Rioter Comments

: i feel like you need to punish her before she gets to 3 items, like vayne for example she was meant to be a hypercarry and her earlygame is not that great tbh
Her laning isn't bad at all imo and honestly seems to out damage most of the other adc's in lane. But I do agree that her weak point is pre ~3 items, she is squishy and has no sustain, extremely weak against poke as well. What worries me is that all those hybrid/attack speed/guinsoo building champions almost always just die down after a nerf because they really are hard to balance. She is either strong or weak. Once she gets a nerf that has actual impact (Riot will probably make bunch of placebo nerfs first, cutting her damage by a single digit or some shit) she will probably end up being too weak. Although this might be different for Kai'Sa as she can build pretty much anything right now, so basically nothing I said above stands. Depends how Riot will nerf her and how that changes itemization. Only time will tell.

"no one really cares" everyone cares, how will you react if you get a 1/15 that all of a sudden went to diamond in a month or two after being bronze? not being actually bannable =/= hard to catch
> you changed the whole subject. "no one really cares" Well, your answer was "wrong", so I had to guess what are you referring to. I didn't change the subject, I picked it. > everyone cares, how will you react if you get a 1/15 that all of a sudden went to diamond in a month or two after being bronze? By "no one cares" I mostly meant Riot themselves. They clearly don't care enough, since it requires alot of time and effort to punish those people...and that's why it isn't happening. > not being actually bannable =/= hard to catch I kind of explained it by saying > Just because it's bannable by rules it doesn't mean it's actually being banned for I understand that it's bannable, but they aren't banning for it. You said hard to catch, but Riot isn't even trying. It's just too much work. Which brings us back to "no one really cares".
: I find it so interesting that out of most of the people who reply to this, one with 16 bans actually comes up with an elaborate opinion. > Chances are, you are pissed off, you haven't changed and you continue being toxic. The ban might just be fuel to the fire I see it like this, players disagree on gameplay, sometimes they do so with a more challenging attitude. Like they literally challenge a team member in chat to explain and defend themselves. They do this because they put a lot of thought into their games. It's like the disappointment when you want the game to work, you want to work with your team and it just doesn't... well what are you gonna do? You address the issues that you see openly. This is just normal. And if you get offended you should have the strengths to ignore being offended and just come up with counter arguments. So you see there is such a huge difference between 1. "why did you not attack you bloody idiot" 2. "you are an idiot" And players nowadays are so busy being offended by anything that they don't notice this anymore. The 1. is somebody who cares about the game, the 2. is somebody who absolutely doesn't. So we are constantly judging people who really put a lot of effort into their games the same way as players who are not even real players. And we don't just hand out chat restrictions based on this, no we treat them like "toxic" What is toxic? It's just some stupid lable, which btw is used by SJW's quite a lot. If they wanted to invade this game, well then they are already there. They are the players who do not put any effort whatsoever into their gameplay and ALSO don't communicate but they will always put the toxic lable on you, if you care about the game and dare to "offend them" with challenging idas. And then the system rewards this behaviour, there is just no incentive to really play well and work WITH your team. And the comments here that are so simplistic with lack of thought: > Giving more freedom to toxicity won't make it better. They are like not even reading...what the hell. I clearly deconstructed toxicity into a bad attitude that can manifest as any behaviour or gameplay action/inaction. There is huge variety and we should be really careful how much we ban and who we listen to. Anyone who replies to this saying > Giving more freedom to toxicity won't make it better. They just didn't get it. Not even gonna bother to make another long reply because they don't even appreciate it if I take this time to express my opinion, zero respect. A competitive game is not one of those SAFE SPACES that would be suited for people who for example demand safe spaces for their identity or the identity of others that they claim to speak for. (does that ring a bell) The real world also is not a safe space in terms of ideas. We wouldn't even use computers if we would only concern ourselves with protecting ideas by creating isolated environments. No, we would be a bunch of tribes, throwing rocks, maybe an occasional spear.
> I find it so interesting that out of most of the people who reply to this, one with 16 bans actually comes up with an elaborate opinion. A lot of this comes from the fact that people actually have no idea what you get banned for nowadays. When a person that hasn't been punished before sees that I have 16 permabans, he is going to think that I'm some psychopath that spends most of my gameplay threatening people and directly namecalling them, a guy who has an int list and what not. This is not the case. I kid you not that there aren't even swear words in my ban texts. I'm not talking directly shit to anyone, I'm just someone who cares about the game and gets frustrated a lot easier than others. Yes, I call out mistakes and I'm negative towards the game. Yes, I do understand that I ruin the competitive environment in some cases and I might not be fun to play with when I have the ability to express myself **but I care and I'm trying to win unlike others, and this is why I want my chat be taken away, not my ability to play the game** Remove the ability to play from people who aren't interested in playing, remove the ability to chat from people who aren't interested in being friendly with strangers no matter what goes on in the game.

