: I have no problem with someone liking the competitive aspect of the game, the thing that annoys me is when they get pissed at me for playing the game on a casual level. Like in the post you mentioned, I didn't say anything offensive before they did. I literally just wanted to know whether the game felt more boring for them now that they've got everything, because I know that the only reason I'm playing solo is getting shards, keys and chests, and the only reason I play otherwise is having fun with my friends. So for me personally, having all champions and skins would take away the reason to play alone, hence I would only play with friends. And the guy got mad at me saying the game was for competition. Like I don't have any problems with people who prefer to be alone and not have friends, but what annoys me is when they despise people just because they have friends. The reason I really enjoy this game is that I can play it with friends. Ranked literally stresses me off and I can't enjoy it even a slight bit. So as for me, I only enjoy the game casually, with friends. And that's why it pisses me off when someone OBJECTIVELY says this game is about competition, and it sucks for me that I don't like competing. I didn't find your answer offensive at all by the way, honestly I liked it. I can see that you have some common sense and don't only look at things from the competitive point of view. Honestly people on that post tilted me so much that any time I check the League Boards and see I have a notification, I feel really stressed that it may be related to that post and people may still be writing hate comments.
Thats how the humans are. 50% of them are dumbos. Its forbidden to molest people with dark skin, so their instincts leads them to the next target. In that situations, you can really "grow a thick skin", because the bad people here have no personal relation to you. The things what the dumbos say is often just hot air and should not affect you. Especially in the internet. Also for example the people who argued with you. They talk about competitive game. One of them plays just the same champ for years, without even scratching at a competitive elo. The other guy is just random. I can assure with high possibility that the guys arguing to you were just some slackers like me. I find it good that there are players who enjoy any aspect of the game. For me its even ok if the players are pedos who like rule34 art of zoe. As long as nobody gets physically or mentally hurt, it is ok. Just report and leave them alone, if they make you feel bad. They will probably answer with things like "crybaby, RIOT does nothing, they ban me but not the trolls, mimimi". But you should ignore that. You are not here to teach them who to live a good live. You will probably not marry them. But that is, just how i handle it with my /fullmute all mentality.

: im in low elo main mid and jg and supp i play with Vladimir and veigar ahri and leblanc jg i go ww and jax and khazix supp i go blitzcrank and alistar and lux who should i pick ?
Your Mid and jungle champs are good in my opinion. When picking a champion in champion select. I recommend to have a list of 3 champions for your prefered roles. Like you have. But you should also think, what champion do you want to play the most and prioritize the list. For example: 1. Leblanc, 2. Ahri 3. Veigar 4. Vladimir. If you pick before your enemy laner, then pick according to your list, if they are not banned. If he picks first, choose the best champion of your list to play against him. For support I am not sure. I dont play that role often. But I think your supports could go wrong in 50% of the games. Because they are risky. blitzcrank: + is tanky, - he can miss hooks or pull the wrong player alistar: + tanky good cc, - you can mess up and kick the enemy to the wrong site lux: + you have dmg, - you die if you miss your q But if you want to climb, you need to know the fundamentals of the game: 1. farming minions and monsters: there was a 32min game, where you played leblanc and won. But you had 90 CS, 2.8 cs per minute. That is very low. Because the gold and exp you get from minions is huge. 20 CS (1 and a half minion wave) are a like a kill worth of gold. The perfect cs is around 100 cs per 10min. That means a good player whould have had 320 cs in your game, but you had 90. 200 minions are like 10 kills, even more. 2. dying less if you die less, you can farm more and be available if something happens
Leogolas (EUNE)
: Best Champions to climb up
You have to be good at the game to climb. And play consistently I could climb with sejuani tank jungle from gold 2 to plat 4 very easy. Because I was better than the other players in that elo. I just did more meaningful dmg with a bad tank than my opponents with their full dmg rengars, camilles and lee sins. But in my opinion the best champion to climb depends on elo. In my theory: If you are in a lower elo, you should choose champions with CC, a bit of tankiness and a bit of dmg. Mobility doesnt really matter in lower elo. If I had to choose, i would take jax. If you go higher in elo, you should focuse on a specific playstyle and choose the most efficient build (full dmg/full utility).

