: Thresh Hook pass throught Yasuo Wall
As much as I hate yasuo, I have to admit there's some %%%%ed up algorithm allowing skillshots to hit targets which are no longer supposed to be reachable, and it's even more sad when you know it exists on top of the forced win/lose matchmaking. There's clips out there of nautilus grabbing champions through walls in the river junctions, pyke ults linking a target that's not in the hitbox anymore, qiyana's R also, it's ridiculous and absolutely disgusting...
: Anyone else noticed an increase in toxic behaviour?
When riot releases champions with more and more toxic designs/reworks and expects the community to stay cool as a cucumber :3
: Then go on. Play him and get my 70% winrate with him.
12 year old argument here we go "if X is op/easy to play why don't you play X ?" because not everyone enjoys playing games on easy mode ? would you play skyrim on super easy ? I mean it has nothing to do with league but come on, the only reason people grab the most broken and easy to play champions in the game is that they can feel good by putting other people down with their KDA, grow the f*ck up. Pyke is broken, he has been nerfed, be happy he's not nerfed more and you can still R faceroll in teamfights.
: The Pyke nerfs.. too horrible.
If anything Pyke needs other nerfs, on his gold generation, on his R damage and hitboxes , hell, he needs a %%%%ing rework so he's not the annoying "pressRtoOutplayxXx" champion he's always been, he should've never existed with such a design in the first place...
Shrekler (EUW)
: Can we make Illaoi attractive?
"the most unattractive female character in the game" laughs in {{champion:421}}
Cadynn (EUW)
: ***
Bet that's why you're playing vel koz, pyke and katarina, all mages ;D
JustTits (EUNE)
: Not sure if releasing games is a good idea, when..
: I don't understand why Riot hasn't responded yet on this matter, It is so frustrating!!
Better prevent people from dodging than actually fixing the broken game leading to games lost at champ select :P
: Its a waste of time maining Qiyana
If you can't play her, the problem isn't on the character, Akali has a 43% winrate yet she's still an abomination to play against, get good, play characters who will make you learn the game, not assassins.
Kuro Senso (EUNE)
: Tanks
Tanks have always been fairly poor mechanically, but hey most often rely on the rest of their team to take down targets (except abominations like {{champion:36}} {{champion:223}} who just run you down with HP) Today, with the damage creep and the community being what it is, assassins are everywhere, tanks cannot tank much anymore unless they have built-in invulnerability/high sustain/damage reduction, they are one of if not THE weakest champion class in the game. Yes they are simple to play (95% of popular champions are), yes their base damage is high since every champion has high base damage now and yes they are frustrating to play against as an assassin because they're supposed to counter you. It doesn't mean they are broken by any means.
SANEakaIN (EUW)
: I am curious why Panth is perma banned in worlds
Pantheon, as most recent reworks and champions, is overtuned, has too much base damage, and is too reliable for how much he provides to a team while having a very strong laning phase. While most people barely figured it out and just went ape shit like he's the new yasuo or something, pro players did figure him out and banned him.
: My hopes (and fears) for the preseason changes.
Add 2 second cooldown to every spell in the game and 10 second to every ultimate in the game (+1 additional second for every manaless champion in the game), reduce every champion's damage by 30% at least, make the rune system come back, fix broken reworks and overloaded kits ... remove the tower plate system, remove true damage based on maximum HP, make tenacity affect bumps and turn it up to 35% on boots, fix the broken hitboxes for spells and turrets, fix the rigged matchmaking and then we'll talk about making the game enjoyable again ._. Edit: in short, bring back the possibility to outplay without it being simple math due to unavoidable excess of damage and cc in 2v1 situations
: So will they nerf akali again?
Akali is broken by design, even if her numbers were cut in half, she could still 10/0 most matchups top lane and probably half of the midlane matchups. That's what riot wants > ''flashy'' characters (if they are female they can be sexy, so it's a bonus for the 90% male community {{champion:84}} {{champion:28}} {{champion:114}} {{champion:39}} {{champion:55}} {{champion:7}} {{champion:145}} {{champion:518}} {{champion:246}} {{champion:133}} {{champion:92}} {{champion:142}} {{sticker:sg-miss-fortune}} )
: He is the most OP TFT champion in early phases...
And yet he disappears after stage 3 or 4 at best ...