Just because it's bannable by rules it doesn't mean it's actually being banned for. There would have to be Rioters manually looking at each account to judge if it is boosted or not. Bought accounts don't get banned because you just can't get caught, unless the previous owner decides to chargeback which results in a ban. You are wrong, not me.

: is account buying/sharing even bannable?
Not really lmao. Frankly no one really cares.
: Why I consider Riots attempt to fight toxicity a failure, please discuss!
As a guy with 16 permabans, well yeah, banning won't fix anything. It's not even threatening to me anymore, when I tilt and start typing in a passive aggressive manner I already know that I will be punished, this won't stop me. 16 bans haven't stopped me, why would the next one? There are people that have genuinely been scared of losing an account and stopping toxicity/communication after their 2 week ban or after 1 of their accounts gets banned. But does it change the person? Is that person suddenly reformed now? Hell no. Is there a good chance that he will tilt again at one point? Hell yes. Been an advocate for this for a long time but since people that haven't been punished just can't agree with me, it doesnt matter, but I'll say it again. Replace permabans with extended chat restrictions. Why? When you get permabanned, what happens? Chances are, you are pissed off, you haven't changed and you continue being toxic. The ban might just be fuel to the fire, although it's pretty lame, this happens. Even if it isn't, sooner or later you will start being toxic again. After all, you only need 3 punishments and the 4th will be permaban already. Also the stuff you get banned for nowadays is ridiculous, after 16 bans I still have hard time figuring out what the system bans you for because you legit don't have to swear, you don't have to namecall, you don't have to threaten, you don't have to directly flame anyone. Passive aggressive speech and negative attitude towards THE GAME is enough to get you punished. This is not normal. But, what if you get chat banned for longer of periods of time? Simply put, less toxicity. People who tilt and start talking in a passive aggressive manner, they don't actually want to do that. They are not going to switch accounts because they can't chat, they might even be glad it's gone. All of this is fueled by inters who know that the system can't detect their wrongdoings while anyone who calls them out for it, WILL be detected by the system. People bait others into getting punished because of how easy it is, the system is a complete joke. tl;dr - Riot can't change anyone's nature, they should take away the ability to talk instead of forcing people onto another name where they continue to be toxic anyway, in some cases toxic on purpose because of the ban. You can't ban someone and expect them to change like poof you are suddenly untiltable.

