: > His ban could maybe be because of that error. If it is, support would consider that. However, that still leaves the problem of the account being sold, which in itself is punished by permabans.
and btw he didnt even log in on the offical lol site, so giving his infos on a random site is out of question xD

: No it can't happen to us lol :D, we do not share login info with others, we have different usernames then nicknames so not knowing the password can give a chance for some hacker to bruteforce into your account but not knowing password and username is impossible. we keep emails safe, pc cleans and do not hunt free rp/skins scam sites we do not donate to the email that we got with a kid that have cancer, and we do not give somebody 1000euro so he can send us back 1 million euro and if a fat red man sneak in night in our home we know its not Santa
he doesn't share his login infos, so thats out of question

: Your friend will have to submit a ticket to support, but I would honestly not keep my hopes up. I highly doubt Riot will be able to do anything for your friend, since the account was banned for using 3rd party tools. Riot has to be very firm on bans like this. If they gave your friend their account back, anyone could come and claim that the time their account was banned for 3rd party tools, the account was stolen.
He already did submit a ticket. And about the 3rd party tools, if i call correctly wasn't there an error where people got kicked out of games at that time (me included because apparently i was running 3rd party tools, which is obviously false. I hadn't run anything at the back) His ban could maybe be because of that error.

: > I mean this dude isn't that guilty. He thought he bought an inactive account, which is not the case. Purchasing accounts in itself is a violation of the ToU, so he's not innocent. --- > This Account was hacked or they got this data Usually this happens due to the account owner either sharing it with someone that has bad intentions, getting phished by logging into a fake site that's set up steal their credentials, or having their e-mail compromised (so they can obtain password reset mails). Another cause may be password leaks from other services where the user has used the exact same credentials. As long as people use unique passwords that don't exist on any common password list, it's highly unlikely that people will be able to enter your account. --- The person who created the account is ultimately responsible for ensuring the account credentials are kept securely. I honestly doubt Riot can provide them with the account in return after something like this happens.
> Purchasing accounts in itself is a violation of the ToU, so he's not innocent. Yeah you are right. > Usually this happens due to the account owner either sharing it with someone He is really strict about sharing information, so this option falls off I just want him to get his Account back and get the people who have done this to be punished.
