That's weird logic. A stagnant game would die much faster than it is now, perceived or otherwise. The thing with Fortnite is that with Duo and Squads 9 times out of 10 you are playing with friends. And regarding CS, isn't that community really toxic, and don't people over there scream bloody murder about people singlehandedly losing/ruining games. Also, you can have bad team mates and afks in LoL and still win.
Yes Fortnite has that team based basically with friends, which is why people liked the Clash Tournamente in League. CS is really bad also yes, but atleast there if a guy is AFK people don't care, while here if a guy is afk you think " gonna be so hard ", when it shouldnt be hard, it should be fair, there should be a fair way to 4v5, give gold or boost stats to the 4 man team

Exactly my point, this should be a team based game, in which a team or somebody from a team should win but it actually is a team dependent game in which if ONE player wants he can make FOUR players lose and what those FOUR players can do is watch it happen. If you died X times, you would just lose LP and if you stood in the spectate, you could lose less LP if the rest of your team wins or if you prefer, just lose those 20LP and go another game right away. It is not about removing as punishment but as actual gameplay, there would be no punishment for dying those X times besides losing the LP, which would be the game rules. If you had that bad game and died, gotta improve, and people wouldn't want that to happen, so they would actually help you because it is MORE LIKELY for them to lose and nothing would happen to you as punishment rather than just impossible to win 4v5 and they tilting you to go afk to get a ban.

It's the solutions that are the hard part. As you noticed yourself, coming up with something that would actually help, that's waaaaay more difficult. It's not like Riot doesn't care or never thought about it. There is an entire department at Riot that is just focused on researching player behavior and finding solutions. They hire the best of the best, psychologists, neuroscientists, data scientists. They work with Harvard University and many more, they even recently created the Fair Play Alliance, an organization where Riot will unite their forces with Blizzard, Epic Games (you might know those^^), Intel, Discord and roughly 30 more companies to find solutions to fix the player behavior problem on the internet. As you might see now, this is not a problem that will just be fixed with one simple idea. This has been worked on for years by great minds and it's a fight that is not just won, it's a fight were you make tiny steps with lots of different things and the gaming culture changing slowly but steadily.
If you had a bad game, deal with it, just like every other game. You lost, you messed up somewhere, improve. I should not lose my LP because you lost the game so hard that you went afk you know? Riot cares, do not get me wrong, I never said Riot was a bad company, just stating my and others opinions that have some point to it. If a guy goes AFK for X minutes, make it unable for him to return and he can join another game, he lost LP and no punishment, in trade for that, give the 4 man team a boost in gold, or stats, or something to make the game even in a way in a 4v5 you know? Same for a 3v5 and other stuff. Don't make people go " Hahah I'm on my smurf, I don't care I'm afk ", while I just sit and wait to lose my 20LP. Make it possible to self carry.

Well to fix that problem, I would consider testing a beta game style. If you die more than X times( and it changes as the game goes ), you will be disconnected from the game and you will only spectate the game from your side and can try to communicate and help your team, if your team wins you still lose 15LP, if they lose, you lose 20 or whatever you should lose. If you lose but you were the last man standing, you lose 5 lp for example, if you were the 2 you lose 8 and from there on out. Something like this, I just said this idea from my head right now, never really thought about something specifically, but you understand my point? Something that stops me for going " Dude my mid is 0-7, and afk, game is done even tho in 4-1 ".

I understand your point, one is a MOBA and the other a shooter style but hear me out. The games have one thing in common, both are team based. But this one does NOT allow you to win LP on your own, while on Fornite or even CS:GO, you can actually WIN ALONE even if your team is bad or just goes afk, because it is team based and not team dependent. League is team dependent and not team based right now, that is where the problem is. I like to play as a team but I do not like the fact that if I want I can make you lose one game and there is NOTHING you can do besides watching it happen and if you decide to leave the game to not waste your time, your punishment will be more severe than mine, if I even have one.

: Yi, Aatrox, Tryndamere all have a weakness, cc. They can't do much in team fights and their early game is sh*t. Hell yi can't even 1v1 xin zhao now, given the same amount of gold. Gold and below will never be able to counter yi, these nerfs mean nothing in lower elo's. This just hurts his team fighting a little bit. CD reduced from 70 to 50%, lose some MR and get 10% flat on runes and solves that issue. Btw his attack speed isn't affected, as long as he can auto he will get his q back up..
Problem is that doing that is helping the low elo to counter Yi, because in high elo,Yi doesn't do much. The high elo Yi will disappear meanwhile
