: Question for riven mains/players
Keep in mind that you are the one to carry your teams weight. Her kit is easy to understand but difficult to master, in my opinion she is more of a mind games champion. You just have to have played enough games against other champions to understand their habits and use them against them.
Solash (EUW)
: Just thought this was kinda interesting
What? Tank meta gone? Short games? Is it worth picking it up again
: > [{quoted}](name=Adorable Riven,realm=EUW,application-id=39gqIYVI,discussion-id=AVPzjMbY,comment-id=000b,timestamp=2018-03-27T16:26:21.305+0000) > > Everything was better before the tank meta emerged and the following metas tried to make up for it. > > Season 2/3, back when you could play any champ you want, be it a tank or an assassin, were the best years this game had. How was that not tank meta? It ALWAYS has been tank meta. Back then you built hp items into atma's impaler. The only item similar to atma's right now would be titanic hydra although that's pretty much a very pale comparison tbh.
You weren't forced to have tanks in specific roles. You were able to play assassins toplane without getting killed by the stupid amount of damages tanks were able to deal the past years.
: Looking for high elo players to help me get better
How often do you want to create the same thread today?
Surma (EUNE)
: Why old League of Legends was much better
Everything was better before the tank meta emerged and the following metas tried to make up for it. Season 2/3, back when you could play any champ you want, be it a tank or an assassin, were the best years this game had.
: Yup, C# ftw!
How freaking fast did you just reply, lol.
: League of Workout
If it is a C# application, any system win7+ should be able to run it.

: Yes: [Riven](http://championmasterylookup.derpthemeus.com/champion?champion=92) The top 3 guys with most mastery points on Riven are Plat, Gold and Diamond, respectively. *** Some more interesting numbers: - The champion with the highest mastery points is Ashe, clocking in some amazing 6.934.572 points; almost 7 million - The player with the most total mastery points has a whopping number of 10.366.243 points; he's also Silver/Gold 5 - The champion with the least mastery points is, unsurprisingly, Ornn, our newest champion, at 433.133 points, followed closely by Kayn at 512.900 points
: https://www.masterypoints.com/highscores/champion/riven This is the best site. This is good for mastery points but if you want to see the best Riven player you have to go by op.gg , it tells you on the right who's the highest ranked champion X player with Y Games played. I looked up Yamikaze on both mastery points and op.gg and he is a Talon main, has both high mastery points and high ranking. And one of the best Talon players.
: Three things that stress me the most in this game.
sounds like this game eats you up and you should consider spending your time on something else to distract you