: TFT Kassadin doesnt make sense
Welp, I guess that explains why you almost never see kassadin in TFT, but you know riot has a history of bad design choices and balance decisions :D
: can a few champions get a buff or mini rework after worlds
Yeah, rework/buff those, and not characters like {{champion:9}} {{champion:22}} {{champion:42}} {{champion:427}} {{champion:96}} {{champion:89}} {{champion:57}} {{champion:20}} {{champion:33}} {{champion:113}} {{champion:102}} {{champion:27}} {{champion:14}} {{champion:72}} {{champion:44}} {{champion:77}} {{champion:26}} {{champion:62}} {{champion:106}} who barely see play. We must rework and or buff these cancerous recent designs instead of nerfing them :3
: once a veigar get fed its game over, u can't get to him cause that oversised cage at way to long range and he just 1 shots everyone. just had a game where enemy veigar could 1 shot everyone with mr at min 10. game was over all we could do is turtle towers till none was left and we lost.
yeah that's why veigar is banned/picked in every game whereas characters like {{champion:157}} {{champion:555}} {{champion:84}} {{champion:238}} barely see any play, they're just not viable ;)
: Yuumi's champion design is toxic
Yuumi's deisgn is toxic ? how about {{champion:84}} {{champion:28}} {{champion:245}} {{champion:36}} {{champion:114}} {{champion:105}} {{champion:39}} {{champion:126}} {{champion:55}} {{champion:141}} {{champion:121}} {{champion:7}} {{champion:518}} {{champion:82}} {{champion:11}} {{champion:117}} {{champion:246}} {{champion:555}} {{champion:80}} {{champion:107}} {{champion:92}} {{champion:223}} {{champion:517}} {{champion:8}} {{champion:67}} {{champion:23}} {{champion:62}} {{champion:5}} {{champion:157}} {{champion:238}} {{champion:142}} ? Were you just born ? Did you never realize riot was pushing toxic designs on purpose so that they could attract new players and have them do "flashy" things with no effort ?
JustTits (EUNE)
: Remove the True Damage from Pyke
Reverting the buffs they did to him during last year's worlds would be a good start, long base damage at level 6 and not doubling gold on solo kills would calm Pyke a fair bit.
Anoligarh (EUW)
: What champion(s) do you find genuinely fun, enjoyable and exciting?
{{champion:432}} {{champion:17}} {{champion:112}}
: Why can't Kai sa get the Azir treatment?
What do you think about giving the azir treatment to zoe instead since her whole design is less interactive, more toxic and oppressive than kai'sa's ?
: Also, since Yasuo is very popular, the biggest fan favourite, why isn't he getting buffed then?
Well they already buffed {{champion:92}} and {{champion:84}} for patch 9.18 and 9.19 right before worlds, even if they don't hide anymore, adding yasuo to the mix would probably have been too much I guess, just ask them, I bet they care a lot about what the community wants to know when they %%%% up the game more and more patch after patch. They've been quite clear about their will to ignore the people trying to bring balance back to the game, they'd rather make more money :]
: Irelia was nerfed a couple of times, she deserves a buff with all those Darius players around. Her early game is already fragile, so stop complaining and learn how to play against her. Don't like her? Ban her. She deserves a buff, I am staying on my word.
Stay on your word all you want, riot tends to buff champions who do not need it if said champions are fan-favorites aka selling skins, so Irelia might be buffed next year for worlds, it doesn't mean she's weak though :]
: I have an argument for that: 1) Her E is one of the hardest spells to hit (despite of it's "infinite range"). It's a very thin skill shot that has a relatively long cooldown. But I guess, the cooldown of it could be made higher in favour of you whining, so that her Q buff won't feel oppressive. It also deals no damage, since you don't really build AP on her. 2) Her W deals next to no damage, yes, it's used for defensive purposes, I know. But still, I cannot count that as a damaging spell. It's damage could be nerfed in favour of this buff as well. 3) Her R was nerfed to the void, and I mean it. Before, you could disarm enemies with it and it was OP. Now it just slows them and deals a low amount of damage (yes, magic damage but eh... scales with AP), so again, almost no damage. 125/250/375 isn't a lot. So in order to be good with her - you have to main her. Her Q is her only real damage spell... it deserves some love.
If anything Irelia should be nerfed, not buffed, asking for irelia buffs makes me wonder if you have any shame at all {{sticker:zombie-brand-mindblown}}
: I play Yasuo for fun, and no, I'm not toxic in chat, unlike the people whomst i play with, telling me how simple my champ is or how lucky I'm.
