: [EUNE/EUW] November Clash Test Update
Playing clash was quite fun, good luck with the updates rito, hope it'll come back soon. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-catface}}
: banned for 1 game
Snikker, riot makes use of a zero tolerance policy when it comes to certain words due to them being considered unacceptable or downright illegal (under hatespeech laws) in certain countries. I'm fairly certain that the word %%%got is on said list and therefore not to be used in the in-game chat for whatever purpouse. Furthermore the 14 day suspension is because of riot's policy when it comes to dealing with toxicity in general. They don't care much about past behaviour, but instead focus on severity of the issue. Since the bot detected what is considered to be hate speech it was basically automatically given permission to skip punishment tiers and instantly go for a 2 week ban. This will, by riot, also be considered as your last warning when it comes down to what they consider to be "extreme toxicity" as the next ban will likely result in a perma. There are a few posts floating around on the boards that give a tad more insight into how this all works in case you're interested. Apart from that there is little anyone on the boards could do for you and your case

Assuming? No sir. It is save to say that Rito have simply no interest in it. Drama is better for skin sales^^ I`m talking since over 3 years about this topic here on forum. Do you really think they even talk about the problem?! nah i never have seen any Topic from Rito about it. Matchmaking oh hell ya^^ but only how accurate its alleged works. *cough* They don`t agree and decline all suggestion to improve the current conditions. Thats a fact. You only need to reread my Topics/Posts^^
I don't think riot stopped caring about league or it's playerbase at all to be honest, allow me to give a view examples that from my point of view show the contrary: - The reworked honour system and free loot are actually some of the prime examples of riot rewarding non-toxic players and to entice currently toxic ones to reform (toxic people that got penalties also miss out on seasonal rewards). - Another common misconception is that the reporting and banning system doesn't work properly, while it might not be perfect, it more than gets the job done. A lot of people just don't seem to get why certain things do and do not get punished aswell as why certain actions warrant certain punishments. - Riot does listen to community feedback, whenever they are thinking of changing game related stats or mechanics, they always ask various people for feedback, from bronze to pros. The only catch here is that they limit themselves to the opinions of people that act polite and respectable, rather than needy, demanding or downright hostile. And in case that doesn't sound believable i'll list an example: various rioters respond here, on social media and on ask riot. You might even get anwsers from them during matches if you happen to find them, but this is way less common So all in all, it'd be extremely unfair towards them to say that riot as a company has stopped caring about league. It's more likely that people take certain features for granted and fail to appreciate the work that went into them aswell as not realising, from a balance perspective, how hard (near impossible even) it is to keep everything at an acceptable level. Surely they can still improve on a lot of things, but they're actually trying harder than they get credit for.

: i am asking about ranked game solo/due
Oh, so when the new season starts? It was announced before by riot that this will be on 23-1-2019, not sure about the exact time though.
Gµardian (EUNE)
: i don’t know what do you mean ?
just that it's not very clear what you were asking in your post.

: AKALI
First of all, cussing won't ever get your point across towards any company ever. Second of all, there are plenty of ways to deal with akali, you're just not adept at any of them. Keep in mind she's still targettable by skillshots and can still struggle eliminating tankier opponents. Perhaps invest in a more defensive build on your champ to negate some of her kill pressure or get a team with a good amount of cc to keep her from going ham. Lastly, if you struggle to deal with something in-game, either try practising it yourself or watch content of more knowledgable community members to get a feel for a champ or strategy's strengths and weaknesses. Which will allow you to counterplay it effectively in the future.
: Its acutally not YOUR game^^ thats why you get flamed, your own doing has an impact on the whole team. So i get why people flame. But here is the Deal... Don`t flame the player...flame the game. Rito does nothing for a minimum skill level so that`s to blame surly not the casual player base.
Riot does enough for players by having them matched with people of a similar mmr, surely boosting and people playing new champions isn't calculated into this. But from a design and developement point of view doing so with the tech currently available can be extremely hard to manage. Never the less, you shouldn't assume that they aren't looking to improve the player experience gradually over time.
Gµardian (EUNE)
: Ranked Game
you should probably be more specific, could you elaborate on what ranked game you're referring to?
: Petition for an option to change Voice-over and text language regardless of Region.
There's no harm in making something like this available to those who really want to make use of different language packs. Totally agree.

