My champ pool on this account (which is my main) basically tells you everything about my total abscence of mechanical talent or laning. My map awareness is often way to poor although I play a role that doesn't even CS and I can't jungle track at all (although it's not even hard if you pay attention). I could even turn your argument and say that someone who plays 1500 ranked games a season and can't get out of Silver can't be taking the game serious and is a sheer casual (though addicted) player that is obviously not trying to improve at the game at all. Coming to the forums and telling Riot to let low mastery level people not play the game just suits this picture perfectly.

Small price to pay if it was to help the state of ranked ATM. I have enough champs to be able to pick something else if my champs picked. in ranked that should be the case. If someone doesn't then really they need to rethink if that person should be playing ranked or draft.

The thought behind unlocking at a certain lvl is your understanding of the game/champs would be a lot greater once you've reached a certain point. Hence not as much need to master a single champ if you understand how other champs mechanics. Again the aim here is to stop people playing first time or very few time champs in ranked. Maybe go down the line of 10 games in draft with a champ before you can use in ranked.

That's a fair comment and on your Janna of course take her. Maybe mastery points is not the best way maybe something on the lines of games played? The main objective in my post is to eliminate first time or very few games on a champ coming straight into ranked.

And you get camped, enemy team tower dives and etc 3 times. Boom! You are useless until 40th minute, no matter what you do. You were not able to deal any damage to turrets, champions and etc. Does it show your skill level? Or you lose the game and you lose more LP because of the exactly same reasons. : Definitely should not be based on kda alone, the system should take the average, healing, shielding, damage, damage to turrets, damage to objectives, wards, vision score, kills, assists, deaths in early (so pre 10 minutes) and cs. Once you take all of these factors together you can give the player a rating, this rating will determine how well the player performed each player in the game gets a rating that goes from 0 to 10. I cba to spend 3 hours doing riot's work, but you can come up with a formula that makes it so that there are 4 situations: 1. You win and play good = you **gain **more lp to award you winning and playng good 2. you win and play bad = you **gain **less lp to penalize for playing bad 3. You lose and play bad = you **lose **more lp to penalize for losing and playing bad 4. Your performance is already determined. Wow people comment on this and shouldn't be. The end of game report shows a ranking for your game performance.... So stupid... Just base LP on that and it's simple.

I've just had the exact same. Seems to be the norm. Got silver 2 after a nice win streak. And then to a nice loosing streak. Purely down to feeders and real bad team members. The only games I loose are the ones with feeders. Rarely do I see "fair" match ups and close games. You either win because enemy has feeders or loose because they are in your team.
