: No, you are not wrong, but he does the same things differently now. He was never really that good in lane compared to other supports. All he could do is go up and stun an ADC. And that thing was as predictable as the fact that the Sun will rise again tomorrow. A simple dash could ruin his stun. Now, he's at least a little bit more unpredictable, and can stun multiple targets.

: Both of you are ignoring the playmaking potential of his Bastion, which cannot be represented in numbers. From what I've seen, Fabric (Fabulous Taric) can stun people from a huge distance if he has an initiator. So, for example, if he has Shaco, Lee, Rengar, Rek'sai or any other jungler, he can stun people from afar, setting up a perfect gank. Now, I know that Anraton's main argument is surviving the laning phase. But honestly, old Fabric had even more problems because he could be kited around after he used his stun. Now, not only does he have an AoE stun, but he can also use his ADC or junglers position to stun people. As for the heal, well, for the price of higher playmaking potential, a bit of heal is only natural. His main puprose was to tank and protect, not land sissy heals after combat. We have Soraka and Sona for that.
correct me if i am wrong but .. healing and stunning where tarics main mechanics ?

old taric imbue: Active: Taric heals the target ally or himself. If he targets an ally, he heals himself for the same amount, and if he targets himself, the heal is increased by 40%. taric always healed himself too... also got increased healing if he healed only himself taric did build armor and health on old version also.... his 5% bonus hp healing scaling was changed to 1.5% per charge .. which results in 4.5% bonus hp full charged .. 4.5% vs 5% ... yes it is strong in teamfights i don't want to negate that .. but you don't have any chance to survive the laning phase ...
: The shield scales with the max HP of the shielded champ. The heal scales off Taric's HP and AP. The heal has potential to be cast on 5 targets, making it 2.5 times more potent than old heal, if it were to keep the old numbers. The shield is the new main 2 person protection. I'm not going to argue further. The two Tarics are way too different to only compare one of their abilities, which are now used in very different scenarios. The whole Taric playstyle is different. It's like complaining Soraka lost her 150 armor buff on heal in her rework. Yes. She did. A billion other stuff also changed. A 150 armor buff on 1.1 second cooldown might be slightly OP, don't you think? This is what's happening to Taric.
the shield has only a % health scaling ... at lvl 1 it ia bout 40-60 hp ... that is not even an auto of most adcs ... level 1 to 5 is a 50% increase ... in "raw numbers" ... taric lvl 9 got 1226 hp ... lvl 1 shield is 98 hp ... lvl 5 shield is 147 ... thats about 50 shield more ... but the difference is .. you have to apply it before the damage is incoming .. you just can't heal up the damage that is done ... if i max the shield first ... i got heal to lvl 2? .. means ezreal with 1024 hp gets aa 122 hp after trade i start healing ... t=00 .. 122 (prevented) + 3* 30 = 212 // mana spent: 60 + 60 = 120 t=15 .. + 30 = 242 // +60 = 180 t=30 .. + 30 = 272 // + 60 = 240 t=45 .. + 30 = 302 // +60 = 300 ok i cant heal every 14 sec but heal after 45 secs ... means your ady has 45 sec with 90 hp less t=45 .. + 30 = 302 // +60 = 180 old taric .. no shield. healing after damage incoming t=0 .. 220 // mana spent 100 t=14 .. 440 // + 100 = 200 after 15 seconds old taric reverted 33% more damage than new taric does in 3x the time

1 q heals for 20/40/60 at lvl 1 independend if you are within 1 healing area or in both .. no double dipping

Triumphant Roar COOLDOWN: 16 SELF HEAL: 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+ 20% AP) ALLY HEAL: 20.1 / 30.15 / 40.2 / 50.25 / 60.3 (+ 6.7% AP) .... that is more or less the same healing amount that taric does .. but ali has 3x healing for himself ... also fix mana costs EDIT: sorry scaling mana costs ...
: Still, you are not counting in both the heal and the shield. They are both damage mitigation mechanic. Yes, his heal is weaker. It is also not only on 2 people as it's AoE. That's what people tell you all the time. It had to be weaker due to this anyway. But to make up for this, he also has a 2 man shield. A shield has a limited duration but is unaffected by grievous wounds. Also, a shield promotes trading MUCH MORE, which means you will get much more of your passive. The heal is meant to be used only when you actually receive damage. That's being held away with the shield. That means heal has much more time to stack up. The ability is different, suited for a different kit. It's not the old Taric anymore. He's shiny. He's new. And he's much, much, much better. Mark my words, in 2 weeks time, he will be the most "nerf pls" champion on Boards.