: ***
i never caught wind of that experiment ever having happened, so could you send me some kind of source? anything will do, really (just interested in the topic and trying to stay well informed, not trying to devalue your arguement). as for the percentage, 95% is quite a lot, but i doubt any of those people would take the effort to ask for legitimate help in improving their behaviour on a place such as the boards anyway. however, the fact that are is a 5% that did actually reform according to your statement means that there are some people that would actually be willing to improve their behaviour. and to be honest i'd say that those who *actually are serious* about reformation, should get the chance to do so. after all, it's better to teach them how to act properly and rewarding them for good behaviour (giving them their main acc back) then it is to have those folks go full tyler1 and getting 22+ accounts banned just because they don't want to quit the game and don't know how to act thus having them flame/int just as much, if not more (after all, it's not their main account so it's not as much of a threat/big deal), as they did on their main account. it's better to have a 5% group of reformed players than having the full 100% still running around flaming, inting and basically ruining the experience for many different players 24/7 on tons of smurf accounts. i'm fairly sure that riot would share the same kind of mentallity, if not, they should. after all anything that would decrease the community's toxicity without affecting the actuall game or riot's income should be a well received solution to a years old problem, shouldn't it?
: Veigar's Passive
the heavy stacking on his passive is actually balanced out due to the many flaws he has as a champion: squishy, short range when compared to some other champs like azir and xerath, everything in his kit besides his ult is a relatively hard to land skillshot (especially his w, since it has one of if not the longest delays for a basic ability in this game), he has no escapes, his only form of cc can be spellshielded or avoided by blinks (think summoner spell flash, zed shadow or ezreal e) and even his ult can be cancelled by items such as zhonya's hourglass, guardian angel and banshee's veil/edge of night aswell as some well timed champion abilities like for exaple zed's ult and yi's q. the only way to make veigar relevant is by getting him into the late game, which in the current meta is already quite the challenge. since most games where a lead is obtained are over somewhere between the 20 and 30 minute mark. and then even if you do get to that 40 minute+ mark you'll still need to finish up the following checklist for veigar to be concidered strong: - your team needs some easy to land cc to make his aiming easier - you need communication to coördinate fights properly - you need an engage other than veigar's own e (due to it being cancelled out so easily) while also having someone that can peel - you need to have had a jungler that was able to enable him early game, spoonfeeding him kills and making sure he doesn't get zoned out of his farm - if they have stuff like spellshields, invulnerabilities or ways to revive on the spot (guardian angel/anivia passive/zac passive/aatrox passive) then veigar can't even use his ult without it being a waste most of the time so yeah, veigar, even though he has such a strong passive, can still be so damn weak even in the late game. the only way you'll lose to a veigar on the enemy team would be if their team comp and communication is simply better, or the player playing him is just a lot better than you and your teammates are. and even then, good waveclear and continous pressure on bot and top along with some well placed wards will prevent his team from teamfighting, pushing and picking people off. they could try taking objectives, but with their towers/inhibs at risk.
Revenez (EUNE)
: Concept about a trading option in crafting system
needs a bit of polishing, but i like the concept. being able to trade skins and champions through the loot system would be nice. just keep in mind that the likelyhood of this becoming an actuall system anytime soon is relatively low due to something that cs:go is also well known for: real life money trades. someone would surely set up a site where you could offer up skinshards/championshards for sale over paypal, then just add the person that replies to your offer, give them the skinshard in trade for one they don't need/like and then just unfriend eachother again. also, gambling sites similair to stuff like cs:go lotto could be set up for league skins. the above mentioned would even leave room in for potential scammers. so adding this system as it currently is discribed already offers people 3 different ways to make money of off riot's copyrighted content, which is against the terms of service (with the exception of streaming/tournament participation since those are technically also making use of riot's content, just in a permitted way). so yeah, if you could think of a way to fix these flaws, then not only would riot be able to implement it, but you would also be hailed a hero by valve's staff.
Valzuuuh (EUW)
: Hey, you have to show that you're reformed player by behaving nicely, i'm not 100% sure how this works. Maybe you have to be nice in chat etc.

