: WTF even is jungle now
On one hand I like it, counter jungle makes more sense, as you can put enemy jungler behind, and they can't just catch up meaning you wasted more time traveling to their camps than they lost waiting for them to respawn. However, I feel like jungle was already a bs role for new comers to learn, and the worst role to have autofilled. It's a role that's manageable when you are comfortable with it, but if you are aren't it's totally unforgiving and this just makes that worse. The difference now between a jungle main, and an auto fill is 3-4 levels easy. In the end I think the jungle mains will find xp from the map, catching waves when lanes roam etc, and champs with strong clears and objective control will be meta. Interested to hear how other people feel.

automated response (with name redacted): "Blitzcrank Bot (Riot Games Player Support) Nov 18, 1:28 PM PST Greetings, human, I am Blitzcrank Bot. My purpose is to collect your report of ********** , make sure it is investigated and place it directly into our system. It appears you successfully submitted an in-client report involving this particular player and match, so I’ve gone ahead and registered your additional report information to that case. This will be attached to the reported account’s permanent record. Do not worry, we got your back, human - your report will be properly addressed. Intentionally feeding is one of League’s greatest sins. Thank you for doing something about it, human. Each report matters, and they improve our detection systems over time. I notice in the last 20 games you’ve made 3 reports. Thank you, my fleshy crusader! The system is gluttonous, feeding on reports such as yours to gain strength, like a human feeding on protein powder. For the offending players in question, your reports are helping to build a case against them and may result in a chat restriction or ban."

Will do. Yea it's crazy he can be so obvious and just get away with it. Even if people don't report, that type of activity should be picked up. You can tell it's common as well, when posts like this get down voted by people who wanna throw a tantrum every other game.
: Direclty report that said player with a support ticket to riot themselves. Tickets have to be checked and if you name that player, most likely reaction will be: someone checks his match history and status how he is settled in what observation group into the after game report system. Tickets have to be checked closer and just by that match history this won't need more than 3 minutes to identify whats going wrong here
I have submited a ticket with a screenshot. That sounds somewhat promising, thank you.

I finally got in, but the play button is greyed out. Saying there is an issue connecting to servers.

: Don't remember how many I only use one . You don't need more
You don't play ARAM, or different champs in different positions? You just dodge a lot, or rush to make a new rune page before every match? 3 is stingy as hell, but at least they do sell for blue essence.
: Yeah and 98% of the people in Europe don't even play league so most of the skins will be going to nobody. GJ riot games.
They will probably give two a way a day, just out of the codes that are input. I doubt the code in the can is actually tide to the prize like that.
: imagine thingking that it makes sense to get a skin that could cost 10 euro with every can LFMAO also, legacy skins are not necesarelly old there are tons from recent years
They might sell the skins for ten euro, but it doesn't cost them any more to produce if they give away 1 or 1000. It would be a promotion. It would get people who never tried LoL but saw they were gonna get something free, to try it out. These aren't goods that cost more to manufacture, so there value isn't tied to the amount it costs to produce more.

: I think RITO has to seriously consider to make separate balances between pro/high elo and "casual play". Some ideas popping in my mind: - Separate balancing for "rank x"+ (Diamond+? Master+?) and pro leagues - Separate balancing for normals and rankeds - Creating a new map with separate balancing which is somewhere between ARAM and Summoners Rift with a better design as Twisted Treeline (so basicly a successor to this mod) - Make a base champion line which is only available until "Rank X" (selection banned for pro play and any player with either higher MMR than X - like Diamond IV? - or has more than 100 MMR more than the games average, preventing high MMR normal game "smurfs" from abusing the system with premades too hard). You could then balance champions ignoring pro play. I am thinking around something like the current 450 BE champions. I am aware the core issue around many unsatisfying champion design is that they are not easy to balance for low elo and high elo at the same time. Leaving champions on boths ends borderlining the OP markers (pick/ban rate and/or win rate). I can understand that ranked Summoners Rift is supposed to have a balance focus on pro play, because well... obvious reasons for LEC/LCS and so on. Making a complete different map like Nexus Blitz or Twisted Treeline did not seem to hit the spot for a majority so far. They have said, they are working on getting a new "always available" mod, but all "candidates" have been dropped, because of declining interest/queues. A more casual game mode probably needs a little bit less tactics (like objects vs. kills, warding) and snowballing potential. The idea of only having 6 like in Twisted Treeline also obviously had the benefit of improving queue speed even with lower population. ARAM already has separate balances, so why shouldn't have a "real alternative to summoners rift" also have one?
Wouldn't that be kind of confusing? Especially for the "casual" player. Separating balancing in a game between PvE and PvP is one thing but separating it between ranks and types of PvP would be so convoluted. What happens when you have mixed lobbies? Imagine playing chess, but the pieces can move differently depending on what elo rating you both have. I definitely appreciate the suggestion and acknowledge the problem, but imo it wouldn't be as great as people are making out.

: You need less experience to reach level 30 now, it took me half a year to get to 30 during first season. Now it would only take month or two. So naturally you would have to play less games and because of that you would also earn less, thus not being able to unlock many champions. But it was actually much worse during those early seasons, because you also had to buy runes. One full rune page costed around 20k, that's more than 3 expensive champions. When I finally reached level 30 back then I only had like 5 champions and 1.5 completed runepages. And well, Rhaykko already explained why you need exactly 20 champions for ranked. It's a limit forced by game mechanics and not directly by Riot
Ok, it's easier now than it was before. That's great. But again, these systems seem detrimental to the game. Surely a better system is to lock rank behind Normal games played and games played with those 20 champions. The acquisition of those 20 champs shouldn't be a slog at all. Learning to use those 20 champs should be the slog. When people learn a champ they are more likely to be invested in and buy skins for that champ. As it is you are encouraged to get the cheapest champs you can, champs that you don't want to play, just so that if you have to play them you can. While it might be good for the income of the game, though even that may be a false economy. I definitely don't think it's good for the quality of the experience. It's certainly not better for the health of the game in terms of good matches.

