The most frustrating thing is trolls can't be punished from a pre-game lobby... Not long ago, I had a player post his Twitch stream in chat and then he and another player proceed to pick the most unreasonable champs for their position, after clicking his stream i noticed these two players where friends. It was so ridiculous that I decided to dodge the game which I really don't like and didn't want to do, but id rather wait 5mins than take a loss when i was close to promo and a game is FAR FAR easier to lose than be won. It just wasn't worth the risk. I watched his stream for a further few minutes and seen that he entered FIVE more lobbies before anyone dodged based on their champ picks, all the while they were laughing. Yet the person leaving gets punished for 5mins...

Id agree with this. Perhaps my gripe is with soloQ... because we are ranked as a team when everyone is 1+1+1+1+1... I feel this is what creates the very mixed levels of skill because its luck who is in your team and then its just random wins and loses based on the 1+1+1+1+1 levels of skill. I'm starting to see a pattern that the team with the weakest player tends to loose... not always but rule of thumb. the weakest being afk. 4v5 is usually gg. Thanks
: I have seen so often that someone who won his lane did absolutely nothing good afterwards in the game. Just because someone leaves his game 5/2 doesn't mean he can't get caught leaving his team without their strongest probably and thus leading to very disadvantages situations for his team that has no fault. Score might be a factor but there are many more far more important things in the game that a system can't track but are deciding the outcome of the game. How often did a single bad engage after a long game led to an immediate loss. Can the system tell who's fault it was. Should it even matter or should it overlook a small oopsie. I feel a score related system is inferior to what we have now. If you show consinstently good performance you will climb no matter what. Some games are lost "automatically" because of your team. But also won because the enemy team gets the exact same players. And if your consintent a single game meens nothing. Just like their inconsistency will lead to them staying where they are or degrading.

Yep I understand, as I said there is no golden answer unfortunately for everything because every game offers a different situation. Perhaps there should be a more detailed system designed to track a players activity in objectives, some already exist in the ranking for different roles.

If you watch any competitive matches they focus more on staying alive and objectives (like farm) more than kills especially in the first 20mins, so going 250 farm in 20mins may well be the ticket to carrying a lesser skilled player later in the game... however if the lesser skilled player then goes 0/12 in the same 20mins and you lose the game, you are still punished with the same LP loss even though you were playing correctly and fulfilling your role. Hardly seems fair? Please understand this is all situational. There is no black or white answers as every game plays out differently. Again not saying this is a solution just food for thought... : Your idea is not new, it's probably the most commonly suggested idea there is about ranked system. And it has very serious flaws, starting with the fact that grade system doesn't care how much you influenced the outcome of the match. It just looks at your stats and compares it with other players that played same champion and role. So you can do nothing, but farm all game and get higher score than those in your team that actually tried to win. And that fact raises another problem, problem of min-maxing stats for the sake of getting higher score, completely disregarding the outcome of the match. Also, you're trying to fix a problem that don't even exist. System is fine in the long run, one lost game doesn't matter. You have to look at the big picture and there only your skill matters. If you're good enough then you will climb without any problems

I have the same issue! various parts of my client are coming up as black boxes randomly. I have tried a repair and reinstalling the game and also done a fresh install of the latest graphics drivers. It happens after finishing a game and coming back to desktop.
