Even if it wasn't their exact summonername it was close enough to their summonername for other players to be able to point out the person he was talking about ;). He knows it's against the rules to name them and even stated so in the comment. Adding the comment (almost) spelling out to others who this person was (which people could easily figure out themselves based on this post), wasn't going to help anyone anyway - he was already notified the moderation team would be getting to his reports rather quickly and so there was no need to (almost) call anyone out *even if intentions were good*. {{sticker:galio-happy}}

: Why there's no moderator name?
Hi there! It's because it doesn't really matter who removed the post. If you feel it's unfair any moderator can explain why it was deleted or go into discussion with the moderator that did remove your post (if it was unfair). There's no reason to call anyone out. In your case it probably would've been better if you and your post were redirected to the Games, Contests & Jokes boards (so for being on the incorrect board rather than spam). The off-topic boards are for any discussion that doesn't fit the other subboards, but yours would've been better suited for the Games, Contests & Jokes boards. I am sorry for the confusion and I hope this answers your question :).

: How to climb without getting bored?
Just play and practise what you like at that time! Your progress will probably be a bit less consistent this way as you'll be swapping around champions and maybe even roles - but the game will just turn into a chore or grind if you force yourself to play stuff you don't like anymore. In my opinion anyway. It's not a shame to not be loyal to your mains, if you'd look at my record I've not been fully loyal either. My Gnar did take a bit of a hit, yes, but I found other roles and champions I really enjoy and have stuck with over time :).

: Quick question, if i were to play normals on a friend’s account because they own a champ that i dont, is it bannable? Normals not ranked
Account sharing is against the ToU, which is what you're doing if you're playing on another person's account. No matter for wich reason you did it, if you get cought you get punished. Here is a link to what Support says about this subject: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/204214670-Shared-accounts
: you can't find evidence that he is boosting
There are a few things that **can** give it away, even to people just researching this from the matchhistory. Note that I'll give examples that **might indicate** to you that something fishy is happening to the account when looking at the matchhistory, but it doesn't always have to mean anything: - Suddenly playing godlike after setting (for example) Flash from F to D - Suddenly changing champion pool to things they've never played before and doing way better than before - Being stuck in a certain elo for a long long time and out of nowhere starting to play extremely well All of the above can have other reasons, yes, and support will be the best one to investigate the account. A smurf usually is a low level account when they first start ranked. They might have just hit level 30 but are playing a lot better than your average new player would - which also helps them to reach the elo they belong in quite quickly. Smurf accounts tend to not have any ranked history, they were made by players for a fresh start/to play in lower elo/to practise different roles at lower mmr/their main got banned/etc.
: I was against smurf in silver queue
There's a difference between boosting and smurfing ^^. Smurfing is when a higher elo player creates a new account (for whatever reason) and starts playing in ranked. They will start lower elo at first, since it's a new account - but in my experience will rapidly climb to the elo they do belong in. Duoing with a smurf, I know how people feel about that, is not forbidden. Boosting is when a higher elo player plays (and gets paid for it usually) to play on **someone elses** account. The first is allowed, the second is not - as you're essentially cheating the system AND sharing your account, which both are against the ToU. If you feel the account was really being boosted, your best bet is to contact [support. ](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us)

: It's like people in low elo are bad at the game or something...
I wouldn't call them bad, considering the average sits somewhere in the lower realms of silver (silver 3 or 4) they're only (slightly) below average. Being able to adapt to a game, how basic that might sound to people that do know how to do so, is a skill that you can't really develop until you have a fuller understanding of the game. They think (as example) "if I get more damage rather than defensive stats I can kill them before they kill me" rather than "if I get a bit more tanky I will be able to survive long enough to get help/kill my opponent/get an easier time in lane". They just follow their build, like they always do, as that's what works for them most of the time. You learn it either by experience or others advice. Problem with advice in a match is that you're giving it to people with similar mmr (so just as bad) so it's not that weird they're not gonna listen to this random player on their team. It doesn't end until they realize it themselves (experience) or someone they respect tells them. ____________ That's how I see the differences anyway, getting good at League is a learning process and the curve can be pretty steep.

