: Fps is hold back by processing power of your cpu. And then there's some other more common problems. This means you either: - overspent on gpu and are running a mediocre cpu next to a top tier gpu - that there's something awefully wrong with your setup/configuration - a (malicious) program is slowing it down/you're running too many processes in the background [as response to the 1080ti guy]
Nah aint my PC 16GB RAM with i7 4770k to meet that 1080ti
HDinis09 (EUW)
: Why would u need 144 fps? LOL
Have you seen the difference from 30 to 144fps? I genuinely feel a difference and when it drops down to those numbers, the game is just horrible since you're already use to higher frames. It affects game-play for many who are at 100fps+. Edit; I run a 1080ti and I get 80 frames roughly. Doesn't make sense. £900 GFX there.

**Update; I am now Gold 2 from Platinum 5 in 2 days, this is amazing.**

Then don't let yourself fall that low. Stop playing when you tilt.
Funny thing is Enjutsu - I don't tilt. I've played competitively all my life, pretty much use to all things by now. I can have a bad game personally and go into the next one dominating. That's the difference.
Strigina (EUNE)
: >I can see that from my scoring from the past 6 games where I've ran around the map killing people. And still you lost 4 of those 6 games. Killing people doesn't win the game, getting objectives does.
Would like to point out that during those 6 games I was getting objectives. Loses are there due to bad decision making 100%. Sometimes can be my part but I would NEVER attempt a 1v5 like some of the people in my games.
Proppa (EUW)
: It feel's like there is almost 2 seperate leagues to me, one where people play well, work together as a team, communicate and are friendly. Then you enter the "we need to drag you back down league" where they are the same elo, but troll, afk, are toxic or seem to have no idea how to play safely etc. If I die once early, I know my opponent has an advantage, so I'll play much safer, let the wave push to me if needs be farm under turret. Wait for jungle/mid/top intervention and try to recoup the advantage. But when you see people die again and again and again, it makes you wonder how these people are in the same league as you. I don't know if that makes sense and I know I'm far from being the best at the game, but from my experience this season there is a world of difference between the players.
I somewhat feel this too. You're not alone. Just wish I wouldn't be put in that "second league" where there is no opportunity to improve.
: Think a minute please. You played really bad and lost a lot of games so you certainly did not belong to your league in your current form. Therefore you dropped down a league. Now you are dominating everyone because you are better than everyone. The reason is not that the system is broken but that you got back to form. This happens in real sports aswell. In german table tennis there's an elo system with ranked points like the LoL MMR and if some player with 1700 points has some very bad tournaments due to mental issues or whatever and drops down to 1590, they get seeded with 1590 for the next tournament. The tournament favorite with 1690 points then meets this player in the quarterfinals and is like wtf why am I playing against them in the quarterfinals and not in the finals, they're the strongest opposition. Well, they aren't. There are other players at 1650, 1630 etc above them. They're at 1590. They once were at 1700, that's correct, but they did drop down because they played really bad for several tournaments, who are you to predict they'll be at 1700 strength at this tournament again and not continue to fail their games?

I play fairly decent just to let you know. You wasn't in the game where I usually go 70+ farm ahead at 13 minutes. Games are lose due to bad decision making.
Zanador (EUNE)
: My guess: you have good mechanics, but that does not matter too much after a certain rank. You stomp when you drop to a rating where your mechanical and micro skills are far superior than the others, yet just recently you've been through a losing streak. So my suggestion: work a bit on your macro skills, communication, planning, teamwork, etc, since if i'm right, then that's your current weakness in your original rating. If i'm right and you improve those, you'll probably climb even higher than original.

Zanador if you go to https://app.mobalytics.gg/gpi/euw/Shmoeggle you'll notice that my macros are pretty much fine. I've dropped on aggression due to attempting split pushing just to find out if that was a better option but seems not.

: https://i.imgur.com/z9zBwMal.jpg Yeah not sure which games you are referring to, but it rly doesnt look like you are playing below your elo...
Exactly. Not playing below my elo which was P5. Yeah farm is not picture perfect but I'd rather ditch my farm and go snowball other lanes. Game loses are there because of bad decision making and when I point it out to someone they just flame. So stressful.

: > riot and riot white knight : you deserved where you are at , our system works > Well, the system works, it's not flawless but it works. Keep in mind computers are automated, not like humans. If you have an idea how to improve the ranking system share it with Riot but remember it needs to be automated - ranking system works with data it doesn't watch the game. I don't get why everybody wants to climb, what does everyone expect in higher elo? From bronze to diamond there is same amount of feeders, in every game there is a person who doesn't win - it's not LCS where it ends with 5/5 team kills.