: League community
thats not league community. that is just "normal" human behaviour. only hitlers can clean this up. <== was sarcasm, but it would work just ignore the falmers. that is not ignorance, bacause the process is like this: 1. see that someone insults you like you described 2. you think: this guy bad, only useless stuff comes out of him 3. get your head down and continue This does not apply to real life interaction. In real life you have to reveal the problem and look your enemies deep into their eyes if you are strong enough. There are more bigger fundamental problems in this world. So I just see this riot-toxicity-handling-problem not so high on my list.
Silent Note (EUNE)
: Why are some people on the boards so toxic?
That is because the majority of people on this planet are very toxic on the internet. I see it from other people I know. Not me, I am a stellar human being and never actively hurting other people out of ignorance. I stalked your history. Did you mean this: https://boards.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/forum-games-contests-en/uEK4NT99-giveaway-euw-only?comment=0000000000000002000000030000000000000000000000000000 The concrete reason why this conversations went wrong, besides the toxic internet community, or just simply your faults: * Your posts sound very passive-aggressive * You gave them something to chew on. You answered where you shouldn't have answered * You wanted to win a conversation battle with toxic people on the internet who simply dont care on the internet * You insulted someone who insulted you back I mean I am a player who played this game since season 1. I have every champion. I have every skin I want. I started to play this game with friends and had fun learning the game. I liked the strategic and competitive aspects until mid season 5. After that period, literally all my champions/playstyles got completly reworked/changed/removed. Games got shorter, less macro more clown fiesta. I have also no friends. I liked the game because, here I could be the evil mastermind. I like to punish the enemy for every single tiny mistake. I want them to feel destroyed. I like to play the most optimal path to win until the end. The end does only come for me when my nexus hp goes to 0. I only do not like it when my team wants to surrender. So I must be your ideal enemy/counterpart. I forgot why I am writing this. But the evil mastermind I am I have to say that you just creted this post to get acknowledgment from other people. Like people on Instagram. But I feel sorry for you. In my eyes you are just a little innocent dummy who confronted the "normal" people of the world. Or you could be a troll-kid-feminazi-vegan-attentionseeeker, who gut "butthurt", and needed another pointless post to get acknowledge and power from other people to feel great again. Because I think that you are a little bit dummy, I assume that you would find my answer offensive. But I do not intend to offend you.

Soulless players who are not really playing the game. They just grind hundreds of games in hope to get some random success. They always put less energy in games where they think there is no reward. But they are just to bad or lazy to even recognize their chances. It's the same with _some _poor people claiming that they can't get a proper future, education and stuff. But often its their own fault of not appreciating the little things. I hope for that you will continue to have fun in this game.

: But you see, you're doing exactly same thing you're trying to prevent and judging me for something I didn't do. I didn't compare particular player and statistics, I only looked at that player's match history and tried to find inconsistencies, find something that he did differently before and after some period. And that's it. I used statistics as starting point only, to decide what I'm looking for
I do fight fire with fire. But i do not to the same thing I want to prevent. Your intensions were very clear to me. You just wanted to find out the truth for yourself about this random post. Alot of posters here are straight up too dumb to see their own mistakes. : > I wouldn't recommend you to make assumptions like that to have the base to judge any human being. It's not the assumption though, pick random 100 players. Guess how many always have flash on the same key? You have higher chance to be correct if you say 100 than if you say any other number. I saw that some players use Flash on different key when they are jungling or playing with TP, but that's not that common. And I haven't seen another player like you with such elaborate scheme. And to get some real data for this experiment I looked at all players in my last 11 ranked games. That's a total of 99 random players, I'll cheat a bit and use myself as 100th. So here's result: Amount of players that didn't always have Flash on same key: 7, so well, it's not as rare as I thought, I stand corrected there, but still rare enough to make my "assumptions" not wrong. Also interestingly enough only in 1 case I could find a clear pattern, he used Flash on different key when he used TP. In another 3 I could find only 1 game in recent history where they changed Flash position, so it looks more like a test than anything else, I'm not sure if I should count those at all. And in last 3 cases it was just random swapping, same champions and positions and differently placed summoners.
I still judge you because you still not tackled the fundamentals of my argument. > but still rare enough to make my "assumptions" not wrong. Your assumptions are not wrong at all. The thing is that you cannot accuse or judge a human by comparing his actions to statistics. That is not allowed in court nor in civilized societies. Example: Accuseing someone for murder because the possibility (accused person is delinquent) and statistics (he robbed stuff in the near area in the last time) and connections (he knew the victim) tell so. The judge cannot give him the sentence. There is the possibilty that the criminal accuesed did not murdered the victim. Humans are individual and should be treated so. That applies also for their actions. But you can decide who you will be. You can always be the guy who punches first before he knows. When I think of it, I started to write to you because I saw a discussion train already going on, starting from your post. I thought that a discussion regarding this topic can only be resolved by xZoe telling the truth and the result. My personal hopeless mission here is to protect possible innocent people from the claws of the internet hate, and to indicate that people are just meaninglessly igniting some hate to people who do not deserve it. If i think correctly, i just write on this board because im bored of the game actually. There is no point for me to write here. People will still continue to do their stuff around the world.

