: TFT: Please nerf Ninjas/Assassins!

I was lvl 7, I had really good economy and I had **blademaster + Imperial + knight** synergy going on (ignore the kennen, he's there to counter blitz users). I had **2 stars Draven with 2 items** on him. I was winning vs the other players but no matter how I position my units, I always lose to these 2. I got unlucky and I got matched against these 2 back to back, several times in a row, and I got knocked out of the game really early, because {{champion:84}} kept one shotting everyone. And I mean **EVERYONE**!!! Including my tanky units! > > There is literally no counter play to such absurd damage and mobility (assassin trait). Noticeably, {{champion:84}} having only **25 mana bar** is absurdly stupid! Put any {{item:3070}} items on her and she'll be spamming her ability 24/7 (especially {{item:3040}}). > > {{champion:555}} has a really wide buggy hitbox on his ability: he can stun all units on **a line 3 hexagons thick**. > > Please either nerf Ninjas and assassins or completely rework the traits because they're definitely too OP and broken!! I can't even win against them with **6 Yordles** for god sake! {{champion:84}} just casually one shot half my yordles with one cast (_yordles are supposed to be a counter to assassins_, btw)!!! > > Anyway, I also made a [list of TFT bugs I encountered](https://boards.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bug-reports-eu/B1bORAAA-list-of-bugs-in-tft-i-encountered) so feel free to check it out and add other TFT bugs to it. It helps to have all the bugs in on place for **us** and maybe for the **_bug-fixing team_**! > {{sticker:zombie-brand-facepalm}} Completely agree, the last many games I have played the setup used by the two in your screenshot have been in my games as well and its a one shot party. And let me guess they are all just standing on a straight line on the backline right? The assassins and the way they work now is ruining the fun of TFT. Also it shouldn't be like there is only one possible counter setup to another. Like sorcerers you have items to counter them as well, position can help make you win over them and so on. So yeah they have to completely rework how assassins work, if they want to make the game fun again.

Indeed, assassins aren't easy to play at all, and some of them take hundreds of hours to master (Talon, Zed, Akali,). But, TFT is not a typical League game mode, and it doesn't necessarily mean that they must have the same amounts of damage as they do in SR. There is no high skill cap in TFT ffs!! Read that last sentence again rioters. So, instead of letting assassins ruin games for everyone (especially with the stupid placement you have to do just to avoid getting deleted in 2 seconds), just nerf them. Either the damage, or the cost. And I'm not saying nerf them to the ground, like you always do when nerfing something, just a small nerf, like increase the cost of some crucial assassins. Thank you. Assassin builds are really easy to counter, just put all your people in a corner with tanks in front defending your carries.

: They even stated that onslaught is designed for the very best players regarding micro and teamwork. You are not among them and cant gather a team? Dont worry, not everybody is able to do it. Very best, remember?

Dont worry, not everybody is able to do it. Very best, remember? I fail to see how onslaught being designed for the very best players, have anything to do with getting games going in the first place, where people are actually on the same page or what that have to do with the UI being poorly designed. If Riot make missions designed for premade only, then they should make that a requirement for the mission in the first place, again its about bad design, because you assume that in order to do this mission you would have to do that. Which is clearly not what Riot think, because they didn't make it a requirement, which would have been very easy for them to do. I know that they write in the mission description that the mission is considered hard, but you implying things that are not true is simply a wrong assumption. I do agree with you that being able to premade the missions would be a lot easier, but that is pretty much it.
: First of all, I'll concede every point you made in the first paragraph to you. But I have to disagree on your view of a design. I believe your experience relies entirely on one of a consumer, the _receiving part_ of a design. And in that position I regard it as completely inappropriate to talk about a design like it would be something naturally flawless or easy. That aside I think our discrepancy might lie in a more refined detail: >Making a design where you expect random people to work this out in 1 minute before the game start is poor design Here's the thing: No one ever told you to talk it out with strangers. No one. As I've said in a different [comment](https://boards.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/forum-games-contests-en/8pnN2wnI-kayns-patience-is-running-low-and-so-does-mine?comment=000a) : >With some insight you should realize really soon that there is no effective way of doing a 5 man mission alone. >There are boards/reddit/else as well as creative ways of adding people from games with the same mission. You might talk about a bad design, where there is none.

I tried to tell you, that Riot don't just make these missions and free stuff as a gift to the players. I would be very surprised if they didn't have some data showing that doing this improves sales or draw in new players. As with any other game, if those additions or new content is not working very well, Riot will get complains for it, because it annoys people. So as I see it, its a balance between adding content and the risk of people complaining. And clearly people like the new content as long as its done correctly, look how many that are playing Aram for instant. I don't expect design to be flawless, but on the other hand some things are obviously bad, if you remember back in the days, where people didn't sign up for a given role in SR, causing a huge number of games to be ruined by people instant locking whatever they felt like, sometimes several in the same position etc. Why would Riot bother fixing that, people could still play games, just a lot of them were ruined? They did it because it was a bad design that ruining the game experience for the players. To me there is no difference when it comes to this mode. The way they designed the missions and people not being able to complete missions because players just do what they want, either because they have no clue what it means when someone write 3 augs etc. I still have the mission to complete onslaught with 4 or less augs, half the time, people just write, 3 or 2 augs, which to me is not really important i just want to complete it with 4 augs. Having to spend time failing constantly because if this, when I havent even done it with 4 yet, is a waste of time. So whether or not you are told to talk to strangers or not, its your best chance of trying to work something out in that 1 minute and hope that everyone agrees, are not afk after having locked in there character. And based on the amount of name calling and reporting treats, I would say that its not really working well either.

This is really, really ridiculous. Have you _ever_ designed anything? Do you know how hard it is to make things idiot proof? Especially in a world that keeps producing better idiots?

Have you _ever_ designed anything? Do you know how hard it is to make things idiot proof? Especially in a world that keeps producing better idiots? The reason they do these things is to keep the game fresh and therefore making people more interested in the game, its not a matter of them simply being nice, its part of the business model that they have chosen. Therefore you as player is perfectly allowed to "complain". And I don't really like the word complain, because you might as well see it as feedback, as you will also noticed I wrote nothing about the reward from the missions being bad or anything. Im giving them feedback on how they have chosen to design the UI for this mode, which leads to people name calling, leaving, going AFK. Because they might be confused about all the different missions that those in the party are all trying to do at the same time. Im pretty sure that is not the intention Riot had when making this mode. It would not be that hard to design a sign up system or missions so you could do them regardless of what missions other people are trying to do. Think about it, players are expected to predict that those random other players that they might be thrown into a group with have the same idea as they do, same amount of augments. Its not going to work, some people just want to win, while others might want to do a mission. Making a design where you expect random people to work this out in 1 minute before the game start is poor design, see no reason why Riot shouldn't be told so they can improve it for the next time.
: Odyssey onslaught is ruined by missions
Completely agree, its very poorly designed and Im stunned that Riot couldn't predict that such system would never work. I don't blame the players, its 100% due to bad design.

: Please fix laggy servers
I have tested my connection and there is nothing wrong with it. Maybe its that FPS thing, if thats still an issue? Are they still working on that or is that considered fix. Can see the thread they made is a month old...anyway its really annoying, seeing you character move into the middle of the enemy team and nothing you can do about it.

: FPS and Ping are fine but still getting lag?
I have the same problem 29 ms and no other internet issues outside lol, but still it feels like the character is not as responsive as they should, like there is a minor delay. Never had this problem before.
