EUNE)
: Champion concept
The general idea is interesting, but having your champion's abilities too similar to existing ones might cause people to deny this concept. More so, spammable abilities are a very dangerous power, which will be abused by players and might cause your champion either to get permabanned or nerfed into oblivion. But, if you are interested, I have a suggestion on how to polish your idea a little to make it more smooth. It should also make better cohesion between his abilities: Q: not that spammable, and a sort of electric whip strike, that will either reduce your opponent spd, atk or atk spd (pick one) W: instead of having fat mines, you will place invisible sticky traps, that attach to passing champions, probably slowing them; up to three can stick to the enemy, and whip strike will trigger them to deal some damage and slow even more E: long range dash, like Vi's Q, but without delays, slows on you and such, pushing normal minions aside; will stop if hitting enemy champion, super minion or large/ epic monster, dealing minor damage and slightly pushing aside R: if by absorbing damage you mean, that you will just receive it, then ulti is underpowered, and your champion will be killed easily; if he will become almost immortal, then it is overpowered and he will be nerfed; I guess, he could have some sort of deployable artillery with a single long range armor piercing shot, that won't explode, but move much faster, than most projectiles and run through everything and everyone; while deployed it will provide some defense (either in form of shield or def+mr increase) with either energy field or good old metal wall. I imagine this guy to be some sort of headhunter. Also, he probably would be fighter-diver type https://leagueoflegends.fandom.com/wiki/Champion_classes/Fighter with mean harassing abilities. Now all you need is to decide, whether to apply any changes to his kit, or no, and to come up with some background story for him. And always keep a good look on your creation, to develop it from an idea in a fully developed concept.
: Champion concept: Andro and Rocher
The concept is very interesting, but I have some questions. W: will Rocher just stand idly, like ghost poro, or he will attack enemies in close range? No guarding dog is going to just stay idly, while being killed. E: will Andro just get 100% CC immunity, or he will ram in a straight line with no chance of turning back in case he stumbles upon 5 enemies camping in the brush? R: will Rocher just run towards enemy and then stick around, biting target, or there will be any impact damage, as with Rammus's roll? Passive: Rocher's item slots is Andro's passive? It is actually good idea, but then Rocher should be able to act not only as ultimate. But, as I already said, concept is very interesting. If you have any good ideas for his lore, you should write them down and post here as well.
: Champion concept of a Control Mage/bruiser hybrid support
Your idea and champion concept are great! And I think, that long stories aren't boring at all, if they are properly written. Dank's lore is long, because she has an interesting life that is worth telling about. Her kit is also very interesting, even though at first it sounded, that her abilities would remind that of Orianna, Dank's kit looks very fresh and at most different from any other. If I understand correctly, then, in contrast to Orianna's hit-and-run ball, frequently used for self-defense, Dank's magic orb is more like a small outpost, designed to both pushing through and keeping enemies at bay. The only strange thing is, that the game Dank likes to play is similar to baseball, while the way she uses the orb in-game looks more like croquet.

: Hainz, the tax collector
I like your idea for this new champion, both kit and lore, but I would like to leave some suggestions. His passive could, for example, tax minions for 1 gold each, both allied and enemy (or not enemy, if you want), while still getting full gold for kill. This way he could actually make good profit even when poked hard and unable to farm properly. This would also allow him to be played as a support with faster item building. And what comes to way he's collecting taxes from champions, the same mechanic as Singed's passive can be used, as it works both on enemies and allies. And it could also reload on champions, but be single-time on minions. His W is generally fine, but it sounds a little like Olaf's ult with Sion's W, which is kinda op even with large cd. He could instead get spd and dmg up for 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 sec with decaying bonus as first part, and either a small amount shield or damage income reduction for 1.5 sec after it, as if he first burst into rage, but then chills out and starts to be more careful and concentrated for a time. His R's second part reminds too much of a Warwick's ultimate. I'd suggest it to be: ramming at targeted enemy, while pushing minions aside, and then beating his target with single two handed strike from above, stunning it for 1.5 sec. He would travel the set distance (no infinite trains, like Vi), jumping over terrain, but stopping at first enemy champion hit (in case they'll try to block the second part), pushing them aside and dealing halved damage. His cane should remain in place until he retrieves it, or returns to fountain. I also have a question about his E: what do you mean by "smashes his cane in a circle before him"? Is he, like, hitting a ground, dealing an AoE damage in a small circle in front of him? This also don't explain, why would he become paralyzed. I think, that making slow with more range at caned attack and stun with headbutt will look more reasonable. I hope, that my suggestions would be useful. And again, your idea is great, keep up the good work.
Viacan (EUW)
: So they gather extra gold for him and when you click on them, he will collect it? Sounds like a good idea. Tho 1 gold per minion is quite strong. Imagine you were the jungler and your bot, mid and top all had 100 cs at 10 min. 300 gold extra in the 10th minute. Gold income is hard to balance but on the other side it still could be ok.
Pyke's allies get about 300 gold for every champion he executes with his ult near them, so 300 gold from minions in 10th minute is, actually, a really low amount.
: Bring back Ezreal's W burst attack speed.
I've never played support Ezreal, but I've always used W on myself for boost. Will miss that thing.
VieGolem (EUW)
: Why get League of Legends no "Story mood" for Champs.
Idea is good, but adding it as an in-game mode would probably be to massive work for Riot to consider doing it. It sounds more like an idea for special mini-games, or simply other games, connected with League of Legends by lore.
Dyrreah (EUNE)
: In all honesty I'm kinda indifferent about what skins they release. My problem is when I see oh a new skin for Darius! Guess who is getting buffed soon and dominates my toplaners every %%%%ing game! This policy annoys the living shit out of me. Also the hey lux has 3500 skins, I think she needs one more. Jinx went with one skin for like 1.5 years, Kayn for 1 year (and both skins were meh) but Lux got an ultimate skin the star guardian (pretty much based around her) AND the pajama garbage in a quick succession. I know, fan loved champs and shit but isn't it enough? Instead of making 12 skins a month maybe redesign old looks? Nunu looked like a potato for years and it took a complete rework to get a new look. Mundo looks worse then a glitched out caster minion. But hey, dat new Lux skin tho.
Potato Nunu is a good idea for skin, actually.
Rickycek (EUW)
: NEW CHAMP IDEA
Your champion idea and lore are good, but making him rely on minions is pretty dangerous to himself. Both his E and R would just give huge gold income to enemies with good wave-clearing abilities, while his E would also lead Fiddle's crows, Brand's flares and Ryze's Spell Flux straight to him.
: New Ornn skin concept
Yes Definitely Absolutely
: new ideas
Well, the part about orange essence is very interesting and good for players, but it is really bad for Riot. League of Legends is played for free, and orange essence is one of their main sources of money. Second part sounds great, because sometimes players team up in groups of four and forget to communicate with their last teammate completely, making his game much more difficult.
Madnasher (EUW)

The same goes for every type of materials. I once had to convert 15 or so tokens into blue essence.