Something like that. Maybe requiring at least 10 Normal PvP games with a champ before you can use them in ranked. It's 20 champions required for a reason. 10 bans + 10 picks, that's why it's the minimum. Imagine you have 19 champions,10 of those get banned and you are last pick. All your enemies pick the rest of your 9 champs, what do you play now? The minimum is 20 because if it was lower you wouldnt be able to play in case this happened. Before it was 16 because you had 3 bans on each team and 10 picks overall.
Yeah that's a fair point. Though it's honestly crazy to expect anyone to play 1 of 20 champs in a ranked game. Dragging down everyone's experience including ones own just to fill a slot.
: THe rate at which i can afford new champions
Yeah. It kind of annoyed me realising I had to buy 20 champs before I could play ranked. : If games get hard, i do unmute them and talk about what should be done.. But ppls ego's, including YOURS it seems are to big to accept. Even Amazing tweeted stuff about ppl's ego's being too much in the way in this game instead of accepting your own mistakes.. SO, when i talk to them of how the game should evolve later on they ignore me and just keep on playing the way they do. If you're good enough to carry, then carry you say.. try carrying a game when your team is 30 kills behind, 4 levels down.. cuz you don' thave to scroll alot in my history to check what i'm talking about. so pls, keep the bs to urself.
Ego? I'm not the one claiming to be better than everyone else on my team, while failing to take responsibility or focus on what I can control.
: What is wrong with matchmaking ?? I'm flabergasted to be honest!
You sound just as toxic as any of the players you're complaining about. Threatening to afk after 10 minutes if your team aren't good enough. If you are so great, carry. If you're not good enough to carry but really believe you know better then what can you do to improve or help your team, pre unmuting to complain? Whats suggestions or advice can you give your team either pre game or during, about item selection, objective priority etc. What can you do to be better and climb?

: Unplayable with new cursor, bring the old one back ASAP
What is it people don't like about this new one?
: buy 7 rune page bundle?
Most overpriced mtx in LoL. On streams I've seen people dodge last minute because they didn't get their pages set up in time, which probably wouldn't be such an issue but with auto filling and banning you can be left having to build last minute pages for champs you barely play. Silly thing to paywall to the degree they have imo, but it's f2p game so it is what it is.
Wannes (EUW)
: Missions are gone since patch 9.15
My missions disappeared as well. They have returned but now won't update after completion. Maybe server issues. edit: client just updated again and they went for another walk. Unless they will retroactively complete, today might be a write off for mission rewards.

: How to have fun in League Of Legends(Even in ranked play)
Making opponents feel miserable is your number 2 way of having fun, and people wonder why LoL is "as bad as it could be".

: PSA: If you dont want to do a role, don't be so harsh on the guy trying that role.
As someone who is only a few weeks in. Someone who watched dozens of guides on jungling, and pro game's to try and understand the role, as well as hero specific tutorials. Playing over 100 games vs AI before trying to PvP. I still make a ton of mistakes, because it's a role you can only really get good at by practicing in PvP mode. My camp clears are pretty efficient now, because I can practice that, but critical thinking, reactive pathing, you can't practice this stuff against AI. And while I dislike being called a ret*rd by people with only marginally better stats than my own (since players with much better stats are slightly more willing to give advice), what I really hate is dragging down and ruining the games of others. It feels like there needs to be a mode of PvP for players with less than 100 PvP games, or something along those lines. There would be smurfs, but it would be more like intro bots, where if someone tilts because a low level is feeding it's easy to say "Chill out this is for people learning. Carry, if you're that good." As it is with the only non ranked PvP mode being often filled with more experienced players, who very rarely seem to have any patience at all, it's really off putting to even attempt to play a game and get better. If I wasn't so stubborn and willing to ignore abuse while taking on the advice I don't think I'd do it, it's a really unappealing process almost every time. I'm by no means the worst new player either, which makes me wonder just how bad other people trying to learn must get it.
: i dodge if I'm autofilled
You are effectively taking the bullet for the team.
Kabakadamn (EUNE)
: That is the reason why Riot shouldn't assign people for the roles they do not want. Cuz if you dodge many, you are getting penalty; and this was the excuse of all the supps I had to play shitty game. ANd really I enjoy playing supp, but after being treated like this when I play supp. I really play shit but with the champs that I wanna play
I really do feel you. But don't start putting other adc's through something that you really don't like. Be the example. I had a great support earlier and it's really cool when you have that. Even more so because as you say it's rare. Be that guy.
: All free champions in practice tool
It's something I like about HotS , along with the art style and diversity in maps. Mechanicaly LoL is another level. But if you look at a new champion in HotS, you get an option to play a practice match, before you buy. Makes so much sense, I don't get how people think it doesn't. I can see how a seller who has no confidence in their product might, but not a consumer of that product.

: I'm having difficulity when playing on top of the map
I have a similar problem starting from the right side of the map, it jars me. But at least that's easy enough to set up in practice. Anyone know if it's possible to have AI in practice go mid or top instead of bot?

: Can't get my Capsule for completing the tutorial.
I have read so many of these threads now, dating back about 12 months, all without resolution. This is the least dramatic necro, so I'm resurrecting this one rather than creating it again. What is the issue with this? How does one resolve it? I tried restarting the client, as well as having looked through the inventory where I found the twitch crate. Thanks for any assistance.
