then they get a chat ban and carry on trolling. its not very effective. they dont care and the other team mates still get screwed over.

That IP isn't associated with l3cdn.riotgames.com at all, so it looks like something local is telling it it is. A. Dont ask to be boosted. If you're stuck in bronze, there's a reason. You're clearly not good enough to climb right now, and being boosted will just ruin the other 4 people's game in higher elos. B. Stop playing jungle. Seriously, I can 80% guarantee you're playing it wrong. Seriously. Being low elo, I do weird cheesy tactics that tilt the enemy jungler during their first clear. I'm a cancer jungler. Also to be the jungler you have to be the smartest guy in the game. If you dont think you are, dont. Honestly, you have to be opportunistic, greedy and antagonistic to be an effective jungler. Ward their jung in key areas you think you'd find them being low. Look at the movements of laners. If your mid laner lowers the enemy mid laner to half and you see them going towards their blue, that's your time to strike. kill em and bail. that kinda thing. And finally, play noob champs. seriously, no one in low elo can play lee, so dont try. Play champs that you can win by licking your keyboard. Wanna have fun? Normals. Wanna win? Do that. There is no honor in league. Undercut whenever you can.

dude I posted a week or 2 back about some riven player in bronze, whose mechanics were suspisciously too on-point, who was elo boosting. you could tell because before maining riven, his wins were spotty and with random characters. Riot were like, "well he's been good with riven in previous seasons..." and bust. Rito dont really care anymore cos it means elo boosted players will most likely spend money on skins and stuff. meh

Because it only gives you 2 wards, while sightstone gives you 3. Because unless your team is already ahead, you won't do much counterjungling, and if your team is ahead, it won't need its support to do the counterjungling. Krepo already did it, a year or so ago. an insane amount of research :/ Being in South Africa, you cant really expect much help from ping and packet loss tests, you have to kinda average it out. so after doing that I did research on the Seacom line that broke in Egypt. Ruling that out I phoned the people I rent my line from (Telkom SA. They kinda have a monopoly here :/) and they tested my line and it seemed fine. So I hopped on the South African gamer facebook group and asked my question. Figures my ISP (Mweb) has been providing less than adequate service to their customers as of late. so I fiddled around as much as I could, updated drivers as much as I could, and cancelled my membership with them. Next month I will be with a new ISP that will hopefully be able to provide better service. Until then I'll have to cope with whatever packet loss and high ping issues I have :/. Yay for 3rd world internet :D

I'm referring to an issue that occurred post-maintenance where (and it's difficult to describe), it seems like there was a syncing issue between game and server, where it seemed like a mix between lag and packet loss...but heavily. I would be playing a game, then people would seem to teleport around (much like the season 2 urgot flash hack), and life bars would disappear. The game would sort of catch up in stages, then ask to be reconnected. Once reconnected, it would seem like I was the only player on the map, and minions would be stuck without life bars, attacking targets eternally. However since the patch yesterday, it seems as if it has been abated. But this seems to be a regular occurrence post-maintenance patches for some reason. Perhaps a syncing issue with the clients and updated software? But yea, that was the issue I was speaking of (I've contacted my ISPs, and they seemed to claimed not to be responsible...as usual) Honestly, and I'm not making excuses because I would be the first to push an issue like this internally - but this sounds more like a packet loss issue. Our patches, for as long as I can remember, change nothing network related - the connectivity within LoL remains the same. If an issue occurs around the same time as a patch, it's purely coincidental - network changes on the internet happen all day every day - with or without our (or your ISP's) consent. The internet is extremely dynamic, and there's just so many routes and options out there that it can be very difficult to track down where an issue can lie. In cases like this, I'd advise running traces as mentioned [HERE](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752674-Network-System-and-League-of-Legends-Logs#wq2). I'd even advise running these the odd time when you're *not* having issues, to have something to compare against routing wise should issues occur - if you find you're regularly getting network issues. Right now on our radar, we're aware of Russia having some issues unfortunately involving multiple ISP's, which our networking team are doing their best to resolve. Secondly, issues with potential port blocking in Egypt. Outside of those two "major" issues that land outside our network, I'm not aware of anything on a large scale like the issues you're mentioning. Run the traces, and get in touch with our [player support](http://support.leagueoflegends.com) if this is a recurring issue - these guys work with individual issues on a daily basis, and can hopefully either help you get it resolved, or at least help track down where the issue may lie. If it is indeed something ISP related, hopefully our support team can help you find where it lies and give you something to go back to them with. We have no magic fixes for these sorts of issues unfortunately, but we'll still do our utmost to assist where we can :-)