I'd just say that fun is supposed to be on both sides, hence, I don't play Yasuo {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}
: Yea I've got another advice for LoL players: Stop telling OTPs how to play their champs, they probably have more knowledge on champ and know better how to use it, than average LoL Player.
Tryndamere/yasuo main, a man of culture, as expected {{sticker:sg-miss-fortune}}
: I like the concept of "unwillingly lose". Because when, exactly, are you "willing" to lose? {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}
It's more about unwinlingly being garbage I guess, when you're 10/6/2 but you denied 100 cs to say your jungler and adc, you"re unwillingly losing because of your own stupidity. Today there's more and more players with an ego so big it actually prevents their teammates from playing the game. That's what I would call "unwillingly lose".

Well I've not been spamming ranked games this season due to time issues. However, when I do I find myself in a spot where I'm struggling to know what to ban because the lack of sheer op-champions. The past few season I always had a list of 3+ champs in my mind, that I'd either ban or fp if possible and possibly even queue dodge if the enemy team get them. But this season... I don't know. There is nothing really standing out; at least not in the bracket silver to platinum where my accounts fall into. Riot did a really great job at nerfing champions who were just straight out op or cancerous in general this season. > [{quoted}](name=KmSneaky,realm=EUW,application-id=39gqIYVI,discussion-id=LKYERAxd,comment-id=00010002,timestamp=2019-09-27T08:30:05.624+0000) > > But in short as people mentionned, the rigged matchmaking system which forces you to go on winning/losing streaks so you play more and not stagnate The "rigged matchmaking" system :D Is there any proof of being the case or is it just subjective experience and anecdotes from the forums? I don't know but on multiple accounts across two servers I seem to be unable to encounter this rigged system myself. All I know is that the new ranked system and the eloinlfation early skewed a lot of the ranked latter and also people who came back after TFT was introduced and got into ranked after years of hiatus with what feels like super random MMR adds to the pain. However, I've never seen any proof or such that anything is rigged though. If you think that winnning/losing streaks are rigged, maybe you should do a calculation on how probable those are compared to whatever you think the default should be in a non rigged system. I highly doubt you will find that the system is actually rigged but I'm open to change my mind once you provide such a calculation or any other form of proof. > [{quoted}](name=KmSneaky,realm=EUW,application-id=39gqIYVI,discussion-id=LKYERAxd,comment-id=00010002,timestamp=2019-09-27T08:30:05.624+0000) > > less and less spells with counterplay or interactivity and stupid buffs (just watch the world's patch ffs?) Can you name a few exapmles of spells with no counterplay that were added in the past few months? I can't really think of any (after they added that you can flash Quiyana E). > [{quoted}](name=KmSneaky,realm=EUW,application-id=39gqIYVI,discussion-id=LKYERAxd,comment-id=00010002,timestamp=2019-09-27T08:30:05.624+0000) > > the worse and worse input of strategy in the game, since now you pretty much have to pick 4-5 early characters and cheese your way to victory since there's pretty much no late game anymore. I guess that's why we got Corki Azir every game just a few months ago and we get Xayah Kaisa everygame now (with some Ezreal in between). And not to forget about the Sivir dominance earlier this season. The consistently high winrate of Jinx and the mergence of botlane Twitch all seem to hint that there is "pretty much no late game anymore". Not to forget the dark harvest Jungle Karthus which got nerfed several times and still is a viable hyper scaling option.
