so what you're suggesting is, that the R becomes a skill shot instead? so he has to make sure his path is clear before rift walking? does this include creeps, or just champions solely?

True... I usually ignore the damage from his R as well XD. But I think maybe we can start stack 1 with 550 instead of 450.

TBH, I think Veigar is definitely strong. Land a full combo on you and you're dead AND you can't do anything about it! I don't play Veigar as main, but I play Kassadin! GJ Riot, killing at least 2 champs in this batch. But the thing about Veigar is that he's too squishy, a bit like Heim, but you can't get close to Heim because of the turrets, whereas the only thing to stop Veigar from getting ass-raped when the enemy gets close is the E, by stunning them. So I think Riot wants us to predict when the enemy is going to launch an attack and get E out before then. How nice
: Kassadin's Nerf
I quite like your idea. I mean, the buff on R for Kassadin is just was too much. It is almost impossible to join in or walk out of team fights as easy as before. But the problem for your problem, I think, would be that it would be extremely hard to stack up. At around 4-5 stacks, the mana cost itself would be 1200-2400, which is basically ALL of Kassadin's mana, regardless of how well you build him. I think that your idea is applicable, but the start up range still needs to be increased. I think that they should give us back the original range, but maybe take away the damage cause in R instead.

I completely agree with you. That nerf just basically killed Kassadin. I guess I'll have to main another mid-laner...