To be honest, not even an IP change should be a decisive factor to ban anyone, unless it's really frequent and the distances are impossible to be reached within reasonable time. I've left home a lot of times and played from an internet cafe while i was out of town with business. Also there's more grey-area stuff like VPN. My friend works in PHP and Server Administration, he's using a lot of virtual machines and VPN, if he gets a ban, i'll have a huge laugh, along with quitting league. Spending money and investing time into something that might turn into a paranoia, given the facts support center is refusing to provide the evidence is a big no-no for me.
I do not know how the IPs are given in china, where pople are actually boosting for money. I heard that in some countries, the ip is bound to a fixed location. But even so, if riot has this data of a game: account id, game id, **TIME**, **IP** chinese elo-booster connects to a riot service with his account => riot has his ip shorly after or before: he connects to the boosted account => riot has a connection between 2 accounts depending on the the time gap, it is very unlikely that the internet providers and vpn services switch the ips between those two players.

: Singed games are questionable, but those 2 other games aren't really, OP himself confirmed that his brother played those. And your case may as well be an exception to the rule, because normal players do not swap their summoner spells every third game. So it is quite suspicious when someone has Flash on D for 5 years and suddenly changes it to F for 15 games, wins them all, and then goes back to Flash on D. Or you actually share this account with someone and you're just playing with fire here. Do you want me to send a report just in case? Also if you want to read my thoughts about those "investigations" I and some other players did read this https://boards.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/champions-gameplay-en/Iglpisgx-i-feel-like-im-in-danger?comment=0002
What I wanted you to show is my system of summoner spell positioning. How I decide how to put summoners: - 'd'-Key is in center of hand -> therfore easier to hit for me than 'f'-> so I put there the most important spell of the actual game Me jungle: smite is most important -> put on 'd' Normal meta laning for ranked: flash is safety, therefore more important to me -> put on 'd' i generally put mobility and safety on 'd' why laning: 'd' priority: flash > ghost > exhaust > barrier ARAM: snowball is always on 'd' for me I failed: The client is buggy or I forgot to swap them. I wanted to try the other way: I did this twice 5 years ago. Some people have a system, some are clumsy, and some are straight up random. > normal players do not swap their summoner spells every third game. I wouldn't recommend you to make assumptions like that to have the base to judge any human being.

: Riots Game Damaging Actions Towards Trolling Inting and Toxicity
In the number of upvotes to this post just shows that people do not understand what they are actually demanding. If you can name me a computerssystem which makes real life influencing decisions by analizing human behaviour, then you can bring a counter argument. Main reason why I think there is nor real reason for such an AI-System: The system would make alot of errors which have to be cleared by hand (real humans = >loans => expensive/time consuming - then you can go back and evaluate banns by real people) Riot could even kill the game by that. Really destroy its playability by banning countless normal players. I think the difficult part of making a good AI here, is to distinguish in numbers between a troller, noobs, creative players, bad players. I wont give more arguments because I have the feeling to talk to a ignorant (judging before thinking further) wall considering the intelligence level of 95% the players I've met from gold 1 to plat 4. > In all honesty, not that it matters, but in my opinion toxicity isn't something that can just be 'disciplined' in an online game/community, it will always be there whether you like it or not Thats so very true. I 100% agree for the whole future of humanity. (no sarcasm) You can talk as much as you want. Toxicity has no reason to be here. If you are toxic, you get banned. {{sticker:sg-syndra}}

: It's kinda funny. I scrolled your match history to the very beginning of this year and overall it looked legit. But then I noticed your strange habits of changing summoners spells, on one champion only: Singed. I couldn't find a single good reason why would someone change his summoners so often and so randomly, just look at this https://imgur.com/RO0X2n7 But that was the only questionable thing that I saw at that point, so I thought maybe you just picked him to troll your teammates or something and didn't bother checking your summoner spells. So I finished scrolling and thought, well, that's enough, maybe ban isn't deserved after all and when I was almost ready to close that page I noticed this: https://imgur.com/43l3VeS and this has no good explanation, it looks like dead giveaway that you shared your account with someone else.
I do not think that thoes summoner spell switches are a sign of possible account sharing. The screenshot you have shown are not enough to prove anything, and I do not want to really scroll down this players match history to see it myself. You can look at my match history and tell if you find my summoner spell positioning strange. The 99.99% evidence that only riot has is the ip. If riot knows the used ip/ips of a chinese elo-booster, they can look which accounts else had been played by those ips. --> instant bann, or not if you are friends with that elo booster and player on a laptop in his apartment in china or through his proxy.