From the moment we could confirm issues we put up messaging - it's both in client, on the service status page, and some posts in the announcements boards with further information. Issues outside of this, I may not be aware of (I'm off shift at the moment). There's multiple ways we look at issues, and there's many of them outside of our control. Issues with high ping or latency for example, we may not have any control over. We try our best to work with ISP's during times of issues, we're constantly striving to improve our service (with initiatives such as Riot Direct), and peer with as many networks and ISP's as we can to not only fix issues within our remit - but also assist ISP's and backbone providers and work alongside them. We take player issues extremely seriously. (and if it comes across that we don't, I can only apologise - we're extremely passionate about what we do - as both employees and gamers!) Unfortunately we can't fix everything - if it were possible to give everyone a flawless ISP with perfect cabling and a router right behind their computer to avoid them using wireless so they get the best game experience possible - we would! That's just not possible however, and a lot of issues we simply do not have the capability to fix. Anything that happens on our end, however, we will do our utmost to fix in the quickest time. One thing I'm extremely proud of with Riot, and it attracted me to them in the first place - is our player focus. We don't just see a bunch of numbers disconnecting. We see players and gamers, just like us, having a crappy, frustrating, unpleasant experience. We want that no more than you do, and we feel it when it happens - again not only because it "hurts the business", but because we're experiencing the same thing while trying to play, or we've experienced it in the past and know how it feels. As Network Operations I look at things at a wider scale, but our player support guys look at things individually, one on one - and working alongside them we try to get as many players on the Fields of Justice and having a fun experience when we can :-) If I'm misunderstanding the issue you're referencing please let me know - but we've definitely been messaging on this issue!

: Hi Eambo. Thanks for your post. Here's my issue with the server posts and such, the answers and explanations seem so nonchalant, that it seems almost as if the issues interrupting game-play aren't being taken seriously, and it is incredibly unnerving. The explanations always seem to be pointing the finger at me saying "well it's most likely on your end", when there are other players across different countries having the same problem. Even when you are working on the issues, the method of delivery is really insincere and makes Riot Games seem like it's the last thought on on their mind. I hope you understand where I'm coming from. It's an interpersonal issue. Perhaps you dont have to replay to each and every single thread and comment so much as make a megathread on the main page- such as the phishing scams thread- or use the exclamation mark thing to notify players that there are issues being resolved at the moment, so as to make players feel that they have been heard and the issue is being resolved. People want to know that their issues are being taken seriously, more than anything. So this just seems (to me at least) as the most effective way to do so. I appreciate your participation in this conversation as a Riot employee.

As you can imagine, if we spent the entire time replying to every thread on the boards that crops up, then we'd make very little progress in triaging and resolving the actual issue. In instances like this, we always post something on our [Service Status Page](http://status.leagueoflegends.com). Often it can be a bit vague, but we post there as soon as we're working on an issue. Generally the reason why you get the information *after* an issue is because we were working on the issue at the time, and when we've got things under control and resolved - that's when we have the time to make a coherent post with information broken down. We also have to cater for a much wider audience than just English, which can add extra delay, as we ensure we get translations for issues and follow up posts as best we can. This isn't intended as me saying your points aren't valid - however it's to give you a little insight as to why posting on the boards and replying to hundreds of posts as they come in may not be top priority, and why we strive to use Service Status - and finally why posts detailing the issues are normally after the issue has been resolved.

its cos Riot did maintenance. It happens every time. What they do is, they say they're doing maintenance whenever, and to make us think its a good thing, they'll screw up the servers really badly. the problem is then when they do maintenance they can't unscrew up what they've screwed up. so it takes a year to fix, so december is great. but the season is finished, and the cycle goes on. theyre pretty full of crap.