: It's well edited but too bad you didn't hide the HUD :/ .
i kinda like how that enabled you to follow along with the item build, to all their own i guess.
: I agree with yorick as for Darius and Veigar its a big no. Early game I came stomp on Darius as WW Ive done it many times as for veigar Warwick actually counters him not the other way around.. If he ever traps me in the cage I can ult him to get out it wont stop warwick he cant be CC'd mid air .
i mentioned peel for a reason, if someone bodyblocks your (now skillshot) r, then you have a problem. as for using your r to flee out of his cage and away from him, that would be worth it for veigar, since his cage has a lot less cooldown than your r does. one on one you could easily outplay him (just like almost every other non-squishy), but as soon as he has backup he's a huge threat. guess that good communication is more of a counter than the champion itself. the darius part was pure speculation, so yeah, not too hard for me to be wrong there, i'll give you that ;). although you never know, i've seen darius playes perform miracles up to the point where nothing surprices me anymore. guess that's just my personal admiration and hate for the champion and his playerbase shining through :P
: Random invites from people outside friendslist?
if you're using the new client, then keep in mind that even though it is largely finished, there are some parts that are still either buggy or under developement. so it might be that it doesn't show you the invite reason (if there is one) because of that. in case that you're using the old client then i don't know, i've had tons of friendrequests from low level accounts with barely any games on there aswell, somehow those people just fid you (more on that below). either way, see if you can get screenshots or a vid in which it happens again and send it to support as a bug report, they might be able to fix it. as for where they could get summoner names, i'd say looking at profiles of friends, clicking on the ranked matches or in their ranked bracket and that way searching for people. i (for the lols) had a little contest with a friend once, we started by looking in the ranked bracket of a bronze v that was a mutual friend of ours and tried to get to the challenger bracket as fast as possible. we actually managed to do it :P so yeah, you can find pretty much anyone by using other peoples matchhistories. sites like op.gg would even work when looking at normal game match history (since op.gg always shows the summoner names of the players that participated in a match even though riot's severs don't show this info).
Perilum (EUW)

also, you get matched with people of the same mmr level, meaning that riot's system is working as intended. meaning that they indeed, do not care about make believe such as an ''elo hell''. (just in case that you're wondering, im leaving this as a reply to you to add on to your statement, it's still aimed at dzking1 though)
Dr3dd2l00T (EUNE)
: suggestions and elo hell in eune full of kids
i've said so often on here and i'll say it again. the only consistant factor in your matches is you, so improve and learn how to carry. if challenger players can do a road to diamond series starting from bronze, then it clearly isn't impossible meaning that you could do the same. all you have to do is be willing to learn and adapt, faker even said this in an interview once (and i'd say he's quite a reliable source of league related info, being a 3 times world champion and all)
: How would YOU counter the new Warwick?