The game, where you "fed", was a bad matchup for orianna. I can imagine the killfest, because orianna is very squishy and difficult to survive with, when the team is ahead of you. From a jungle main, why junglers gank like this: jungler was being flamed or interacted with so that he has the feeling/impression that he ows the laner something. if the jungler wouldn't follow the call, he would question his existence. Why is he even playing a team game? The junglers lane is not only jungle, the jungler makes top a 1.5v1.5, mid a 1.5v1.5, bot a 2.5v2.5, jungle a 0.5v0.5. if one lane fails, it also fails for the jungler, he looses space and camps on the map where he can't use anymore. Depending on the junglers experience/skill he decides to not sacrifice his laner.

: just how do you do it
You should take a break and think what you like about the game and the roles you play. Think of the best moments of playing your role. After the break, you should play your role with a champion, that YOU think is good and you like to play, and not some champion from stupid guides. But you can learn from guides. Learn different things you can apply in your games about the role/champions you play. What i want to tell you is that league isnt a game with some secret formula or pattern to win. Because league is pvp and has so many factors to consider. Not every game is the same. Every player has to learn for himself how to improve. Its the same like really learning things in school. If you just learn for an exam instead for life, you can climb, but you wil also fall after the meta changes. Edit: I looked into your math history and the biggest bad thing I can tell you is that you die too much. You die too much as an adc. A carry role player should not die that much. You consider you to improve your kda. Try to die max 3 times per game.
: People wanting to give up because things aren't going their way is in my opinion not a problem of the ranked system but of the players. Secondly, i'm pretty sure location plays into matchmaking which makes sense. Better to play a slightly uneven match with decent ping than an equal MMR match with a ping of 120. Player condition varies every day, it'S safe to argue the small differences in MMR won't actually weigh hard into the balance. And i wouldn't take anything at face value that comes from reddit. Riot is not messing with live systems, they have special ones for testing all aspects.
> People wanting to give up because things aren't going their way is in my opinion not a problem of the ranked system but of the players. You are right with this, but the game shouldn't support or even allow such behaviour. Software should always be made suitable for most brainless/laziest users. They will always take the easy/short way, even though it is illogical. Some governments even made some softawre illegal, because dumb people use it. I have similar feelings about this game like you. If I actually want to climb, I would have to turn on my badass mode on, which is not very pleasant for other people. But there is no drive to climb. Resons are strange changes, not IMO, its the observation of a lot of people. The only strange thing here is, that i have not a big problem with insults of other people, even though i have the same feeling about the game. Only a few times i got bullied during a game by all teammates, while playing a support-champion which is horrible. The players who annoy me the most are people who want to surrender the game even though some teammates don't. It is just unfair to the players who make the effort to carry. Ironically the players who surrender games are the ones who desperately want to win. /fullmute all isnt a longtime solution. after some games you will ask yourself "what am i even doing here?". The rank-system is not optimal imo. It forces players to play a grindy style instead of focusing to win every game.

I play this game since season one. I was being flamed, insulted and trolled. The were reacists against me. They flamed me to troll me, they flamed me because thought i was wrong and they flamed me because i was wrong. I lived through it all. Even 9v1 falming. Even if they steal your position when you called it first. do not flame just accept and report after. if they force you to play support, just play a ap support like zyra brand and just kill everything on the map and ward. I never replied to flames, because i played the game because i liked the game. flamers are not a single key stroke worth for me. they are noobs in being human. i am the pro and i never let them become one of them. i never got banned in lol. just once i got a warning because i send an ascii penis in all chat. there are and will be other people who flame, its just human nature. you can decide if you want to join them or advance

