I also feel that it is a bit too much because Nasus has 900+ stacks pretty much every Nexus Blitz game and it's very hard to stop him from farming jungle unless we are able to end really fast or are just way stronger than the enemy team in order to do so. But if the enemy team is already winning then Nasus will just deny any chance for a comeback.

His movement speed boost is essential for kiting though.
: Maining a champion
Keep playing random champions until you find one you like. Also try ARAM or other modes just to play different champs. Most champs are balanced and it mostly comes down to skill so in the end you should pick one you like/love. However some champs have a really high learning curve: {{champion:157}} {{champion:4}} which you should probably stay away from unless you don't mind being bad for a really long time before you 'master' them. And some champs can do multiple lanes (like mid, top and jungle) which give you more chances of playing them in Ranked. Also some champions just have better voice emotes like {{champion:27}} laugh or Corporate {{champion:36}} or awesome skins which is also important imo :).

In low ELO as support I prefer to play something that can make an impact itself like {{champion:63}} so that if my ADC is even more brainless than me, I can just kill the enemy ADC myself after a few kills. Btw to me personally, gold is not low ELO.

: Well, first of all, it's about current health. So yes, on the first hit it is massive, but it becomes worse after each point of health the target loses. Second, this item is quite bad for scaling skills. Very few champions have AS scaling in their kits and most AD champions who could buy Bortk also have a lot of AD scaling on their skills. Example: Bortk is still incredibly strong on Trundle, since he is AA based, and his skills don't really scale with AD anyway. Third, the damage of Bortk is simply outclassed by other builds. For example, IE gives 70 AD, but it is a combo item for crit built, and every critical hit doubles your damage on AA. As 100% crit chance is easy to get, ADCs will tend to go for IE instead, since at that point _every_ AD they have is effectively permanently doubled. And finally, but most importantly: Armor. Your calculations are correct, but by the time an ADC gets 2k HP, they also get 80-90 armor too, or up to 140 of they bought GA. That instantly means that the 185 damage you calculated on the first hit will be reduced to somewhere between 102 and 77. And this is a squishy target. Meanwhile IE alone as an only AD item (+2 zeal items for 100% crit) will give 140 damage + 100 or 120 (avg 110 for calculations now) from doubling the base AD of the champion. It also converts 10% of the crit hit's damage to true before armor is calculated. So against the same ADC with 80-140 armor the damage is between 117,7+36 true and 89+36 true, only from IE. If you buy additional AD items, IE will boost their scaling too. In short: BotRK is a very nice item and it fills an important role, but basically anyone that wants to use it well will need to pair it up with some Armor penetration / reduction options. Champions like Lucian, Quinn, Trundle, Xin, Vi, Kogmaw all frequently build some lethality or armor reduction along with botrk and others who can use this item well like Shyvana or Kindred have very nice AA resets and damage amplifications of their own.
Thanks for the info all. But against bruisers and tanks with 3-4k hp, even if they get 50% damage reduction from armor, the AA bonus damage is still really massive for the first 2 - 3k damage dealt. But okay I completely forgot that the bonus damage from BOTRK's passive does not increase ability damage that scale with AD so any champion that relies on ability damage should mostly not get the BOTRK I guess. And the passive damage is not doubled by crit% indeed. But say I'm playing {{champion:222}} with {{item:3046}} {{item:3031}} {{item:3085}} {{item:3036}} and I encounter a full tank {{champion:75}} on Nexus Blitz with 900+ stacks _(which is very common due to his totally OP stack bonus buffs there)_, what item should I get? It feels as if BOTRK does nothing and I'm better off with a QSS to remove the slow and run away before he oneshots me. Is there like a rule or something for when to buy a BOTRK regardless of what AD-champion you play? Like say the enemy has Mao, Nasus, Cho and Galio and you play Jinx or Draven. When should you buy the BOTRK? Versus how many tanks/hp?

Not having a champion that has sustained damage (like an ADC) places you at a really bad spot for this event yea. Also if the enemy team ({{champion:555}} {{champion:84}} {{champion:134}} {{champion:24}} {{champion:45}} etc) deletes your ADC through luck or by using flash + etc then you may just lose this event and thus the game. Sudden Death is extremely unreliable imo as in that even a severe losing team sometimes wins here because the winning team has 1 or 2 cocky players suiciding at the start of this event and then they lose the entire game. Or just a lucky ult {{champion:32}} {{champion:518}} . And then there are the grabs from the nexuses that sometimes grabs the enemy ADC/APC and you win. It is indeed best to end the game before 18min mark if you are winning instead of jungling or trying to rack in kills for fun. Also if you have no sustained damage at all (like 5 tanks) you may have to wipe the enemy team like 3x entirely on this event and still lose :/

The simple solution: The Rift herald should also take damage if it gets outside of the circle!
It happened again today during Bardle Royale: Paranoia. A teammate summoned the Herald while the enemy inhib was up. But after the royale ended the inhib was destroyed as well as both final turrets (nexus was still alive) and since we won the bardle and thus aced them we finished the game with that. I think this imbalance will be more of an issue once more people learn of it.

Well the event is over and I'm finding Nexus matches faster than most other modes atm. So I assume (and hope) there are enough players to make it perma since I will be leaving ARAM for this mode instead.

