: frozen rift!
I hope someone from Riot will respond to this. But i think they got some alarm when a thread reaches 100 responses, otherwise they dont care about it.

: There is snow map for old Summoners Rift, but not for updated one, so they can't just use snow map, they have to make new one

Blizzard makes so many expansions for their games, almost all online gaming companies do. Riot Games however, has never done a major thing other then champions since they first started out. I'm counting the gamingvalue here and i ignore dominion. Twisted treeline was there from the start and ARAM was pretty much community driven.

: i think they are more afraid that adding a new map will divide the community getting players away from summoner's rift and twisted treeline queue (the latter has already such a poor playerbase) .
Absolutely! This is most definitely the issue. However, i dont think it's a reason to do nothing. If we assume that your statement is valid, they could still have brought the snow version of Summoners Rift back, and it's so simple, yet they wont. Is their reason, that it wouldnt bring any money and therefore not worth doing by them? Snowdown these days is all about discounts. I mean, please. This is a game, not a shop. I buy stuff, but its so secondary to the gaming itself. Their community presence is also, extremely absent. Look at the Riot symbol in the forum topics. The one that shows, an employee of Riot (probably from Ireland), answered in a thread. Its very rare, is there a reason it should be a rare thing? ABSOLUTELY NOT! No community presence whatsoever. If they had any, it died with Nikasaurs Vlogs.