: you need help
his explaination was amusing though, but yeah, he might be mentally unstable :P
: They kept swearing and saying every single second ''Report Tristana for feed'' while my support was on top cause they we're premade and I was solo bot entire game..
i'd suggest trying what coxis said consistantly on a new account and then contacting riot support to either ask them to read through the chatlogs/watch the replays of the games you played on the new account or just the recordings of your games by uploading them to youtube and sending support the links. this way they can see the actuall improvement of your behaviour and they *might* just unban you. this, however, is never certain and all you can do is hope that they're feeling generous.
ZeeDrakon (EUW)
: I'd like to see stats for this patch before I make a real judgement, but I have the inclination he is on the weak side. Maybe he's balanced and people dont know how to play him yet. Definetly doesnt look OP to me.
people will just need some time to get adjusted to the new skillset, give it a few weeks and you'll start seeing the good warwicks, give it a few more and you'll start seeing people that can counter those good warwicks. stat wise he's fairly decent when it comes to dueling due to his insane attackspeed/healing, he's just prone to getting outnumbered or perma ccd. i'd suggest balancing your playstyle out by switching through splitpushing and picking off straglers. in case you do have to join in on teamfights, surpress either the opponent with the most cc in his kit or the adc if you can reach them. when your ult is down, either try to get their carries or start dueling with an enemy melee (since that person has to stay near you to deal you damage, you can usually just outsustain and even heal of off them). i don't claim to be an expert at the new warwick when it comes to actually playing the champion (all i know is what his funtion somewhat is and what could help in terms of itembuilds), so when it comes to runes, masteries, skill leveling and advanced tricks/combos i can't really help much. as for builds, a few good items in my opinion would be {{item:1419}} , {{item:3065}} , {{item:3102}} , {{item:3111}} and {{item:3022}} . lifesteal enhancing items such as {{item:3072}} and {{item:3139}} could also be effective depending what you need to counter the enemy team. reasons: {{item:1419}} : increased attack speed, max % hp bonus dmg and either blue smite for sticking potential or red smite for bonus true dmg. {{item:3065}}: increased healing (which is quite significant up to the point where it's a must have), more hp and mr to survive enemy dmg output. {{item:3102}}: gives a spellshield and thus blocks some cc (which is something that shuts you down hard), more hp and mmr to survive enemy dmg output. {{item:3111}}: has tenacity and thus reduces the effect of cc on you, gives mr and thus reduces the amount of magic damage that you take slightly. {{item:3022}}: slows people when you aa (which is your main way of attacking/sustaining as warwick) and thus helps you stick to targets (enables opting for red smite, since blue smite's effect won't be needed with this item) , increases dmg output slightly, gives more hp to sustain through enemy dmg output. {{item:3072}}: heavy increase on lifesteal, gives shield instead when on full hp, increases dmg output significantly, should however only be purchased when you are ahead or the enemy lacks cc and burst (since without cc/burst you are free to a and lifesteal, when they do have the former mentioned auto attacking isn't possible thus wasting bloodthirsters potential). {{item:3139}}: slight increase on lifesteal, gives mr to sustain through enemy dmg output, active that removes cc debuffs on your champion (if they have just enough cc to make you doubt a bloodthirster purchase, take this instead. gives largely the same, aka lifesteal and a bit of tankynes, but sacrifices a slight bit of the former to give you a re-usable cc deny thus enabling you to make use of the lifesteal once more). from personal experience {{champion:83}} is a hardcounter for warwick throughout most of the game. he outduels you, can lock you up thus making you use your ult as an escape, has better splitpush and can funtion better as both a peeler as well as a diver (warwicks ult is a skillshot now, so it can be bodyblocked. this makes reaching the backline a lot harder. yoricks w, however, can't be bodyblocked, he just has to be in range to lock someone up). so in case you're strugling vs warwick, picking this guy up and learning to play him might be worthwhile. {{champion:122}} might also work, but since i barely play him, i wouldn't be certain. i'd assume that due to the insane amount of damage his r can do on a champion when his passive is stacked, darius could theoretically burst right through the increased lifesteal that warwick gets the lower he becomes, thus shutting him down. again, im not sure though. as for mages, {{champion:45}} is always a threat, especially if he recieves good peel from teammates. i don't think i need to go in detail here :3 so yeah, seems to me that he has enough options when it comes to strategising that he's viable (i'd say either as a jungler or a top laner), but also is balanced enough to have actual counterplay (in the form of either cc or straight up burst).
ZeeDrakon (EUW)
: It's hypocritical to not want 15+ minute Queue times even in high platinum, but also wanting to play your main roles? what?
i don't think you're reading everything properly. it's hypocritical that people want others to start filling while they themselves only pick what they want and still keep complaining about queue times. the fill option is already there, so if you dislike long queue times then use it, but don't force the people that didn't complain to fill for your sake.
jacktjong (EUW)
: Autofill logic
better to take it out of the game entirely, the people who support it are pretty much hypocrites anyway. after all, instead of just picking the fill option themselves they just start whining to riot, which in turn leads to a broken system that forces EVERYONE out of their preffered roles. and all of that just because a bunch of plebs who so desperately wanted their roles couldnt deal with their queue times. those people should just get over it or start playing different roles every now and then, but leave people who are content with their queue times alone. after all, why even bother having a pre-lobby position select that fixes most of the flaws of the old solo/duo queue (i'm looking at you ''mid or feed'' spammers) when it's just going to asign us a different role then we opt in for anyway? it's not just about normals or just about ranked, this system shouldn't even exist in the first place. man, im sure that if the fill button could feel, it'd feel useless to the extreme atm. people should stop defending ''autofill'' and start looking at what it really does. folks are already tilted in the damn lobby if they get autofilled, sometimes they even decide to go full troll mode. yeah, we could report those people, but they'll always stick around anyway so what's the point if they keep going at it? i know that not everything i typed is relevant to the post directly, but i can {{champion:86}} tee you that someone will come here to start preaching about how autofill is the best thing to happen in human history. had to get this out somewhere on this forum, this seems like an ok place to do so. as for anyone completely enthralled by this system, please give me one reason that isn't related to anything i've already contradicted above and we'll see just how awesome autofill really is (hint, it isn't).
