I'd actually think that may come from other factors other than simply familiarity with the champion though that certainly impacts her performance. I didn't say that what I outlined there was the major problem, nor my major point of contention with the champion, merely that they were relevant stats that one could easily search. What Akali adds to her team is easily seen as shallow when in the context of her entire presence in the game. She's a champion who's existence is meaningless until 6 in most matchups, furthermore her gank potential is nil and most junglers will not bother ganking her lane before said level 6. At level 6, she's free to easily dominate most 1 on 1 matchups and stomp but has a very hard time converting that into carry potential against others. Her only source of CC and reliable escape is tied to the long CD of her ultimate, which makes her playstyle very much a high risk, high reward and, while killing an ADC easily might be a "high reward", she will have no way to escape the collapsing enemy team after due to the need to use her Ultimate as an execute and stun. Furthermore, her shroud has been nerfed to the point one could consider it unreliable at best even if the latest buffs have made it somewhat bearable in an effort to peel away some of her tower-diving potential and the frustration it brought upon others.

: Thing is... you've removed everything unique about yasuo. His crit chance, his synergy with knock ups, and his Q are unique, they make yasuo who he is. Without them you just get a lesser version of other skirmishers. He is over tuned, but removing what makes him who he is isn't the way to solve it... you just gotta regulate them (seriously just making the crit multiplier scale with levels removes a lot of his issues without wasting resources doing something big nor does it alienate him). And the nerf is surprisingly good all things considered... lower base means that his early game trading power is lessened early (especially considering a decent amount of yasuos max E first for this reason) and the shift to a ratio means that tank yas doesn't do as much damage in general. So it's not nerfing the wrong things... it will lower his ability to snowball and will hurt tank yas a decent amount, that's good. His issue is that as a hyper carry he is too strong early and spikes too early... the former is being looked at here, and the latter is relativity simple to deal with by tweaking the passive so it scales. And as a disclaimer, I don't play yasuo so this isn't me being a fan boy.
If you read everything you'd realise that I didn't just scream OP and didn't give a way to keep his identity. His identity isn't anything you've said, it's a high-mobility skirmisher with this wind-samurai fantasy(as in strikes faster than the eye can realise). I do see how the knock up synergy is an integral and stand-offish part of his kit, but that could very well fit in in other ways. Everyone sees the 100% crit as toxic, not as identity building as far as I know. Anyway, I didn't say it was nerfing the wrong things, in fact, I said that they were nerfing the only thing they could, but this nerf is nothing but a hopeful band-aid. Also, I say this as someone who mained Yasuo until falling very Ill and quitting league for months. Thank you for your opinion though. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-catface}}