Thë algorithm for whom is "losing" is currently not good enough. Sometimes a team that is behind in gold but ahead in kills and is currently totally destroying the enemy team (say a Yi for example that is now strong enough to penta but wasn't before) still gets favored for the minigames... The Sudden Death event can be determined by a single ADC being alive as the only one for example. Or like I posted in my other post after a long bardle royale event for a 100% free win or the 'Herald trick' also for a free win. There seems to be a huge imbalance still and there are still plenty of ways to cheese/bug events and wins. Like a scuttle race + mordekaiser... And there was another champ that can also bug it. But I like Nexus Blitz because: - Not a random champ like ARAM. I can chose one I like tot play. - Lots of action. - No super long boring laning phases with jungler babysitting and whatnot only to lose the game to someone whom got fed 2 minutes after laning ends. Been last hitting so much for nothing... - Events are nice (okay buggy and imbalanced but nice). - If you are losing hard, you can often still drag on into Sudden Death and still win there (Unless, one of those cheese tactics gets used...)

Well they are semi border cases. I mean the battle royale must extend to the point that the sudden death timer starts (almost) immediately after and the winning team must have at least one high-sustained-dps-champion alive and all dangerous enemy champions must not have died too early during the event. It's not common but not very rare either, I experienced it multiple times. Enemies have like 40+ seconds death-timers but once sudden death STARTS the timers are lowered to max 15sec. However those are 15 seconds where the winning team now has 15 seconds to destroy the enemy nexus without any opposition whatsoever. Even worse if they also have a zilean buff on all 5 active for even more facerolling. It doesn't feel right in any way.

I had something even lamer today. I was playing {{champion:36}} with {{item:2420}} (for gargoyle) and all I did was use the Stopwatch and pop ult and run around until the enemy team burned to death from event damage. There was no counterplay for them since they didn't had dashes.

Here is a Prize Fight bug though caused by battle sled (click on the broken image, for some reason the forum bugs as well for me...): https://i.imgur.com/gkz6XPy.jpg And sometimes minions don't despawn and also appear during the Prize Fight. Also the cannon to shoot yourself into battle can bug certain events out if you are mid-air when the event starts.

If it's 1vs1 in the last round, then Karthus should just perma kite (if enemy has no gap closer) and have both burn to death so he can use his passive for a 100% guaranteed win. Zilean can do the same. Also regens like Garen's don't work in that mode. Price fights should grant a buff that increases movespeed when moving towards enemy champs to prevent all this kiting bs

{{champion:11}} should be perma banned as he will end your lategame. {{champion:45}} is a bit of a either god or useless thing. If you get an early game URF + fed veigar and then he gets on fire then he'll walk around with 1100ap .at 8-9min mark, deleting tanks with an unstoppable 2100 damage ult. My personal record is 1100ap at 8 min mark. Also try 4 tanks + veigar and push into sudden death for fun. When he focuses on gaining stacks he will end your lategame just like Yi does. {{champion:21}} is not great most of the time though. {{champion:78}} not OP but strong and her ult can insta-kill enemies in certain modes. Imo toptier champs in Nexus: {{champion:11}} {{champion:555}} {{champion:45}} {{champion:10}} {{champion:420}} {{champion:78}} {{champion:24}} Sure champions like {{champion:99}} are fun to play and they might end up doing topdamage most of the time but they won't carry.

Thanks for the video. Yeah it's barely visible. The poro and the recall are way better, I hope they are permanent. I'm not sure if the poro can give away your position if you are in the bush but the poro is not? The recall SFX you can spam by constantly recalling :P

It's already x2 now. Also the fire buff doesn't give Nasus +10% CDR for some reason. https://i.imgur.com/8DSmuHl.png Here I have the firebuff + 20% cdr from item and yet I still only have 20% CDR. I rather not have the buff at all in this particular case. Bug or nerfed? Also sometimes both teams fight non-stop on the lane and you won't get any minions.

The problem is that the fire buff makes some champions too op. Jhin with 960 base ad damage (crit build) for example... Those crits... Yi with 600 damage annihilating an entire team. Long range champions like Lux, Ziggs, Xerath can outside of the Bardle Royale not really be killed (unless you are lucky to have a deep diving or invis champion on your team) and they enjoy their fire buff for the rest of the match with 50% CDR. There are exceptions but most teams can't kill them if they remain far in the backline spamming their abilities nonstop.

The rng of spawn locations and rng of rewards have imo too much of an impact on the game. But I have seen worse locations. King of the Hill can also spawn near the enemy nexus while towers are still up.

Play brand support. I was 7-0-x last game at 14 min mark (and no I was not stealing my ADC's kills). Playing a super agressive scaling support will still allow you to carry. A brand support with gold = scary as hell. Unless of course the enemy team has 1 or 2 boosters/smurfs... In which case your 'epic carrying' does exactly nothing.

That may be true for worlds (which I don't watch nor care about, but perhaps I should just for Cho) but for my elo (ranked Silver 3 to Gold 2 ish) this does not seem to apply so far. He never seems to make an impact on the game and everybody loves kiting him. He is banned most of the time yes but when he is not, he makes no impact. Also if the enemy team would ever pick cho top it would be hard for me not to pick someone like Nasus :P. But yeah maybe the pro's know how to abuse him to his full potential, most of us probably do not. But then again, lots of players in bronze, silver and even in gold often ban based on the highest elo picks/bans.

I see, stoneskin reduces damage dealt by 60%. So it doubles damage but then halve it by more than half so in the end you indeed do less with stoneplate. So around 5 to 7k hp seems to be max then for him (and pray for no Vayne and no botrk users). I still think that Cho is really weak. But a lot of fun with Titanic :P. But yeah... Early game his damage output is pretty much none and yeah all those flaws indeed... And his old favorite items have been nerfed. I think he is okay for bronze, silver league but I see no purpose to him in gold+.