Hi there! Most of the advice or help we can give you is subjective, but let's try anyway. _______________ First, a fact, the only constant in your games is you. You are in every game you play, the more consistent you are the more consistent the results will be (this goes both ways). Try to not let your teams mentality drag you down. Play your own game, get strong, make that one deciding move in a teamfight and the game can be turning in your favor already! Patience is key. Some champions naturally grow stronger than other when the game goes on for longer, giving you the chance to start winning if you just hold on for long enough. (Yes, I am one of those NEVER SURRENDER people ;p). Your enemy is bound to make a mistake somewhere, if you manage to pick up on that and use that mistake to your advantage you might be changing the course of the game. (note: usually it's better to ignore your (flaming) teammates and/or chat to them. If they're tilting it tends to just nake it worse even if you're being nice. Mute them if their chat distracts you too much - since climbing is about consistency getting distracted/annoyed by them won't book you many results. ~~Not pretending to be a saint btw, everyone can get annoyed by them at bad days. Just be the bigger person and ignore/mute.~~) Second part of this; when you got completely worked up and/or annoyed over a previous loss - take a small break. Go watch a video on YouTube, unstress in a normal game - anything that helps you avoiding taking your emotions from the previous game into the next. If you're already tilted or on the verge of being tilted, the next game will just make it worse and you're going to make more mistakes/do bad yourself resulting in another loss. Safe yourself from those horrible tilting losing streaks ;). As a bonus: In my opinion (it's a common opinion I think) it's easiest to climb by focusing on a small set of champions (if you'd stalk my profile you'll see I don't actually always listen to this, but hear me out!): By focusing on one or two champions in larger chunks of games (example: play 4 games of Teemo in a row, then let's say Poppy for a game or two, to continue with 4 more Teemo games etc) you will start to grasp the strengths and weaknesses of that champion. You play them a lot, so your mechanics on them slowly improve, you have more feeling of when and who you can fight - when to engage etc. On top of that playing on a champion you're comfortable with will make it so you can start paying attention to other things as well (cs, dragon/herald, junglers, vision) which will help your game in the long run! _________________ You don't have to be a god to climb, you just have to **consistently** play slightly better, smarter and/or more patient than your opponent. Good luck! {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}
: If I would duo with the G1 dude, I would not post this in here because i am sad about this game xD. I look at the J4 and the Vlad in the enemy team. They didnt play duo que (from op.gg). It was just the matchmaking which is obviously garbage... For example: If the P4 player played with the S1 guy. You should get some G3-G2 player against you (maybe also a P4 and a S1). But not a Silver 2 player. It would be possible if i played with the G1 guy, but i didn`t.
I know, it was just an example since not everyone in your team had a rating yet. The botlane on your team was premade and after placements it appears the support got about the same rating as you did ;). The problem is that for the matchmaking, in your example, the match wouldn't be "fair". The silvers mmr is most likely way lower than that of G3-G2 players, meaning the match would be in favour (regarding mmr) of the opponents. As far as the matchmaking can make it "fair", it did. It's not garbage, just not always as smart as you'd wish it was :P.
Hashashin (EUW)
: Ranked deecay during placements
To answer your question: We've seen decay during placements with other players, so yes you'll lose points if you're not playing before the timer runs out. Since you're still in placements, I'd encourage you to just play one more game - you can't really lose LP yet anyway ;p. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}
: As Silver 2 player against Platinum 4
Usually cases like these are caused by premades. When you duoqueue (for example the G1 in your team could still have queued with you or the S1 in your team) the system has to find opponents that are of equal skill. Especially if the G1 in this case would have high mmr, this would mean that the P4 is placed in your match to equal their mmr (and make the match even). I obviously can't tell who are premade, it could also be on the enemy team - or even in both teams. ___________________ It can also be caused by the mmr of you and your (silver)teammates being good while the mmr of the p4 and gold opponents is pretty bad thus dragging them down into a silver/low gold game. _This one was suggested earlier in the comments._ If there weren't any premades with a big mmr gap between them, it's simply the mmr of the players in the game being respectively bad or good and you got matched that way.

: Do you actually get worse players in your promos?
It sure does feel that way sometimes, doesn't it? There's a few reasons as to why it feels like this, but in reality the answer to your question is "no". Why it feels that way? Promotional games are special, they're "more important" so you're automatically inclined to try harder and play better... as a result you'll see (more) of the bad play that happens in your team - since you're trying so hard to win. You really just want to win, so any loss sucks extra hard :(. If you look at the losses/wins on your way to promos, you'll see similar cases of people feeding in your or the enemy team. These games happen at any stage of your climb - sometimes in the form of a free win, sometimes in the form of a loss. Don't worry, eventually you'll win them! ###### I mean it only took me 5 series to hit Silver 1 first time around... {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}

: I'm just sucking at League no matter what i try
Hi there! Since you're reasonably new to the game, the easiest way to improve is to just keep on playing! League of Legends has 143 different champions each with at least 4 different abilities and a passive, so there's tons to learn! Now onto farm (cs). It's completely natural to not be godlike at last hitting when you just start playing. It's one of the skills/mechanics in League and yes, it's a pretty important one. Last hitting minions (which has your cs score go up) gives you gold, if you have more gold than your opponent you have an advantage. The skill won't magically come to you and you're best off simply practising it in your games. Try to focus a bit on the minions when in laning phase and attack them when they're so low you'll land the killing blow! You can also practise lasthitting in botgames/practise tool where the environment is a bit nicer (no real players trying to kill you! :P). Also don't worry about your kda too much. Sure adc stands for attack-damage-carry but that doesn't mean you have to carry or have to have most kills. It's common for adc to get kills since they have the most conistent damage in the team, but there's no harm done in gathering assists if you simply lack the damage (don't have the items/gold) or have a more supportive/safe playstyle. ~~I mean I rarely have a lot of kills as adc so I'll just pretend I have a very supportive playstyle indeed....~~ If you feel unsure about champions you're playing or are curious how high elo players play them - you can always try to find educational content on youtube! There's a lot of players out there, so there's enough for them to tell you :). Good luck! {{sticker:slayer-jinx-catface}}

: I've contacted support about smurfing. They say they can't/won't punish smurfs
They won't punish the ones that do try to win - since these types of Smurfs usually quickly rise to the elo they're supposed to be in. As long as they keep to the summoners code, riot won't punish players for smurfing. They do, however, punish smurfs that intentionally lose games to remain in low elo on low mmr. This is the kind of Smurfs OP is talking about in his ticket I believe :).
