: We had to end-of-life privacy.riotgames.com because it was not in-line with GDPR standards. For the time being, the support portal is the only way to get this information. We will not refuse requests if we can verify you are who you say you are since that's against the law.
Okay thanks for the reply, thats to bad that because of GDPR you have to downgrade the ability for the player to check his/her info, but i understand that you would get in troubble otherwise.

: Yup, and I have trouble keeping up with the insane level of goodwill Riot is doing.., they aren't far from being a non-profit organisation now...
When me and my friends last could look how much we had spent i was around 300 dollars, while some of my friends where up at 700 or even over 1000 dollars, and alot more people on the forums of those old posts where up at 1000+ dollars. While normal people don't want to spend 59.99 on a game we spend literaly thousands of dollars on free to play games like leauge. Free to play games has been a good market for many years now since people think "OH IT'S FREE" And spend ALOT of money on in game stuff. Atleast Riot is not a pay to win free to play, So i do not think money is an issue for Riot, Not including sponsors from large companies.
: Just check your bank account report from specific date till today and count how much u spent on video game.
Impossible, i have played leauge for longer than i had my spending bank account.

: Yeah people forget that riot is a company and to run the servers and patches they need to pay their employees and bills
I realise they are a company but i think they make enough money not to hide this kind of information from us, since in the long haul if they just focus on moneymaking people will see it and move on to other games.

: If you think Riot cares about anything but money, you are taking the term 'naive' to a whole new level.
I think and hope some of them cares about the game and in making it better and more enjoyable for everyone.

Why would they implement such feature in the first place if this was their agenda all along?
I wouldn't know, they hid it pretty well from the start that you even could see how much you spent. Maybe they where legaly required to give that information to us but now they chose a way that makes it more troublesome for us without acctualy witholding the information. This will ofcourse result in ALOT less people ever seeing the amount of money they have spent on the game because no normal person will logg in to submit a ticket and wait a MONTH to find that out when before you could just logg in from a link to see it.
: Might be according to the new data safety policies and all but quitting a game because you have to ask someone how much money you spent on it....weird.
The reason is that it feels like Riot is incredibly greedy "IF" the reason they removed it has to do with hiding the amount of money players spend. Because i remember alot of comments on the old posts saying stuff like "Since i saw how much i spent i haven't bought more RP" Ofcourse Riot doesn't like that people become self aware with their money, but if they hide information from us to make more money i don't want to support them any longer.

: he probably got suspended or something so he want to know how much money he wasted on the account?
I have never gotten suspended, and i have played since season 1.

: I read what you said below, but you didn't read what I told you. You claimed they are hiding information which is false. The information is avaiable, but they are complying with the GDPR pollicies. I'll quote what someone else said below, because it seems you ignore what doesn't suit your narrative: > [{quoted}](name=Zyzyx,realm=EUW,application-id=eZuvYsEr,discussion-id=Y6EyTOTm,comment-id=000100000000,timestamp=2018-07-29T12:33:38.497+0000) > > This is an incredibly complicated topic and just because Steam can do it, doesn't mean League can do it. > > It's also possible that simply some technical process in the background is not allowed anymore due to GDPR. Like it or not, this is how it works now. If you want that information, you need to ask Riot Support. Also, why does it matter if you need to wait a bit? Does that change anything, at all? You are just grasping for reasons to be upset about something.
I said the only reason i see is that they want to hide it since they did not come out with ANY information about why they would hide it. And im not grasping for something to be upset about when i am critisising that they removed the ability to see my own investment in the community, since they are making it worse. I want the leauge experience to be better therefore i am pointing out flaws with hiding information from the players. AND once again it is wasting EVERYONES time if we have to wait a MONTH for me to create a ticket and for the support to read it and look for that information and then send it back to me instead of just having it as it was so i can easily look it up for myself. If it has something to do with a new internet law they should atleast inform the players. Pointing out flaws and acctualy admitting something is worse is not "Being upset" Or "Salty" or whatever you call it, you realy have to understand the word constructive critisism.

Why not ask instead of making incorrect assumptions? [GDPR](https://www.eugdpr.org/) There's a reason why they redirect you to a specific ticket form. If you want to know that information, just ask them. They aren't hiding it. [GDPR and Data Processing FAQ](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001316148-GDPR-and-Data-Processing) > ##How can I get information about my account? > > Send us a ticket and we’ll begin processing a data request for your account (Use the dropdown “I need help with account management, data requests, or deletion). After a 30-day waiting period, we’ll email you a summary of the information we have on your account.
I will just copy paste what i typed to the other person below. "It would be stupid if they removed the option to view it yourself and made it so you HAVE to submit a ticket and ask riot to see how much money you have spent on the game" Is what i said, it is troublesome for normal players to send a ticket and wait for a response, it is also an inconveninence for the support and takes up valuable time they could spend on something more important than me checking how much i spent. And seriously who wants to wait a MONTH to check something like that, It takes up everyones valuable time the support and mine included.
: You can just write a ticket to support and they'll tell you.

: > the only reason they would do that is that they don't want people to see how much money they spend on the game so people keep spending. Except for the dozens of other possible reasons. Just because you can't think of any other reason, doesn't mean there is none. Given that this feature was removed at exactly that time, I'm very sure this is related to the GDPR.
Other platforms such as steam still give the option for the player to see HIS OWN information so i doubt it has anything to do with new internet rules, i do not understand why Riot would hide it without saying why they would hide something so important.
