: No, it was way too expensive. Also I see no problem with the new runes other than aftershock.
But, how about a rollback to s4?
: Season 2000000000, someone still ask for the old runes.
: Well this wil never happen but for the sake of discussion: Was to much grind to get all champs + runes they cost so much IP so mate if they make them free. They took all of my runes collection, I got all runes that I could have and give me tones of Be so if they give them all back to me sure why not but to grind them back after I got them all, no tnx.
I never assumed that it will happen, I just like daydreaming to a universe where they will roll back to season 4.

: why are you angry with me? it sounds like you are angry, but I don't work for riot and I never said that I agree with what they do, all I did was state how they do it to answer your initial questions about changes, balance etc.
Not angry with you, I'm tilted, sorry if I came off as angry.
: Actually, your logic is flawed. > So basically, you want to gank as much as you can, inbetween taking some camps here or there. Do you really think that you can gank people if you are 2/3 levels behind? Once they hit level 6, you might be lvl 4 and not effective at all. What you'd want to do know is gank less and farm more. Here is how the jungle works : Your camps spawn 2min30s **AFTER** you kill them (and it's 5min for buffs). The new camps also give more exp than the ones before. So any camp not dead is actually a loss of exp and gold (since your want the next one to spawn faster). If you never kill a camp until minute 15, It will still be lvl1 and give you a very small amount of exp. Actually, this change will push you to farm more so your camps spawn faster and you can get the exp again. Don't forget that unlike lanes, if you don't go to camps and kill them, you will never level up. So just spam ganking and not farming enough will put you behind quite a lot. So any camp you ignore or delay to gank will be a huge hit to you now unlike before. Just seeing a camp on the map that is not dead will be enough to make us shiver XD hhhh (joking) But you got my point, ganking more with the exp nerf will just hurt you. And junglers who just perma farm will be the ones who benefit the most from this because their camps spawn rotation will be much faster, so they will benefit from every second and get the full exp.
Ah, ok thank you for your input. I got the wrong information by reading the subreddit + jungle changes. You got my point, which you probably will find the logic in, if that was the case. Anyways ty for correcting.

: I don't think you understand. most changes riot does are not there to make the game better but purely for the sake of changes. that's why a lot of changes are spaced out like that - wait till people getr bored with old staff untill changing it to new staff. That being said i think they screwed up with adcs changes last year way too hard, they kinda admitted it, but refused to do anything about it.... kinda weird.
Let's see here, Overwatch doesn't change the game every 2d week, still top 3 most popular games. Dota 2, same thing, still popular. Fortnite, only new game modes, skins, some major tweaks here and there, still popular. %%%%ING MINECRAFT, doesn't change, still popular, but wait, there's more... OLD SCHOOL RUNESCAPE, still popular, and they literally rolled back all changes, kept the new Runescape, and released the old Runescape as OSRS. New skins, patches & bugfixes now and then, and then big changes 2 times a year, would keep this game much more alive, than people literally quitting because the only champion they find fun to play just got ruined. (Rakan, Aatrox rework), or people quitting because they don't have enough time to adapt to new changes and play the game consistently. Or people quitting because they want to boycott this game, for making changes (adc mains). Some of us don't have the time to adapt to all changes, some of us don't want changes every second week, some of us don't want nerfs to champions that the devs doesn't know jack shit about. There are many one tricks out there, that know exactly what their champions pros and cons are, and they know exactly how to make the champion balanced. I mean, I'm also sure that Gosu, Doublelift, Uzi and many more knows their pros and cons within the marksman role, and have a lot to say about it, and how to fix it, instead Riot puts %%%%%%s in charge that has not played a single game in plat+, and knows nothing about the role. I'm also 100% sure that even LS, who knows probably every scaling numbers of every champion, and the cooldowns at each level, would do much better job doing patches solo, than a group of 20 monkies who are currently hired within Riot's balance team. New is not always good, new is not always the solution, new is not always popular. if this was the case, all 80s rockbands would've died out, and there wouldn't be a single dude out, rolling with his oldschool Chevelle. OSRS would have no playerbase.

