It is ironic since I also earned an honor badge from that game, without any premade allies, but as I said I have contacted riot support prior to this thread for an official take on the subject. I merely posted this board to get an idea of what the norm for player behaviour issues is, since I had never had to encounter them for years upon years, wouldn't want to start arguments here.

: parroting is dangerous. anyway, let s assume we all muted that player because toxic. suddenly u chat that stuff reiterating his words. WHY would i want to read what he stated if i already muted him? what s the purpose of repeting those words? ignorance is not always a bliss
That was something the player said in allied chat. I only mentioned it in all chat, as part of my plead to the enemies to report him so this behavior does not ruin anybody else's game. Me quoting him in team chat was a response to him calling me out saying he said nothing wrong. This is on the grounds of basic communication. Say the system catches me saying "censored words" and I get chat restricted, that I can understand.

: Well, you did call other players asshole repeatedly. While you are probably right that this was not what triggered the zero-tolerance system (the system that hands out immediate bans), but rather your quoting, you are still not innocent. You DID flame, you did indeed break the rules here. So the punishment might be a bit harsh, but in general at least SOME punishment is deserved. I recommend to contact the support and talk to them about it. I don't know Riots policy about players who are actually guilty but not THAT guilty, but if you explain the situation friendly and calmly and admit the stuff you did indeed do wrong here, you might have a chance to get your punishment reduced (if Riots policies allow that, which I don't know).
Well there is context necessary for interpretation as well. Calling that guy an asshole for not surrendering was responding to another person's comment which was along the lines of since we all agree this game is over why don't we ff and go for the next one. The latter one was just because the situation had devolved to everyone calling everyone names. Now I don't disagree here, if that is worth Riot's punishment I have no problem taking it, but 14 days of suspension when I've never have been punished before for years of playing seems ludicrous to me, and I want to add I've also never smurfed in my life.
