: Actually i only got a warning once, and that was 4 years ago. Never had any chat restriction, nor have i had any bans. All i am saying is that it's impossible in a competitive environment to always keep calm, when other people are **intentionally destroying a game**. And i agree that flaming someone for having a bad game is wrong. I do not agree that those players, intentionally destroying a game, should be patted on the back for the nice people they are. In my opinion these are clearly cases where Riot has to step in swiftly and decisively to stop these players from destroying other games. In the current state, they can easily do this for months (if not more) before being banned by Riot. I know Riot's TOS is more like law than physics, but you can view this in different ways. Fact is: There is a flamer problem is league of legends. Now you can do 2 things: Just ignore the problems and ban everyone who violates the TOS. Or..... Find the root cause of the problem and fix that. So as a conclusion: - Yes, people flaming for no reason should be acted on. - No, i do not agree players who are flaming players who are INTENTIONALLY destroying a game, should be punished. I think Riot should punish the root cause of these flamers, and then they will automatically stop. But it seems we should just agree to disagree.

again, you don´t get the point. i´m breaking the rules by calling a moron a moron and i do get punished for it by getting chat restriction, but the moron who is feeding intentional to ruin a game on purpose, which is leading me to call him a moron does NOT get punished at all even though his crime should be punished harder alone because HE can MUTE my crime but I can NOT mute his crime

: You're welcome Mr.Trying to find excuses for me not being able to use a brain.
Xr1pper (EUW)
: that happens cause people think ''is a normal game , or is only a ranked game'' and do not report .
then play one every 20 games and you wont. how else do you explain all those china bots in ebay? lvl 30 accounts are flooding ebay! play a 3v3 with a low level account and you will see one yourself, then go and check his history, 0-10-0 0- 17-0 0-2-0 0-12-1 etc etc etc

the league of legends rules, are the law here. you can call it a codex,a code, a law or a rule, in the end,its all the same!
Shiwah (EUW)
: ***
why do you differ between laws? i could call the league of legends law racist too... a law is a law, only because people see it differently NOW doesnt change the fact that it WAS a law to that time, here it IS a law that you should not insult people, but maybe we will see it differently in a few years

: It's not being human,it's being stupid.
thats a really great comment, thank you! quite an inspiration!
: According to my comment, read with a bit of reading comprehension, trolling is harder to detect than flaming, thus flaming can get punished faster. Read, Think, Read again to make sure you actually understood the post, Reply
nope, you are wrong. intentionally feeders do NOT get banned at all and there is plenty of proof out there. naming and shaming isnt allowed but just play a 3v3 game with an account under lvl 30 and you will see. they are all boosting up to lvl 30 without a single win and then they sell them, thats just one example! others troll to reduce their elo,i even know someone who does and he always laughs when i ask if het got banned yet
: Toxic behaviour will be punished no matter if it's a troll or a flamer. The thing about flamers getting punished sooner is because being toxic in chat is way easier to detect than subtle trolling.
according to your statement intentionally feeding isnt toxic behaviour then, like i said, there are plenty accounts out there with 0 punishment who feed every game

she actually broke the law, which is (if you compare the laws back then and today) a worse crime then the one i comitted and this is proving my point. you protect her because she changed something, back then people saw it as a crime, like you see me calling someone a moron as a crime. however,if i would have done it and changed the complete community attitude with it, you (the league players) would celebrate me like they celebrated rosa parks back then!
: We are all human. Even trolls. You have to decide if you want to be a mature or immature human. Here is the difference. Then, if you want more punishment for trolls, I'm in. But this can't excuse toxic behaviours.
its not always beeing about mature or immature, is Putin acting childish when he says America created ISIS? was Rosa Parks childish when she said her feet hurt and she wanted to sit down asap? no! sometimes you just have to say it how it is! like i said, calling a moron a moron is nothing immature or toxic or what so ever, if you dont want people to call you a moron, don´t act like a moron
Doomley (EUW)
: Getting emotional and making mistakes because of it is being a human. The point he has is still valid. Riot should be quicker to punish trolls and not so much verbally toxic people because it's easy to prevent verbal abuse but it's impossible to prevent trolling without the help of riot. Chinese servers actually have a voting system that let's the team vote if they think someone is intentionally feeding. The vote can't be triggered by players but it is triggered by the system automatically when the parameters are acceptable.
Neonchan (EUW)
: beeing a douchbag isn't beeing human
am i a douchebag when i call a rapist a rapist? is a woman who got robbed by all hear earnings from a scammer a douchbag when he calls that man a %%%%ing asshole? i know,i overexaggerate, but actions lead to reactions and if you behave like that, it´s a normal human behaviour to react to it in a mad tone don´t you agree on that?
Sherrinka (EUNE)
: No one is telling you to stop behaving like a human, they are telling you to not behave like a jackass. There is a difference between that. + Flaming is easier to correctly identify and punish that inting or "trolling". When you tell people they are pathetic and full of shit, it makes for a pretty clear case, whereas a bad KDA doesnt immediately mean that the person was feeding on purpose.
if someone is going online to ruin a game for others on purpose, his behavior is pathetic. if someone is lying to blame only to provoke others or make it look like they didnt do anything (when they are 0-100-0 top and say "you never ganked") then they ARE full of shit. i´m not talking about people who are having a bad game,i´m talking about straight up intentioanl feeding, like i wrote it above!
Perilum (EUW)
: I've the feeling I already read the same text once. Stay away from the game, if you're unable to behave like a normal human being. To be an asshole who insults people has nothing to do with "human" behavior.
pls, take your team and try to read the text before you are making accusations
Rioter Comments
: Does Riot support level bots?
well, i´m done with this, i see now why people buy accounts! riot has a problem and they obviously dont care about it! EVERY V4 player is a bot and in 8 out of 10 bot games you play with 2 of them, but yeha, too hard to find them and too hard to react to the reports, GG riot, well done ruining this for new players!
InTheory (EUW)
: These accounts are banned in waves from Riot. Since they only need a few days to get to lvl 30 they are normaly not banned in the process of leveling. The accounts are then later banned, sometimes after they were sold. Reason for the thing is to hide the detection system from riot so that these bots can not be scripted to dodge the detection. This means that most botting accounts get their full matches and ruin the game experience of hundreds/thousands of players before they are banned, which is sad.
yes it is sad and i dont get how they can not be banned earlier,i mean, you need soooo many games to lvl 30 and i´m sure i´m not the only one reporting them! its a shame -.-

just as a hint, counter measures are possible on both sides!
Infernape (EUW)
: I asked Riot support on Twitter. That was their answer. Riot don't say when there are waves (rightfully so). But I'm guessing they're as often as their waves for third party programs.
k thanks for the info. playing a couple months now,had at least 20+ bot sin my team, not once i got that "thanks for reporting message" -.-
Infernape (EUW)
: That's because bots are dealt with differently to toxic players. Toxic players are punished by the instant feedback system. Bots are banned in large regular waves. Riot use player reports to manually open investigations and when they have a large amount of bots, they ban them all in one fell swoop. Bots are like hydras, you ban one, two more take its place.
source to this? how often do they do that? once every decade?
archerno1 (EUNE)
: They dont support it. They just cant do alot about it. Its like asking "Does police support illegal download of games"
no its not! they have a "program" to find "flamers" but they cant find accounts with an average kda of -20??? and i report them, but nothing happens!
