then how come a player who never spoke a word, but lost a frequent of his game got game win! restrictions on his account for only playing rankeds after level 30 back in 2014? was part of the trial and error run the kay3 ran after dropping starcraft2 as a game, I should know, I was in charge of the tests...

They were dealt as a consequence for verbal misbehaviour, not for "losing too much". And the deal was to _win_ draft games. not at all mate; You had restrictions for verbal and for abusive To Play Games and to Win Games..

Remember when LOSS and report in Ranked forced you to do 30 DRAFT or even WIN XX DRAFT Games because you lost to many rankeds? It was to protect RANKED mode-- Same thing can be applied for everything else
: Out of pure curiosity when do you expect the amount of reports ingame to be at its highest?

In the morning hours, when kids miss out on school (or sick-leave); after school.. and every time LCS; WCS and such is on.. Brings back all the ppl who saw a game and think they can perform as well.. nope

So if i ask em to stop trolling i get flaged; if they mess the game up further (which we were winning btw) i might get active in chat and complain.. thats considered negative, toxic and even flaming.. just because im frustrated. By removing the chance to use further lines for lifetime ppl like me who can play this but get matched with considerable less skilled players i wont get banned or lose my account, just because riot can not do their shit. It is not up to riot to make me "reform" my behaviour when they are the reason the matchmaking is broken that actually makes me (slowly, step by step) into a "toxic flamer" - who only gets negative due to the negative experience they are experiencing. instead of having fun - ppl get frustrated, there is a reason for that and that is often based upon less experienced (commongly known as bad or unskilled) players. So no ppl who complain alot - for understandable reasons - are not toxic per say just because they are negative; they are frustrated. toxic or flaming would be a different thing but its all the same to riot. complaining about bad perfomance is on pair with cancer-like insults; deaththreats or alike. you tell me your thoughts on that

did you even read my comment or are you just throwing around sarcastics?
Solash (EUW)
: Oh no, Riot's trying to make them game more enjoyable for everyone Lord forbid
you're a troll - arent ya? making normal statements are "negative" comments.. just because its hurtfull.. bubblewrapping bad players is not helpfull, its only deminishing moral and will ensure that ppl will not write anything in chat or start /mute all.. but you go ahead, mock me further just becuase you do not understand it.. :'D

: > Sadly they dont understand that this sort of "negative" behaviour on our end is from getting tilted or matched with ppl who should never ever been in this game in the first place I understand your frustration, but you have to be able not to let anger take over you. You are more than capable of handling things in a humane way. You don't have to sink down to their level of behaving. Fighting disputes with more disputes will create even more disputes, that's the point. And that's why you have the mute option in the game - to stop such players from reaching to you and let the report system do its job afterwards. If you're going to rage, flame, insult ( or perform any other act that might break the contract between you and Riot ) as a response to someone feeding or trolling, then you are also the culprit in this whole situation. The person feeding intentionally will get banned for their illicit act, and you will get penalized for your illicit and unsolicited act, which is flaming. The whole thing is pretty simple: **the law protects when it is protected**. > Thus said, they will rather throw ppl like you and me under the bus who are trying real hard to have a good time or invest money into the game and let the others run wild and ruin everyones mood.. because -> safespace That's not how the system works, fortunately. Every player that breaks the rules will get punished, sooner or later. You cannot hide forever, especially if you do something rather outrageous.

The whole thing is pretty simple: **the law protects when it is protected**. Yes and No . I just lost a nice game because I got matched vs 2x 2 Pre (one of which was clearly scripting) ; teamed with a a feeding Botlane, an creepstealing Veigar and I was actually screaming at my screen why the f**k do I always get these players. Its not about having myself in control or beeing able to; I shouldnt be put in that scenario in the first place where people are unprotected from unskilled players. That is part of the job that Rito Games has to manage and to handle during matchmaking. I've come to accept that I only play /mute all and do my thing and still getting reported for negative in the long run.. There goes sportmanship. Btw. my lasts accounts got banned in the end for "negative" and "Toxcity" because i actually said ~please report nasus for feed. and "can you stop feeding"... so here goes that. I dont see myself beeing protected from something that is considered "scrub-playing" or marked as the .03% that is toxic... but thats how the "law protects teh system" > > That's not how the system works, fortunately. Every player that breaks the rules will get punished, sooner or later. You cannot hide forever, especially if you do something rather outrageous. Playing Teemo Support; Garen Jungle; Leona Top == doing something rather outrageous == getting punished What you and I refering to is that Trolls or ppl with "Bad Game" will get punished and not away with it.. the later is often the case

yes it does. when RITO creates an environment where "negative attitude" (such as report lane x for feed; stop feeding pls; why you feed; you suck; you play bad; pls dont play rankeds etc) counts as punishable they are enforcing a safe zone / safe-space for people who are actually bad in this game. How is their behaviour by protecting the "weak and bad" not creating a safespace where negative comments regarding their failures is seen as safe zone?

When ~report lane for feed pls .. counts as toxic and negative (even though its the truth because that lane ended up 0-12-X) after 20minutes forcing an early FF; its just understandable.. But for RITO its negative therefor the feeder can continune and you get the flag... Its not fair but you learn to adept your words eventually
: Well, the best tool to avoid that is the mute option. It does its job, that's for sure, and everything else is up to you. You have to understand that striking back in the same way you were hurt will do you no good. If anything, it will just makes things worse for you and your team in general. It will also get in you in trouble if you overdo it ( you can get penalized ). Stop caring so much about what other people think, especially if you know that what they're saying makes no sense. You have to throw that "I give a damn" card out the window and focus on your game and yourself only. Everything else will just hinder you in achieving what you want. It seems like it's hard to do, but trust me, it's way easier than having to deal with toxic players. Mute people and focus on your game and you will see the magic happen. Those who are breaking the rules will surely get punished afterwards, so you don't have to worry about that. And remember: never try to justify yourself to people who are commited to trolling you and making flippant remarks. It's a waste of time. {{champion:43}} "Never become a monster to defeat one."

I just had another outlash because my teammates where feeding {{champion:412}} Not going into details here, but they basicly had like 40farms when i had 100+; i was 2-1; they stood X-3 or worse so not really the team you wanna play with but are forced to; Enemy Toplane and Jungler were premade; jgl was clearly scripting. So after Botlane realized they cant do scrubs - they started surrenderspamming.. eventually I lost my temper and told him to stop that bs and why they feed, troll and then surrenderspam; they should go uninstall and such.. long context short -> go /mute all and just try to have fun; its the only thing that you can do with certain ppl that riot loves so much. Sadly they dont understand that this sort of "negative" behaviour on our end is from getting tilted or matched with ppl who should never ever been in this game in the first place. Policy however is the game is for everyone - that includes feeding, flaming & toxic {{champion:412}} . Thus said, they will rather throw ppl like you and me under the bus who are trying real hard to have a good time or invest money into the game and let the others run wild and ruin everyones mood.. because -> safespace tl:dr GO /mute all -- enjoy