: Oh right, so do you think it’s something from Riot’s part that’s causing FPS issues?
It's most likely their anti-cheat. If you are on windows 10, you could try turning off core isolation, if you have that and you are willing to do that. If not then hop on the waiting train, been waiting for weeks for a fix now.
: Stuck in Honor 3, Checkpoint 1 for 3 months
Only thing I have heard about it is that getting reported slows it down. There are probably other factors and might even be the stuff you say that slows the progress down. The system could possibly detect if you are negative in some ways, could be asking people to report someone etc., and while it's not punishable per se, it could be what's slowing down your honor. Highly doubt there's an issue with your account specifically, it's slow for a lot of people. Also, when did you get Honor 3? I recently leveled an account which is Lvl 33 right now, and while it's still semi-fresh I would've imagined I got at least some checkpoints in Honor 2, but nope, I'm at 0 out of 3.
: Guys guys guys....this is a free to play game. Go BUY call of duty or some other activision games to learn about laggy games. Appreciate that they are giving you a free and most probably one of the most complex games there is out there. And you complain about random fps? Check your hardware. Lower the graphics quality. Check if there is anything else using the GPU and disable it.
Shut the %%%% up %%%%%%. This is Riot's issue and tons of people are having issues. Last patch EVEN MORE people started having the same problem. So what if they don't fix it and in 5-6 patches most of the player base has this problem? Obviously, they are forced to fix it, but let's say they don't. What happens? Player base starts quitting the game because it's quite literally unplayable for most that are experiencing the issue, Riot will start losing shit ton of money, so what was your comment about "free to play game"? You are such a %%%%ing idiot it's unreal. Players are the reason this game is as big as it is. If they are driving players away then what do you think will happen? Most of the players experiencing issues have probably bought RP at one point anyway. To me the amount bought is closer to 500 dollars. If that's not enough to get a WORKING game then god damn.
: Champions on sale for BE (not only for RP)
All for it but Riot probably won't like the idea because $$$. I'm more interested in getting back the ability to reroll 3 shards into a champion permanent. I understand it could be abused a little, for example when you have all the champions and a new one comes out, you can reroll shards and get the new champion BUT if you have all the champions you most likely have a lot of BE anyways, so Riot doesn't actually lose anything from it. It was a nice feature to have and not sure why they removed it.

: I think the issue is, not everyone is affected, narrowing down the exact cause isn't exactly a simple task when you're trying to find out what thousands of systems out of millions of combinations causes the stuttering
not THAT hard considering it's already known that it's an issue with anti-cheat??? and 50% of the issue is that Riot stays silent about it, that frustrates me even more that the issue itself

: Low FPS after last patches
Yes, never dropped below 100-110fps, now it instantly drops to 70-90 when there are as few as 3-4 champions using their spells on my screen. Even a big minion wave can get my fps to go under 100, this is ridiculous. Since I'm playing with a 144hz screen, having fps drop below 100 is extremely frustrating. Now I do know that it's Riot's fault, but before I didn't because Riot won't even %%%%ing address the issue. Made me waste so much time thinking something is up with my computer. Also, when it comes to Core Isolation, I would personally be willing to turn it off, but it just doesn't even exist for me. Apparently my computer doesn't even support it, yet I still have those issues...Same goes for people who already had it off. And that's about the only "fix" Riot tells us, even though they are the ones that should fix the %%%%ing issue.
: holy shit finally,i thought i was the only one. The game is unplayable,i do not enjoy it at all, starting the game with 550 fps and in late game i have like 70-80 but it feels like its on 20. i did everything, cleaned my pc,restarted whole windows AND bios. nothing is working,im waiting for riot support to answer me 3 days already. i really want to know what is going on,why cant i play a game with super good specs in my pc.
Yup, same boat as you, I don't think I have those stutters that people also keep talking about but overall performance dropped a lot 3-4 days ago. Never dropped below 100 before, now I get 70-80 when there are 3-4 champions on my screen using spells. Nothing in my computer changed so definitely something on Riot's side. Would be great to see some kind of answer from them acknowledging the issue, but apparently that's too much to ask.
: ANY REACTION RIOT??? Massive FPS drop since 3 days ago
I see something about turning off Core Isolation. When I try to do that, windows notifies me that my computer is somehow not supported. But I still have the issue, and in my case I can't fix it, so what do I do? Nothing? I can't do anything and Riot won't either, or at least that's how it seems, since we can't even get an answer.
: ANY REACTION RIOT??? Massive FPS drop since 3 days ago
Holy shit, yes, I'm not the only one. tl;dr, ryzen 2700x, gtx 1050ti, 16gb ram, used to run on all medium (preference, could run higher), NEVER dropped below 100. Since 2-3 days ago, as soon as there are 3-4 champions on my screen using couple of abilities my fps is down to 65-80. Now note this, I am playing on a 144hz screen, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart that 65-80 IS UNPLAYABLE FOR 144hz USERS. Also note that I didn't have a single update during that time, not a single download, not a single change in my computer. The performance just dropped drastically, making it LoL's fault.