Ezreal (i.e.) has 602 hp @ lvl 3 .. -> 48 hp damage reduction so you wanna tell me a 60 hp shield is equal to a 60 health heal? new taric lvl 9 has 1226 hp ... resulting in a 135 hp shield for him ezreal .. got 1024 hp resuting in a 122 hp shield .... vs a 220 hp heal on old taric heal can be aplied after the damage is dealed in any time pattern ... shields have to be up before the damage is incoming and you can't stack the shields ... you can't prefent as much as you healed and you can't heal the rest in the same time frame ... or you run oom way faster then old taric did

: Congrats, you just described the life of pretty much every support whilst behind. I've going to leave you with the reason I had initially given; it's AoE. Doesn't matter if there's only you and your ADC fucking about it bot lane, the fact that it's AoE means it can not be as powerful.

: Ahhh, thank you. I didn't even see the numbers yet. So. According to this, the heal is going to get 5 *additional* second reduction per empowered attack. 10 seconds per spell maximum. How can you not include this into your maths? This is HUGE amount of CDR coming from right usage of passive.
it is 1 second + 5 sec bonus (bonus scaling with cdr ... means 40% cdr only 3 sec bonus) -> max 12 sec cdr per cast how much mana do u want to spend? as much as old taric? .. you need to wait for 3 charges -> cdr is 45-12 = 33 sec sepending more mana ... you can cast heal 2 aa 3 sec rest heal again ... you get 9 sec for the same heal amount taric does in about double the time .. but you also tripple the mana costs also keep in mind effect on minion wave. well taric lvl 3 has an aa damage of 63, + 30 damage from passive ... dealing 93 damage on hit for 2 hits per cast resulting in pushing the wave and you maybe also trigger relic shield .. i also ignored old traics 2 sec cdr from passive

AoE healing doesn't help surviving the laning phase. and it doesn't heal minions, only champions. EDIT: if you maxed q first (yes i normally did it) .. you were able to heal 220 hp every 14 secs ... or 15 hp per second new taric would be like 4 hp per second if you don't have charges left

Also the rest of his kit has become way more usefull and obviously a rework is not meant to be a straight buff.
at lvl 3 you heal 30 per stack .. 3 stacks heal for 90 + 4.5 bonus hp ... vs 80 + 5% bonus hp ... and you need to wait 45 sec for getting the full 3 recharge (ignoring passive reduction of ... 6 seconds per auto for 2 autos per cast)
: Here's the thing; his new heal is AoE, not point and click. He can now heal his entire team rather that just him and someone else. The heal has to be smaller per person to accomodate for that.
at lvl 3 .. you normaly are only you and your adc .. maybe the jungler ... EDIT: right on teamfights it is stronger, but it is a huge laning phase nerf

Hi Miss chances aren't wanted by Riot, as is is unreliable. CDs, Damage + Skaling missing, W 3 Sec invulnerability is a bit to long? if the ring is unpassable ... you loose the root effect? More or less a J4 ult? E1 exploding and then slow effect? or exploding at end of 3 sec duration? Over all: Like the Idea of different build pathes (Hero of the Storm Fan? :-D ) Some stuff will be a challange to be balllanced but you have nice ideas.

i don't know the exact mechanics ... afaik the voting system was .. kind of "calibrating" the automated system ... the system collects the reports, scans the chat logs (don't know how it is handling trolls/feeders/afk) and .. well if if "finds" harrassment, racism or other unwanted stuff it uses the escalation plan ... 2x chat restriction, 14 day ban, perma ban. Steps can be skipped if you are failing hard. For afks .. well there is i.E. leaveBuster so i expect afks to be handled correct ... only feeder and trolls i don't know how they are handled .... was that answer to your question?

well ... where do you draw the line who gets perma chat man and who gets a perma supsension? there are clear rules - don't be toxic in any way. You get 3 Warnings (if you are not TOO bad) befor you are perma banned... 2x chat restriction, 14 day ban .... there were enough signs for this incoming.