Regarding the rigged matchmaking, if riot were foolish enough to let their data available on the web they'd have been sued already, but if you follow any high elo league streamers you can see examples of 10-12 win/lose streaks, with clear matchmaking tweaks to force the results of games , either by putting you with people with 60%+ winrate or 40%- winrate, that would be for the least pushed algorithm. Then you have the rigged matchmaking putting you in games with people far above/below your elo, or with/against people who tend to ragequit their games. You're free not to believe me, riot actually knows what it's doing, if you play 30 games a day (and I hope not) , going 2 wins/ 2 lose etc, your brain gets no dopamine/endorphine surge, you feel no satisfaction, if you go 15 wins/15 lose your gets brain pumped during your win streak, and your losing streak is compensated by the feeling you are able to get a high win streak and get satisfaction again. In both cases, your elo may stay the same, but in one, you keep playing because you're addicted. Regarding the strategy/counterplays in the game, Riot has been creating and pushing characters with mechanics based on auto attacks {{champion:39}} {{champion:67}} {{champion:145}} {{champion:114}} {{champion:11}} {{champion:517}} {{champion:92}} mobility/high damage {{champion:238}} {{champion:157}} {{champion:84}} {{champion:555}} {{champion:141}} {{champion:55}}{{champion:107}} {{champion:246}} {{champion:92}} {{champion:245}} {{champion:517}} CD resets {{champion:11}} {{champion:55}} {{champion:121}} {{champion:122}} {{champion:555}} untargetable/invisible/invincible {{champion:84}} {{champion:121}} {{champion:28}} {{champion:141}} {{champion:238}} {{champion:105}} Simple and straightforward rewarding kits {{champion:36}} {{champion:223}}{{champion:11}} {{champion:86}} {{champion:24}} {{champion:23}} manaless/ressourceless oppressive characters {{champion:55}} {{champion:84}} {{champion:36}} {{champion:92}} {{champion:82}} {{champion:8}} ETC Most of the champions above can be listed in more than one category and I forgot a lot I'm certain.When you look at the figures about play rate /ban rate etc on websites like OPgg (and this data is still available since arguments can be made about pro/con every sentence) You realize that characters with one or more than one trait I mentionned above get significantly higher play rate and pick rate. Why ? because they are "flashy" because they make sells, because the majority of the player base finds them interesting, either because they're fun to play (not to play against though) or because they recquire less learning before getting results (kills/damage etc) You didn't adress my point about patch 9.19 and the worlds, they just buffed characters like {{champion:114}} {{champion:92}} {{champion:84}} {{champion:28}} during 9.18 and 9.19 for NO other reason than to incite pro players to pick them and show the other 99.99% of the player base how fun/flashy/strong they would be if they played these characters who should've never been created in the first place. I can't blame riot for wanting to make money and sell skins, I can blame them for taking wrong turns after wrong turns in order to simplify/grab younger and younger players/denaturate a game I discovered and fell in love with ten years ago. If you don't see it, if you haven't been around since this game's beta, if you just keep your opinion about how nothing is wrong and the game is enjoyable, then good for you, but I don't share your opinion.

: I'll remind you that if you're asking this question you haven't been paying much attention to the game. But in short as people mentionned, the rigged matchmaking system which forces you to go on winning/losing streaks so you play more and not stagnate, the lack of sanctions for toxic players, the of course neverending broken new kits/reworks, less and less spells with counterplay or interactivity and stupid buffs (just watch the world's patch ffs?), the worse and worse input of strategy in the game, since now you pretty much have to pick 4-5 early characters and cheese your way to victory since there's pretty much no late game anymore.
Oh also, but that would be a detail for the EUW boards I guess, but some forums for other countries (ex: France) have been deleted and replaced with a discord, which is just NOT adapted for communication with riot, even less with other players since you don't even have a "reply" option, some people at riot are getting tired of hearing about us calling them out on their bullshit choices, but they just ignore us or delete our options instead of adressing them :]
: What exactly is so unbalanced about the game right now? Everything severly unbalanced seems to be patched imo
I'll remind you that if you're asking this question you haven't been paying much attention to the game. : The Main Problem with Season 6...
"Mechanically simple champions are more rewarding then complex ones" This. Playing since season 1 I've never had this amount of no-fun-allowed games. It's always the same stupid champions over and over again. Random tank with a very high damage/resistance/sustain ratio in the toplane. Random tank with previous qualities OR mobile damage champion jungle (hello kha/rengar/ekko/lee/J4/Vi...). Yasuo/Zed mid if they are open, or if they aren't then you have some decent champs like ahri/azir/viktor, but it's way too rare. Then the botlane is often "#theprossaidit'sgud" + the support role which seems to not be touched by this cancerous meta since supports often don't have to deal damage (except for agressive ones but hey, it happens). I had a very nice time playing Viktor and TF, even if facing Zed/yasuo nearly every game was boring as fuck. Now Riot literally destroyed viktor's laning phase, junglers can come mid and just say ''hey I don't want you to have a nice game'' and you can just flash or die. This game hasn't been fun to play for way too long if you ask me. People just pick what is broken and don't even try to learn the game. Who never had one of these overplayed champions (insert glass canon/flavor of the month champion list here) in his/her game going 0/6 in ten minutes and losing the game alone ? These days you can't have short queues even in gold, 5-10 minutes to find a game ? Hello empty servers, no wonder why tho, a lot a players simply left this game for overwatch or simply because they're tired about riots balance policy.