: Ranked Games Are Unfair To those who are Trying
I recommend that you take a break and play normals. Thats what I had to learn too. I dropped from Plat1 to Plat4 in just 3 or 4 Days. I know 3 sort of "Bad Team" in plat. 1. Loosing Team 2. Loosing Team + giving up (doing stupid plays and surrendervoting (ggnext)) (3. the troll/ leaver) The 1st one you can carry by yourself. Just don't die. This is important. If you are strong and keep being srong during the game, your teammates can catch up and turn around the game. The 2nd team is much more difficult. The worst case with this team is soft-inting, flaming and leaving teammates. Here I also try to avoid dying. But it is more difficult. You sometimes have to let the looser/inter die by himself, so that he realized that he failed and change his playstile, or he quits and you lose. 3. You have luck to have 4 good players and win. I admire you that you have the willlpower to talk to your teammates. I just started to fullmute all to keep sanity. Just believe in yourself. Bevore every game, just think, that you have nothing to loose. You are always starting from 0 every game. Challanger or bronze 5, everything is the same.
: IS this 'ban worthy'
Every line (literally) of text in your chatlog is extremely annoying. For example, we can just take the first one: FakrBakrPlayMakr: iim not going vs illaoi What people could think about this line: - That you want to switch lane or you troll - That you are a bad player and you doesnt want to play the difficult part. You just want to see flashing lights saying that you are good. You have absulutely no respect of other people. Thats what i can see from your writing. I looked over every single line of yours. I would report you for every single line of chat. Not a single line was positive. I don't continue to write because the next would hurt you, depending on your personality.

> and trolling that causes leaves is somehow fine? no > also, if it really is THAT bad, why is it, that doing the right thing is punished harder than leaving a game in progress and being hit by leaverbuster I think 30 min dodge timer is for aram. The made it higher because its the most dodged game mode. Possible Resons: - Dodging makes this game mode loose its purpose (All Random) - To queue for this game mode feels bad. A lot of players who somehow are not able to press the button when a game is found make the queue very annoying. You have to this annoying "tshuff[pres button]wuuuuuuuuuum" sound multiple times until you reach champ select. Then in champ select there are more annoying people who dodge in the last second to redo this painful cycle. They are usually unexperienced/bad players who think the available champs are bad for aram. > you seem to have the same mentality as RIOT, ban the outcome (leavers) but leave the cause (trolls/assholes) alone to carry on with what they are doing, and the second you call them out on it, you get a chat ban.... The problem lies in the people not the system. If you have a realistic solution for this, RIOT would take it. Try to describe an algorithm with the given data of a game which tries to find out if a player trolled. The algorithm should not be able to be abused. Give a definition of troll. You are avoiding the point like you are avoiding the difficult games. Can you not just be a man and not leave a game. Some skilled player who wants to carry a game with a troller would be thankful. Just confront your problems in general. That is the only was to improve, IRL and in LOL.
: We're playing a game not taking a literature test. "my dear gentleman, could you explain to me for what reason did you do that, because I find it highly unpleasant" Is a lot longer than: "dude, why? Cause it's stupid"
Did you mean "dude, why? it's stupid"? If that is the case then its just another stupid chatline to me. To criticize someone i would rather say something like: "nami, dont attack minions" "alistar, play passive" its shorter, more specific, and contains useful information for gameplay without harming your teammate. you can even add a "pls" to be nicer.

: excuse me?
I do not accept your excuse. Leaving is bad and it destroys the experience for some players.
: I am a morgana otp and Boosted Morgana works both when I feed and when I carry
Ok, I understand you. Sorry for asking. I just had some arrogant thoughts, because I encountered alot of annoying palyers with "boosted", "feeder", "bad", "n00b", .... in their name. The name just made their actions appeare more salty to me. But I cannot judge people by this. Every person has its pros and cons so do I. And I just write meaningless things because I have stomach pains and diarrhea.
: Why not just ff earlier? I agree that aram is incredibly frustrating sometimes e.g. when you are an all melee team into ziggs, vel'koz, xerath, zyra and twitch it may be better to dodge and perhaps riot should introduce earlier ff in aram
do not listen to Conphucius **the only thing what makes a game unwinnable are leavers**
: Changes to the current leaverbuster system?
5 years ago I suffered from random 10k pings during games. After some months I found out that the issues usually lied in: - running other applications for voice-chat (mine was skype) - using WLAN I switched from WLAN to "Power-line communication" and it made wonders. My ping is now consantly around 40-50.
: Banned for saying %%% to a support flaming me
The things I think about a summoner with a name like yours is: "Average internet person" and "self destruction" Can I ask you why you choose your summoner name? (I am focused on "boosted")
