Less time consuming. And being harassed by the "?" ping for 10 mintues because, say, someone died bot and you didn't immediatly teleport there to die too? Of course the guy would mute pings too.
Just mute the ping abuser, not the whole team. People that spam pings rarely ever use it for constructive purposes. And then you still see the usefull pingers but usually ppl never spam it, unless its constructive, or if they are mad and they spam it once ( max ping spam and then they stop). Both informations are good for you to know. If you get triggerd by a one time spam on pings per mistake, then you are not prepared for playing league at all.
: Ddosing doesn't work in league. Riot has always had issues after a major patch. They'll fix it... eventually
Why would it not work? Is there a new system in place? I remember that it was possible some years ago.
: Less honor, and his reports eventually not been reviewed anymore. Also not reading chat at all will probaly sooner or later backfire when he will have some decent teammates that calls for SS...which he will never read.
Any normal player should use Pings instead of SS. Less time consuming.
: What is the outcome of banning chat - reporting - not honoring everyone
There has been an instance 2/3 years ago when they perma banned a handfull of players because they abused the report button. Reportedly ( XD), they had an amazing amount of reports compared to other players, got investigated and banned.

: Keep it as it is. I don't need AFKers in my games.
Ppl won't go afk during select, most ppl go afk during loading screen anyway, so it's of no use. And if he picks something that is not available, then he will be kicked anyway.

But what if it saved on your computer, same like LoL replay does? The problem with LoL replay was as i last remembered that it needs to be turned on before you start a match, and then the match would be automatically recorded. So you would need to decide if you will record ahead of time. Then i can also just use fraps. Would be great if i could just play games and then after a game decide if i want to save the replay or not. That way my folder doesn;t get swarmed with unwanted games, but only with the ones i choose. I have recently played HotS and there, after every game, you can click "save replay" and that one replay file will be saved on your computer. You just need to spectate the replay through their client. This seems much more convenient to me. Also because in LoL some times i didn't think of recording a game, and later regretted it when it had many great plays.

It doesn't give an explanation how it works, which i need to deduct if it really will work the way you say it will. And i dislike blindly believing in something. First of all, there is a Reason why not much Information is known on how exactly those systems work. If it was known, it would become alot easier for the bad guys to figure out how to bypass/abuse/escape the system and ultimatively the punishments. Wich is also why explaining these things is not exactly easy im afraid.. :/ The only kind of punishable "feeding" is the intentional one. Someone simply dying alot in teamfights for example will hardly ever be in danger.. Intentional feeding is just that, intentionally dying over and over in most cases. Rarely do those people participate in actual teamfights/teamwork patterns/behaviours.. and those can be analyzed and checked, considering Riot probably has ton's of data in these fields. As for false reports or report abuse, well for starters if you report someone, and the investigation turns out to have shown no rulebreaking behaviour, that would get considered a false report. And your report value may decrease slightly each time you do this. While, if it finds signs of rulebreaking behaviour, your report value may increase. How does it investigate it? Well, to give an example of one of the "simple" ones. We play a game together in SoloQ. All game long i insult you, wish you cancer and i just overall behave like a jerk. After the game ended, you report me for verbal harassment. Now, depending on your current report value, the system either triggers an investigation right away, or flags me for the time beeing. Since quite possibly some other players in that game would report me aswell, let's assume the investigation does get triggered. The system checks the chatlogs of the reported game, and quite easily figures out that i said some pretty offensive stuff in chat.(since this is an easy case and explainable without details of the system and how it works let's roll with it). Aka i broke the Rules and showed toxic, clearly unwanted behaviour. Now, as fast as already 15minutes after the game ended i may recieve a message telling me that i have been punished for my recent behaviour wich was not in line with the rules, (with the appropriate punishment depending on my behaviour) and i get a notification that let's me see what i did. This happens in the form of a chatlog, that shows my missbehaviour. While i can agree that human judges may have an advantage in certain cases, eventually most cases are rather clear, and would have had the same decision made if it was human judges (the system after all learns from our decisions/views on what behaviour is unacceptable), just that the system is faster and has a lower error ratio currently than the human systems had previously. And as mentioned, you can always have your case reviewed after getting punished. However only about 1 in 6000 cases actually gets overturned by a review. In all my time lurking around in these discussions/topics i have only seen very few cases where the system was not able to make the same decision humans would/have made. However, the Tribunal will come back, so that may give you some comfort ^_^
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience and ofcourse taking the time to explain in such broad ways. I can understand that they don't want to tell it concretely as it would make people be able to get around the system. Tho thinking about logical triggers could make it still possible for some to know how to misuse it, even if he is always guessing if it works or not. Automated systems just lack the wittiness to see through such behavior. I felt mostly comforted when the tribunal just filtered the cases, while the behavior team dealt the punishments objectively. The tribunal gives some comfort, but not as much as Riot employees making objective decisions.

: Greetings. Actually the System has a smaller Error rate than any human system had so far. And should there be doubts about a punishment, you can always contact Riot Support to get it re-viewed and cleared up. And, well, people constantly complain about toxic players not getting punished, they do get punished, but for example int. feedeing punishments took a long long time. With the new System, players get punished faster, while there are systems in place to make sure no unjust punishments happen. The Report Option does have Safeguards aswell that shield it against/from beeing abused. False Reports have no effect, aside of lowering the false Reporters Report Value, meaning the System trusts their reports less in the future. Reports only flag your account for investigation by the systems, if no toxic/rulebreaking behaviour is found, nothing happens to you.
Well thx for the anwser, but it is still unknown how the system works and if it really is as you claim. For example, How does the system make a difference between feeders and teamplayers that sacrificed themselves to save their teammates? How does the system know when a report is false and/or being abused? And at the end, how does the system investigate your reports? While humans can be subjective, their thought process is pretty complex. It lets human evaluators take a lot more factors into account and adjust much better their decision. Because of it's complexity I do not think that a system could be made to reflect human evaluators. Your post actually just says" the system is good, have faith in the system". It doesn't give an explanation how it works, which i need to deduct if it really will work the way you say it will. And i dislike blindly believing in something.

I don't want to bash Riot, i respect Riot as a company far more then Blizzard. But you might want to try HotS. I'm playing both, and HotS has great split pushing and alternative strategies. It is really refreshing.

Take care, if you don't communicate with your team and get reported you might get a Chat restriction...

: You're very welcome. I was intrigued about the name of the topic, because I have a channel myself. It's not being monetized, I'm just starting it up (over 6 months now) I was very interested in actually finding it on paper too, so I made a few searches, and that popped up too. It's really informative, and I'm glad I could be of help =) Do you have a channel? If so, please link it. I'd love to give it a look.
I have made the channel and uploaded several videos. But im new to this ( a few weeks in yet) and i find that my style is lacking. I will link my channel, but probably i will delete most of my videos and start over. I have improved a little bit with with my commentary and have a bit different idea how to make the videos and how often. Probably in the next week i will start over. Anyway share your link also (if you want). Would love to check out your channel as well. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFELLMvfdG4cHxT8_CCSCXg

: What is Riot's stance on monetizing on videos with LoL content? Do i have permission?
Thank you a lot Shenumie. I know many do this, but i wanted actually to have it written on "paper" somewhere :). I really appreciate your effort to inform me.
