: [Resolved] Patching Issues
Hey all, We believe we've found the root cause of the large patch size, and this should also be resolved. If you are still downloading the 1.5GB patch, you may need to restart in order to get the smaller patch size.

The ones you're showing (lol.launcher/lol.launcher.admin) are the old ones, and will show this error. The "LeagueClient.exe" is the one that should launch the newer client - does this one show the exact same screenshot as before?

That looks like you're using an incorrect shortcut/exe - as it looks like the old client (which is ded). If you go to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends and run "LeagueClient.exe" do you get the same error/issue?

That system is plain stupid, and I've seen a lot of trash talk about it because it punishes **innocent** people. I know that Riot will probably not even check this thread, let alone take measures, because losing a summoner or 2 means nothing compared to how big the community is, but this is really getting annoying.

The patching issue would not have impacted players who were in queue, or in game. We intentionally do not check for patches while you're in this state, because we know this causes problems if you get disconnected. This was an entirely unrelated incident and patcher would not have caused this I'm afraid.

Hey guys, We're started to see the files replicate out as expected - this can take a little while but you should be seeing the patch shortly. We're aware some players are seeing large patch sizes (1.5GB+) and are looking into this one. This seems to impact players who did not patch up to 7.23 before this second patch was pushed.

The patch itself isn't the issue, the problem is the patch files didn't make it to the CDN (Content Distribution Networks) globally - meaning you're unable to receive the files required. This is something we use pretty extensively (every patch we use this same process), so we'll be investigating what went wrong with this particular "push" after we resolve the issue. For now, priority is getting those files pushed out globally so patching can continue as normal.

We were releasing a patch to resolve the store issues (store button intermittently not available) - however the files have not replicated out globally correctly. : Lost conn during a match, can't reconnect at all.
Hey guys, Looks like we unfortunately had a bunch of game servers experience a power outage - we're looking into it right now but this was unrelated to the upcoming patch, and was not intentional. We're reaching out to find the status of this and looking to bring these servers back online - apologies for the inconvenience. For games that were running on these servers, they will usually not count as a win/loss or show in match history. For those of you who may be stuck with a "reconnect" button, we'll be working to try to resolve this - worst case scenario we have a failsafe of games expiring after 2 hours from launch to prevent accounts being stuck indefinitely. Once again, apologies for this.

Hey guys! We've been working on improving the transfer service during its downtime - unfortunately we ran into issues meaning we will most likely **not** be able to bring things back online tomorrow. We don't have an updated ETA I'm afraid - once we have something solid we'll be sure to provide more information, but just wanted to jump in as it looks pretty unlikely it'll be today/tomorrow :-(

Chat logs are available for all games up to a certain time period, yes. They have their uses (IE: we may want to look at reported games that DIDN'T trigger a suspension)

Priority right now is actually getting the rewards out, then we can look at the additionals such as boards etc.

Hey Death Gale! Unfortunately notifications can sometimes be delayed or never arrive when the store is under heavy load - due to end of season ranked rewards going out, there's quite a bit going on right now which may explain it. I can, however, confirm your friends received their blitz and trist skin respectively - so they're good to go with them! :-)

These files are no longer in use - the new league client uses C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\LeagueClient.exe. If you're missing this file, I recommend a reinstall as mentioned by LazySlav :-)
: Available Item Pool Error? What happened?
Hi ArchEnemyNemesis - the mystery champion token works like other mystery gifts and requires a pool of 10 or more applicable items to be available to you. In this case, you need 10 or more champions worth 790RP or higher - as you can see, you only have 6 total - so cannot purchase the mystery champion token.

(IE: Nami is on sale right now)
