Well, the new kit seems to involve more skill than just point & click. There is not much impressive outplay-potential in that. The new kit offers LOADS of outplay-potential....as long as you know how to use her new kit that is.

: I have wished for this since like 2014. I've made so many stupid mistakes buying champs like Vayne, Zac and Heimer. Vayne- It's a very powerful champ, but it's just not for me. I'm not very good at positioning and the knockback spell is pretty worthless if you cant position yourself right. Zac- I'm not gonna lie, I've played like 10+ different champions in the jungle and Zac is the worst one of them. He either does no damage or is incredibly squishy. Heimer- He is very powerful, but the problem is that his rockets and stun are quite hard to land, you seriously have to main him just to make him useful. Sadly Rito wont be making such a thing. With this stupid BE coming slower, Rito forces a lot of players to buy champions with Riot points instead.
Zac offers incredible tools to gank tho and his clear is fine. No need to deal super high dmg when there is CC. Yes - atm he is not a god-tier pick, but he works just fine.

To be fair, i kind of sympathize a little bit with that guy. It's pretty rude to exclude other present people from conversations by just speaking other languages. You can do that on TS3/Discord or by whispering. Doing so in Teamchat is RUDE - especially on a server that probably uses english as an unofficial main language (because everybody should understand that at least a little bit when playing onlinegames imo). So I get the frustration/annoyance he might have felt and wouldnt say it was intentional racism. Yes, it still is racism at the end of the day, but nowhere near is it justifyed to be a perma-ban.

Not needed. Just make it a "get an S/S+ in 3 consecutive games" or something like that. Or add some additional challenges tied to masteries. Getting an S/S+ now and then happens to everyone - that said, I dont really think the current system reflects the term "mastery" accurately anyway.

ARURF is fine - the forced Summoners and limited pool of champs is garbage tho. Also not allowing some masteries (LETHAL TEMPO BOIZ!) URF would just mean the same champs every game (you pretty much saw Fizz, Sona, Eve, Heca, Old Urgot, Shaco every game). To change that, URF would need specific balancing, whitch would destroy they purpose of URF itself (PURE CHAOS). I mean....Sona isnt even enabled in Snow ARURF despite the fact her having a Christmas-Skin.

Idk - even with MS-Rewards, the System still lacks a good feeling to it. I feel so slowed down when it comes to rewards. I didn't even upgrade my Masteries bc of the increased cost. Rewards got a massive downgrade with the overhaul of the system (Hextech included).

Uhm, I don't want to touch your studies, but did you ever talk about hype and peer-pressure, or "The fear of missin out"? Seeing something that is "trending" kind of creates an artifical need for at least some people. Also, a lot of customers dont buy skins for their favorite champs only - rather: "Hey, that skin looks amazing - I want it" or "Everybody got it, so I can't be the one not to have it" OR "I want everything" At least one of these 3 will hit most of the paying players once for sure. Imo, their strategic placement of what is shown in the shop is pretty damn good for people who can't hold their money :'D

5 levels are quiet a bit of playing - i almost have no friends who got past 33 so far. Also: RNG is a %%%%%. You might be lucky and get 5 good shards, or like me, get 3 shards, 2 with ultra low and one decent.

50 BE/Day is NOTHING. Thats not even CLOSE to a proper adjustment for someone who does about a level per day. Thats like...."oh i got 750BE now thanks to the daily reward!" It's a total pain in the ass to grind for BE now. Just getting that stupid Morgana-Icon makes me want to kill someone....stupid %%%%ing RNG and NO way to reliably farm in time.

It's one of these memorable "World of Ghostcrawler"-Moments for me.... The patch is changing SO much. It almost feels like a totally different game to me. Even on tanks, I have the feeling I get melted by the amounts of damage that come in from time to time and assassins feel insanely broken to me. I used to ban whatever I didnt want to face as my direct opponent, but now its just an assassin-ban every game. The game is less fun. Games feel less rewarding. Level-Ups feel totally garbage and the plans to add "a little BE to the Fwotd-Mission" wont compensate for that (at least for people who tend to play more than 1-2 Games a day)...any game I play, before they hopefully change BE-Rewards, are lost ressources, because I highly doubt they will give BE to those who already leveld up and recieved bullshit for it... I can live with the runes beeing "broken" atm....I get, that these big changes need time to balance out, but the reward-system could easily be fixed within days.....probably even overnight...

Ghostcrawler at it again :^) Seriously, I am losing interest in the game more and more since the patch. It's COMPLETELY anti-fun to play with the new runes imo and not gaining any form of reward after a game is just %%%%ing stupid. There are days where I play 10+ Games and days where I play 1 or 2....these days SUCK BALLS now. No feeling of progression. Even less if i'm unlucky and only lose on these days. Riot should pull the plug on the new BE/Leveling system. Either fixed amounts for level-ups, or just reward us after games again (which i would prefer more than anything.)

Using the BE-Shop to bring it back, rewards players who invested a lot of Time and/or Money into League. I play since Season 2, I play a lot and bought quiet a few things by now (Skins and some Champ-Bundles on release bc of their release Skins). I was swimming in BE when the change came. I got all Champs since a long time now and didnt need to spend IP for any champ since the Champ-Shards were introduced. Now I had the chance to get something for all the time i invested into the game. I got a fairly rare skin for a buch of BE that i wouldnt need otherwhise anyway. > It feels like a big joke that only new players could possibly swallow it . Speaking of new players, they have all the runes from level 1, that's even more insulting for the ones that worked so hard to buy them and level up. For the Rune-Part: Damn, for now its a bloody mess. So many things seem so broken - good and bad, but the changes are new. People need to figure out whats best for which Champ and which situation etc. Also, Riot will definitetly change a lot in the coming patches. PBE numbers are too small to properly balance everything I guess. Thats why the changes came for pre-season. No harm to anyones Rank. Just enough time to figure out whats OP and whats garbage.