: Am I just genuinely unlucky?
After digging through some websites I found an analysis site and punched in all my details. It turns out that **I'm actually not inconsistent** and my scores are on par if not over what the average platinum player has. After reading the tips that it has given me thou, I will improve on them. Because to be honest it looks like I haven't improved just yet but I'm not labelled as inconsistent for those stating that I am.
Enjutsu (EUNE)
: You're not being unlucky, you're bad at top or at least worse. The way you play top and adc is very different. If you change role don't be surprised that you perform worse.
Just went to go play game back on Marksman without fail it's a win.
Rumkatten (EUW)
: Because you are a good adc main who 2 weeks ago rerolled top/mid and aren't quite as good as a top main, perhaps.
Yeah I re-rolled because needed a change, I've played adc all my league life and fancied something different. Chose top lane for the 1v1s but do fairly good between 0 and 10 after that it's down hill. I get a few people saying that I'm good etc when I run them down they say in /all "Noo, not again" etc pretty funny.
Enjutsu (EUNE)
: You are inconsistent. Your most played champions are adcs, but your recent played champions seem to be toplaners. Then it seems like you're on your way to test out all the champions game has to offer.
I've been adc all of my league life so I wanted a change and went top lane for the 1v1 outplays and fun, I manage my outplays just mid game comes along and I'm screwed!
Smerk (EUW)
: I'm looking at farm mostly, KDA is secondary, although there are few other important stats, just had no time to look at everything
Farm early game is fine I keep to par with my vs but fall of mid.
Smerk (EUW)
: Luck plays very small role in a long run. While it can happen sometimes it is clear that your own performance is quite inconsistent, you can't blame others when you do just as bad just as often
Knew you'd be commenting sometime. In all fairness thou I haven't full on stated a blame for my loss Smerk. If you're looking simply at the kda then you're looking incorrectly since my early game is pretty fine, it's just mid when enemies are pretty much fed and I join in on team fights.

: Can we PLS do something about these people....
In all fairness this happens way to often especially when you know for certain that a game is over, E.g; your team is like 10kills together enemy team is like 30kills and 6 tower difference, and there's always that 1 person pre or 2 person that say no then you're stuck playing. I'm not going to lie and hide from it but tbh it's come to that point where yes I have actually left games and gone to make myself a coffee since it's that stressful.
: I don't see the point of making this post You probably had your JG go bot last round and they got a free baron from it but, whats the purpose of this post? Every jungle is an independent person, people make bad choices and people make good ones You cannot steryotype that with all jungles because someone in your last game did it lol
Made it because it happens every match. So I just ask why.. Am I not allowed?

This Elo is driving me INSANE. How can this Elo be so bad?!
Etherim (EUW)
: Platinum 1 here, i've been there. Sorry to tell you, of all tiers, platinum has to be the worst (in terms of attitude and behaviour) Everyone has ego, people will get tilted easily and are more toxic, people are so rushed to get to diamond and think everyone else is trash because they're platinum. You can get through this alone, just by being untiltable and playing based on your momentum. The more you play the more you learn Don't force yourself to play in bad conditions Don't overthink it I believe in you :D
Thanks for the reply! I've got this! {{sticker:sg-shisa}}

: Yes, however it's your job to leave early enough. Small help is better than no help and it's your junglers problem if he decides to start from top side. I have noticed that a good time to stop leashing is when the minions meet at the top lane or the bot lane (same rule works for bot laners). You should arrive just in time.
Cool, thanks for the reply. Guess I'll keep helping then! Just make sure to leave when minions meet.
: I usually hit the buff until it has around 600 HP. It depends tho, If I have Darius I always fear I accidentally kill it with my passive so I stop earlier. If my jungler comes late for some reason I go to my lane because I don't want to lose a whole wave. It depends on the toplaner too. If my enemy is a Nasus I don't want to give him any CS early.
Alright sick! So stacking champions just go to lane and deny last hitting. If tick laner leave buff earlier than 600hp If anything else stay until 600hp/minions meet in lane. Thanks for the help dude!

: So that's another one you can add to the list of "skillshots" where the animation doesn't match the hitbox.
I mean I'm not sure, just for me it doesn't seem to be connecting. Just wanted to find out if anyone else had the same issues.

: you could've gone to the fight outnumber them and win it, then go to the Fiora -> baron, but you can judge better if you could've won that fight together or not because if not, your decision was better. just a gold elo opinion. ^^ Edit : Fiora might have a TP and showing in the fight might make her use it instead of pushing that top.
Nice reply and thought. All I wanted to do was to stop the wave from pushing as much then rotate back to my team, but something happened whilst I was doing that. Next time I'll just join my team by the looks of the reply above.
: Gotta know when to strategically give up objectives and when not to. If you're fed, you don't leave the fight to def a tower. You can even give up inhib tower for baron - since acing the enemy team will result in a baron. Split strategy is always countered by engage comps, and 4v5 fights. That's why it's rare to see split in high ELO. They will insta jmp on your team if you give them a 4v5. You were 12/5 , fiora was 3/7. She was worthless, you weren't. This is the response you need. If you take out a carry, and make it go def against a worthless splitpusher, the teamfight will be lost. Your team had single target dmg dealers, except kennen - who can't wipe a team, and a leona that deals no dmg vs 4 AOE damage dealers. It's not hard to predict who will win the fight. Enemy was full of squishies + you were a 12 kill zed. Did I open your eyes?

So I made the wrong choice on protecting our second top tier tower which could of potentially got to our inhib tower/inhib. Next time I'll make sure to just push down mid with the rest of my team. Cheers for that.
