: Hello! You certainly must be aware of the issues because ranked queue have been disabled for 7 times(?) this month. Issues are present **especially** (but not limited to) when you disable ranked and on "best gaming time". The issues we are experiencing (not me only, but many other people, bug reports are full of posts about the issue) include but are not limited to these: -Client extremely unresponsive. -Client buttons greying out, freezing, but still not accepting command (for example "accept" button in queue). -Champion select/ban freezes. -"ghost lobby" you sign out and back in and you are still on the same lobby (that does not work) you were before logging out. -Creating lobby takes minutes to load up. Invites are 1-3 minutes delayed, position select etc, are 1-3 minutes delayed. In-Game - Health bars missing. - Score board stacking all champions over eachother. The problems have been persistient over 2 week perioud now, and I hoped that we players would get some answer what is wrong, maybe why, and when can we expect fix. Also these are not "occasional" problems, as I said, these are persistient and always occured when you disabled ranked, sometimes other times too. Also: Hexakill with missions :p Thank you. I'm not aware of this issue being persistent (it certainly shouldn't be), and especially after the deploy today I wouldn't expect to see this behaviour. We have been communicating on boards during these issues and via the service status page. Unfortunately we've had some pretty bad luck in EU recently - two of these issues were Clash related, and others were due to other unrelated issues that have happened within a small timeframe. We're amply aware of how bad things have felt in EU recently and will be working to prevent any major changes that may cause impact anytime soon - while there are some changes we absolutely have to do (patches, hardware maintenance), we'll be working to minimise disruption to the best of our ability.

Clash has been tested on numerous internal and external environments. There's only so much testing can be done without real world environments however - we thought we were ready for launch but obviously encountered some major issues. Recent tests in most regions went off quite well, with the exceptions of EUW and Turkey. We'll be taking our learnings from these regions to improve for future iterations, but it's conditions we can't replicate on internal or small test environments (IE: the large amount of players on EUW)

Thanks guys for the positive messages. These tests provide us with a lot of valuable information, and we knew there was some risk involved (Hence why it was a test, and not over a whole weekend like last time). That being said, impact went far beyond what is acceptable (all of platform, not just Clash), and we'll be doing our due diligence to prevent this from happening in any future tests or Clash tournaments we have.

Hi DubenRark, I'm not sure where your information has came from, but it's incorrect. During the initial Clash launch weekend, we experienced issues across numerous regions, and players were compensated accordingly and evenly - NA did not get anything EU didn't. For this particular instance, this was specifically intended to be a test rather than a full launch, and some issues were expected. While things definitely impacted further than we anticipated (beyond Clash), there will not be compensation for a test experiencing issues. Players who signed up for Clash will, however, receive the rewards based on their placing that they would have got - so if players didn't manage to get into game but were meant to play, they will still receive an orb based on their final standings.

Further information will be posted once we've locked down the details - there will most likely be further tests, however no locked in details yet. As for what we'll do to prevent it, each issue has been separate and we've prevented it from happening again. During this round of tests, most regions launched without an issue except for Turkey and EUW. The issue in Turkey was fixed and not the cause of the issue today - we'll need to investigate further and ensure this doesn't happen for our future Clash tournaments.

It does not detect which games are or are not having issues (as sometimes it's impossible, or impossible to tell if issues are related to whatever issue we're having). While it's not an ideal solution, it's one of the reasons we don't enable it often as players ask for - only for larger scale issues.

Thanks everyone for the updates. From our side things are looking healthier also, so we're going to re-enable ranked momentarily. We'll keep an eye out for any further issues, however as we are not peering at the IX having issues, we should not see a recurrence of this. We will return peering to normal at a later point, once the issue is confirmed resolved.

Hey guys, Just to give you a status update: - A pretty large internet exchange in Europe is showing peering issues, resulting in issues from a lot of ISP's (unrelated to us, however our Riot Direct network also utilises this Internet Exchange) - We are currently about to drop peering with the ISP's experiencing issues, to hopefully make them reroute around this IX. Unfortunately we can't "force" any ISP's to not use this IX, but it's hoped that by not peering directly, they will have a preferable route outside of the problematic exchange. - This will potentially cause a large amount of reconnects as the traffic reroutes, however we will enable loss prevented for these specific games. While going off of the Riot Direct network may result in a small increase in latency or a slightly less stable connection than you are used to, given the pain of the exchange experiencing issues right now, this is the preferred option. We will continue to investigate and update when this is completed.

Hi Anhreia, If you currently have a filter on in champion select, please turn it off (IE: "Support" selected). It takes around a patch for that information to populate, so Pyke won't show in any of those filters at the moment.

Hey NickosAvgeris, We've actually been running these tests on other regions in different days, and are doing a different region every couple of days for testing purposes. This means that some regions are mid week, some are start of the week, and some are weekend. This isn't going to be the plan once Clash is fully launched, but for the purpose of testing each region we're doing this over 2 weeks or so and fixing issues as they come up for future regions - rather than doing all regions at once and having the same issue repeatedly. Hopefully this makes sense! ^_^

Given that it happens to multiple people and on different servers (seen threads both here and on NA) it seems like it isn't local issue. Or at least part of it isn't local. I'd love to hear if the issue is even acknowledged by Riot or am I to assume that my choices are to try messing around on my end hoping that the issue is on my side or to resign from League.

In previous runs people have had their shop reset due to issues on our end with initial launch (usually people within the first few hours) and honoured those who preferred their original offers - but it's never been something "on demand" as it's not intended to happen - just a side effect of some incorrect offers being shown at first unfortunately :-( This time things seem much smoother and the offers are working as expected, so I'm hopeful we shouldn't see a recurrence of that this time around.

Hi hinski, Please remove the filter you're using (support). It can sometimes take a while for that to populate with roles for a champion - and if you filter by role and the champion doesn't have that role, it won't show :-)

Loss Prevented is enabled due to server issues resulting in players being unable to get into game correctly on a wide scale - this results in reduced LP gains and no losses for the losing team, as it's very likely players in a lot of games were unable to play correctly.

We wanted to give you guys an alternative game mode to play, as we know plans were made specifically around Clash as a mode. While we can't provide Clash, we wanted to do something that the community will hopefully find enjoyable, as ARURF is one of our more requested game modes. Regardless of whether we enabled this or not, Clash remains canceled for the weekend, but a priority for us to get working as soon as possible.

Oceania was one of the first regions to launch - and where we first encountered issues. As for plans, we haven't announced anything concrete yet but keep an eye on the news articles. First and foremost we have to resolve the issue - at which point we'll be able to share future information on how we plan to (re) launch Clash.

: It's like always, NA gets priority. Ofcourse Clash isn't getting canceled there. Also what do you think will your statement give us. Yeah some people cancelled family meetings or going out with friends, but you are apologyizing literally 10 Minutes before the tournament starts. And than you can't even gift a free skin or anything useful and think everyone is happy now. I just hope no one shows any interest in this trashy Clash Mode anymore.

[Clash has been cancelled in North America also.](https://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/riot-games/announcements/clash-na-launch-cancelled-due-technical-issues) This wasn't an EU exclusive issue, and has resulted in almost all regions being cancelled. This isn't 10 minutes prior, this is a day before. We know we dropped the ball on that with Day 1 (today) - which is why we're making this decision much earlier for the weekend, to avoid a repeat.