: https://twitter.com/MarkYetter/status/1088298441237647360 > I see a lot of "preseason during the season" comments these days. Our current philosophy on systems changes is: 1. big disruptive and awesome stuff once a year in preseason 2. changes still needed throughout the year to improve the game and solve issues - focus on low disruption Tweet from a Rioter on how they do preseason. Biggest and most disruptive patch is the patch the season starts on. Or this dude must thing that jungle exp changes are low disruption ------------------------------------ The real Irelia mid nerf is coming next patch. Her W will only reduce AD damage but at 50% instead of 40%.
If they did that from the beginning instead of deleting the damage to shields, and the disarm that would've been so good for Irelia, and honestly I don't see how that would be broken at all. I don't see any way that a season should start with big changes, like the jungle nerf, atleast when they nerf late game junglers, when they wanted a nerf for early game junglers. Also, he clearly stated "big disruptive and awesome stuff once a year in preseason", while the biggest change happened today, live, on season 9. so apparently as you said, he probably thinks that all these big changes are low disruption. The only big change I understand is the rune change, which I think were bad and good at the same time. I loved the old runes and masteries, but as they stated "you may pick the runes that fit your playstyle" which, as a Rengar main I can agree with, having Klepto/HoB/Grasp/FFW as alternatives for toplane, while in the jungle, I have FFW, HoB and Electro. Otherwise, it seems for the most changes they do, they are getting flamed by the community. and why does this happen? Because the devs don't play the game themselves, they balance around pro-scene for the most part, making some champions entirely useless in soloQ, while still being a good pick in pro play or maybe even in high challenger. (Ryze). This destroys all the fun from the players below masters, that either think that for example Ryze is fun, but totally shit tier in their rank. I mean, Riot tries to listen to the community, sometimes it works, most of the times, it doesn't. The devs, if they play the game themselves, considering how little time they actually have to play, they end up being silver on average. Same with the Aatrox change, there was no Aatrox main that liked it. Pre-reworked Galio, was a heavy counter to ap damage, and then they changed him to be a damage dealing caster mage with % damage reduction, and almost a global ult with % damage reduction, scaling with ap. Mordekaiser was a battle mage like Viktor, they reworked him, to get a nice little bonus if he is close to an ally, + if he kills drake, he gets the drake as a pet. Now what world do we live in where people want to play Mordekaiser as adc, or support? They are putting all these unnecessary changes, that no one wants, and when the whole community is outraged, they do nothing to compensate for that. And just like EA, the big companies don't care unless they loose money. How do they loose money? By loosing players, and ESPECIALLY this game that is free to play, keeping the demand for skins high, by making quality skins for various champions. And there are many champions that needs a skin, but guess what? Riot just %%%%ing loves pumping out skins to Lux, Ezreal, Soraka, Lulu, and many more. So the only way for people to get noticed, is spam the reddit, spam the boards, spam the instagram comment section, and stop playing, or atleast stop paying. This is literally the only way to talk to big companies. They dont give a shit about anything else than reputation and money, and EVEN IF THEY LOSE THE GOOD REPUTATION, THEY STILL GET MONEY.

: Next champ will copy abilitys from DOTA champs...
: Agree. I got the new Yorick in ARAM few weeks ago. Couldn't do anything during the game, if I tried to read the abilities ppl would either yell me to stop afk'ing, or I'd get straight up ambushed by enemies. I wasn't able to summon a single ghoul during the game 'cause I had no idea how to 'cause I had no time to really read the abilities with thought.
Feel you. Just imagine a new player, trying out Zoe for the first time (in this case, can't blame him, since he, in this story is a new player) and having him trying to understand Zoe's ability, and trying to debunk what Zoe's W actually does. > Passive - Spell Thief: Whenever enemy champions cast a summoner spell or item active, they drop the corresponding Spell Shard onto the ground that grants sight over a 100-radius area and remains for 40 seconds. Some enemy minions spawn with random Spell Shards that only drop to the ground for 20 seconds if killed by Zoe. Collecting a Spell Shard allows Zoe to activate Spell Thief within the next 60 seconds. She can replace her current Spell Thief active by moving directly onto another Spell Shard. > Active: Zoe mimics the active of the collected Spell Shard. > Passive - Wheeeee: Casting Spell Thief or one of her own summoner spells grants Zoe bonus movement speed for the next few seconds, and summons three bubbles that orbit her for the next 10 seconds. The bubbles autonomously hurl themselves at the nearest enemy in range, prioritizing her attack target, dealing magic damage. Our poor guy would have to have some kind of translator for all this, he wouldn't understand half of the text being displayed right in front of him.

: A stun and slow is more than some champions have, especially on normal skills, Hecarim for example only has hard CC on his ult so it's a long CD, Sylas ult of letting him steal ults gives him even more as he can steal whichever ult is needed at the time. But aye the mobility is the main issue, every champion has a mobility skill making it irritating to play older champions who feel very immobile, so many people can jump over walls these days with a normal skill it's becoming a real pain.
I agree here, while I personally enjoy high mobile champions, I don't feel like it is necessary. Just imagine if Darius had a dash or something, built into his E? That would be absolutely terrifying. I just feel like it would be nice to let some champions not be as mobile, and not give every new champion some form of escape/dash. Even Ornn and Galio has a dash.
: "Whole novel worth of text". OH MY GOD, THERE'S 5 WHOLE SENTENCES PER ABILITY. GOD HAS ABANDONED US. THE END IS COMING. WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!! You've never even touched a book in your life have you? I also love how you list jax as an example of a good champ when he's some of the most broken and antifun garbage you can face in top lane atm.
While Jax is quite annoying, his kit is very straightforward and a great example, that champion has not been changed, and is one of the older champions, he is also being played in higher elos, unlike Garen, Annie where only the one tricks might get Challenger. Also, while I do not have a problem Reading, I honestly don't know how you can't see it as a problem having this much text in one ability. > Passive - Spell Thief: Whenever enemy champions cast a summoner spell or item active, they drop the corresponding Spell Shard onto the ground that grants sight over a 100-radius area and remains for 40 seconds.