My big problem: Let's assume you play and win one game a day and make use of the daily mission. With that, yes, your gains per gane are pretty much the same/higher than before the change. But: I don't know many people who only play one game a day, or win every game they play, thus downgrading the level-up by a lot. There needs to be a fixed amount of BE per level-up and some BE inbetween the games. maybe even tie it to the honor-system! Or make veterans get exclusive missions that grant XP/BE. Even tho i got all champs, doesnt mean i dont need/want BE. The addition of the BE-Shop is great for people who play a lot and grind for BE.

Tell me how you only needed 10 ARAMs with 5 losses, when a win nets me about 150 XP. Even with fwotd this is not enough to get a level up in my book.

I got all Champs so far and REALLY looked forward to the BE-Shop. I bought URFwick and several other things, but there is still quiet a bit of stuff I want.... Ofc I wont be able to get everything this time around, but with the changes to earning the ressource needed, I cant see myself getting much BE until the next time the shop comes, if the system stays the same. That said: New Champs will be a pain to be farmed if you only play casually - or spend money, which I personally ONLY do if the champ AND release-skin are interesting to me. Also: Games feel unrewarding. In any game, XP are usually a by-product to progress in some kind of way. You usually get Gold and/or Items if you get XP from something timeconsuming (which a game of league IS). I'l probably lose interest in the game pretty quick, if there is nothing to do other than ranked. I want to be able to farm myself up to big numbers of BE again. I'm fine with having to do something for it, but not if it's THAT much out of proportion compared to pre-changes.

The new System feels completely unrewarding. EXP usually is a byproduct, not a reward, thus making every game feel less rewarding. Only every so often, you get the feeling of getting at least something - and i really hope that higher level means higher rewards... I want to be able to grind BE like I was able to grind IP, not be forced to play several games to just be able to get something. Also, EXP seem to be completely unbalanced. ARAMs give you ~100-150. In the same time, normals give you 200-250. (in the same TIME!) I dont want to be forced into just playing SR to get my levels. I want to have an even chance of leveling across the board, depending on how my mood is, i tend to play ARAM for a week straight....

Playing games feels completly unrewarding. Having to level up to gain any form of reward feels excessevly slow. EXP is not a Reward it's a by-product. I want a way to grind my BE like I was able to grind for IP. It's terrible to be so close to something you want, but need to play 10-15+ games to get your next BE burst. (I got 100-150 XP from a win...)

The problem with Onslaught is, that its not like any other Bullethell-Game. Invasion is pure RNG. RNG is not fun, it's frustrating. I can dodge all I want, bc i get CC-Locked when dodging other stuff anyway and get killed after that.

Well - we had teambuilder. While missing out the bans as far as i remember, you were able to choose your role and even champion. Also, Teambuilder rewarded people for playing certain roles at certain times. So yeah...we didnt have role-selection as we do today, but we had a similar system that didnt FORCE us into a role we didnt want to play

I am not a fun of auto fill but i think that the solution for this is not to remove it but instead to give something that will attract players to play these roles.
I'd rather disable Blind-Pick. Blind-Pick usually is a mess when it comes to role-selection. There used to be so many trolls and a-holes. Also, not beeing able to ban champions makes games pretty stupid - like in...Yasuo (or fotm-champions) in almost every game.

: Autofill came with the release of SoloQ, since we already had FlexQ live, that makes for 2 ranked queues for a total of 4 queues instead of 3. Autofill is necessary. Also, you don't get autofilled every time autofill is activated, even if you're protected, and you only have to learn 1 role, what's the big problem here.
It's not like we didn't have 4 Queues already, back in S5 with Team-Ranked instead of flex-bullshit.

There is a massive difference when you are used to roles that can go all in and then all of a sudden you need to pick a squishy champion where positioning is entirely different. It IS the same game, but its not the same playstyle. And its not like Autofill equals Autofeed everytime - but not beeing able to contribute to the team properly is frustrating and not fun at all - neither me or the team. No matter how many kills I get - that's not what contribution is all about.

Well, it SHOULD at least let you get a feel for that champ. That's why the skill-tokens are perfectly fine for 6/7. Adding other stuff is just garbage

yet, why would I want to invest something that could give me a reward instead? Champion Mastery is NOT a reward - 6 & 7 require you to play S- and S at least, meaning this system is SKILL related. Adding the need of stuff that should be a reward for doing well in general (and grinding for keyfragments....) or spending money on is just stupid. I'd rather get rid of championshards entirely and make it possible to get champions from rolling skinshards instead for those who do not own all of them yet.

As someone who owns every single champ and is decked out in IP for so much additional stuff, I can tall you this is bullshit. This is NOT a proper reward for hextech-crafting when owning all champs. I want a reward for doing well or buying stuff - not waste it on something that should be purely skill-related, rather than anything else.

This is more about people who already own EVERY. SINGLE. CHAMPION. I don't need champion shards. I want something I can make use of when opening a hard earned chest (key-whise its a pain.) or something I spent money on. If I get a skinshard for a skin i already own I'll just reroll it at some point or get me some orange essence to get another skin, while champshards are nothing but garbage for me. I've spent so much time in this game and spent some money on some fresh releases because of some releaseskins I liked, so why is all I get now some "mastery". Something that has NOTHING to do with hextech-crafting imo.