GLurch (EUW)
: I just can't stand people putting labels on other people based on their ethnicity, nationality,... I know, we all put labels on other people, but to put labels of such a size on such a massive amount of people... I just can't understand why you would do that. A human is a human, there is no way to describe someone by looking at the people around him, you have to look at him.
GLurch (EUW)
: >I argue that they are uneducated if they cannot understand the English client. That's ome thing, but some simply feel more comfortable with the client in their native language. >I indeed argue that the Arabic people are uncultured. Their culture is literally incapable with European culture. that can be compensated with Education. Different culture =//= uncultured Uncultured is what you would call someone living like a beast, eating raw animals with his hands. >Why is that a insult, if i deem this as a argument? **You continue to press the case that I hate Arabic people, while I hate its backwards culture. Although I can understand that you didn't know, It is easy to assume the first, instead of the latter. That is why we are talking about this.** Yes, it is indeed very hard to understand that you hate the arabic culture, when you are hating on arabic people for being... arabic. >I don't think Arabic is a nationality. Why is it a insult to be Arabic? Did I ever call it a nationality? I put the "()" around the "and their nationality", because, if you insult arabic people, you insult people from many different countries too, meaning, you insult their ethnicity and nationality. >There are many uneducated people in the Europe and Americas too, the minority. And it shows in their scientific knowledge. "flat earthers, global change deniers' they get condemned by our own. And how do you know the majority of arabic people is uneducated? And let's say they are: You still can't forget about those, that are educated. It's like punishing someone for robbing a bank, because he was wearing the same cap as the ones that actually did itand was standing right next to them. If he didn't do it, he didn't do it. You can't put people together based on their ethnicity or nationality. >You make my case here yourself. You distinguish Hitler as a nazi, not as a german. In part because history itself condemns Hitler and his party as Nazi's Instead of Germans. Something that is ironically not understood by Erdogan. Wait, what? You talked about Erdogan representing turkey and not being a good person. While that could be true, that still wouldn't mean every person in turkey is a bad person. Hitler represented a large part of germany and was a nazi, still, not every german person wasa nazi. Just because Erdogan represents some turkish people doesn't mean he represents every turkish person, not to mention he 100% doesn't represent every arabic person! >I don't know about you, but I have not seen that many Muslims condemn ISIS. Instead of actually giving any negative backlash, they seem to prefer to distance themselves from it. Because you only hear from it on the news. What do you think makes up for a better story? 60% of turkish people voted for Erdogan OR 40% of turkish people voted against Erdogan? >This is what i wanted to see, you showcase positives. Its nice to hear that you have relatives from turkey, and that they oppose Erdogan. Surely those people that fleed from terrorism in their countries condemn ISIS and related groups? I wonder why they did not flee towards Saudi Arabia, for example. I have seen numerous post in the media that they have a very few or irrelevant amount of refugees. Because Saudi Arabia doesn't take any. They don't let them stay. If they somehow make it there, they get sent back soon after. >Could this mean that Arabic cultured people, consider European culture as 'safer'? 'Educated'? As I said, no. All the countries like Saudi Arabia simply just don't take refugees. Also, if you had the option of going after being attacked by terrorism to the next closest place or going millions of kilometres away, which of the two do you think is the better option? I think the answer is obvious. >You give a example about British people, but i do not think it applies here. They are educated enough to understand a major international language. coincidentally English. And Britain is something that falls under 'European region' Like i think that Turkey falls under the 'Arabic region'. Like I said, two persons being uneducated doesn't mean the person standing next to them is also uneducated. >The uneducated kind, however where not very welcome to the idea that they need to learn a new language if they want to live in another country. They where also not very welcome tot the idea that they need to respect others, in our own country. And our rules, written/unwritten. Or that they are not entitled to respect above their station. I don't know what kind of refugees you met, but the ones I met were from syria, around the region of Aleppo. They were educated (they were a family and their father was lawyer) and they all had learned german really fast and searched for work and based on other refugees I also met and what these refuges said, most of them want to learn the language as quickly as possible, so they can work and start a new life. >I would like you to reply to my original question, since you successfully derailed the conversation from [Why would we want more players from the Arabian region?] to slander and accusements. >OP wants a client with Arabic interface to attract more Arabic players. [Why would we want more players from the Arabian region?] >What kind of positive influence does the majority of the Arabic region have, that cannot use a basic English interface. I already answered you, with another question. Why not? Do you seriously think the uneducated poor arabic people, that can't speak english would even have the money to buy a PC and play this game? It's the same as asking, why polish people play on polish or german people on german. It's more comfortable with the people. You can't expect every person to know every single english word. I'm good at english, but even now, I still encounter words I have never heard of. --- Just stop saying you aren't insulting peoples ethnicity. You clearly are. Putting all people of a region together in a shelf and putting the label "uneducated and not cultured" on them is exactly what you are doing and it should be pretty clear how you insult peoples ethnicity (and nationality) with that. Please just tell me how you aren't insulting every arabic person with that and don't say something like "It's not an insult, it's a fact". If so, I want to see your source (no, facebook, twitter or any kind of website nobody knows isn't a source). Also, the truth can often be an insult too.

: Hey guys - we gotta put our hands up in this one, we intentionally removed the November 14th line incase of issues, and it didn't get changed on the EU post :-( To reassure you: we're definitely bringing solo/duo very soon. As you've probably seen we've experienced some issues with placements and we want to smooth out that experience before enabling another queue. We don't have a solid timeframe on releasing it, other than soon - this is the kind of thing we want to fix in preaseason before we hit full season launch!
I'm seriously starting to wonder how Riot distinguishes between who gets employed and who doesn't. I mean come on, after all these years and the success, how can they even allow their employees to keep making those mistakes..
