: You're not getting my point. You can build Crit Yi with tank items, too. IE + Bloodrazor/BoTRK + Phantom Dancer is core. After that you can build him tank (Dead Man's, Black Cleaver, Randuin's, Frozen Mallet, etc.) Point is, they need to have the same damage output and the same defense/survivability in order to determine which build is better, damage for damage.
not really, then it is not crit, it would be on-hit and crit at same time.

: This video is not objective at all. The builds of both Yi's are totally different and the only reason that On-Hit Yi won those 1v1s was because he built tank (Randuin's, Black Cleaver and Dead Man's). if you want to have a fair match-up, both Yi's should have similar builds (either full tank with just runes, or full AD + runes but NO tank items). Although I am guessing you already tried that and Crit Yi curb stomped the On-Hit Yi. Like previously stated, in my opinion, the only reason On-Hit Yi won as many rounds as he did was because he had 1k+ HP advantage. I do believe that Crit Yi will overwhelm any squishy On-Hit Yi with ease simply because 1 crit in full crit build will melt 30-40% of the oponent's HP.
Btw on-hit yi had always some tank items

Crit has IE (Randium: 20% reduce, Ie: 50% bonus; 50 - 20 = 30%) and he has BT a lot of lifesteal, he has also lord dominik, bonus dmg per 100 hp, so

: wait what? That's my first ban. By far I only got 2 warnings in my entire history EDIT: and last warning was last season.
: This was my first ranked season ever, and it was quite eventful to say the least. Is started actively playing League last year on November first (almost my 1 year anniversary, go me :3). I wanted to hold off on SoloQ until I felt ready, until I had a decent champion pool. Then, somewhere in February, my friend, who (rightfully) were sick of playing normals, suggested we play FlexQ, the newly added Queue, because it didn't really matter anyway (it does, but at the time I wasn't aware yet). We played the first five placements, I was still a toplaner at the time, and surprise surprise, we lost all five. When I look back at those five games, I legit feel like I was trolling, I feel sorry for my teammates for being such a godawful player. So, being 0-5 in placements, I just decided to man up and finish them, it couldn't get any worse, could it? Turns out it could, sixth game, I go into a game, halfway, my mother forces me to come downstairs and I thus am forced into being AFK for half a game, and there it was 0-6. Then, I got the miraculous idea to swap my trusty Nasus, with whom I lost all 5 ranked games I played, for Tryndamere, and I was able to squeeze out 3 wins, going 3-7 in placements, scoring me a dreadful B3. That was that, I was Bronze, and I really deserved it after those awful placements. I continued top for a little while, which brought me to the verge of demoting to Bronze 4. At that point, I was done with ranked for a little while. Then, some time later, I started enjoying mid more than I enjoyed top, so I gradually switched to mid. This was a blessing in disguise. After a small 100-or-so mid games and lot of Youtube videos, I felt I was up to the task to play ranked again, duo with my mate and carrying my ever-expanding game knowledge with me. We went on a winning streak, I got to B3 70 LP instead of B3 0 LP one game off demoting. My friend grinded a little more and he got himself into gold in all Queues possible, making it impossible for me to duo with him any further. It was up to me to climb my butt out of the feared ELO-hell that is bronze. I expanded my pool slightly and I played some games and it went rather well, I got into promos, won them despite having a troll in one game, and I was B2. Progress. Yay. Small, but still very significant to me, and more importantly very significant to my MMR. Went on playing my pocket pick {{champion:63}} instead of my main ever since I picked up mid, {{champion:90}} . I legitimately got through B2 in 4 games with Brand, at that point gaining 27 LP per game. I got into promos, won them 2-1, again having an actual inting player in one of those games. B1, getting closer to the goal that I set at the beginning of S7, which was not ending in Bronze. The next day, I started grinding some more League. I was on my summer break, I was stoked because I was getting close to silver, already having rather high MMR, losing 13 LP where a win netted me a good 27. I went into a game as Brand, facing Orianna and if you know anything about the matchup, you might understand why I got so tilted. I started spamming all-chat with toxicity and that was a mistake. After that game, a very imminent loss, I received a not-so-surprising 14-day suspension, my first punishment, and very likely also my last. It sucked that I had the suspension during my summer break, reducing my time to grind ranked enormously, but I knew I deserved it and I took that time to reform myself. And it worked :3, thankfully. After My suspension got lifted, I came back a stronger man, but also a man that hadn't practiced his mechanics for his champions for two weeks straight, so I decided to play some more normals to practice my mechs again. It felt like I got everything thrown at me at once; me sucking, trolls, toxic players, Ping-spikes, DC-ing teammates, everything. It was the perfect environment for me to test my mentals, actually, to refrain from flaming and tilting. The first went rather well, the latter a little less. I was still tilt heavy. I figured that players in Ranked would simply not play with poor connections and that they would tryhard/not feed as much. Mistake. I wen't back into ranked only to see the same thing happen. Kill trading, inting, the whole 9 yards. Lots of games were lost, wins were tough to get and every time I lost a game, I tilted off the face off the earth and stopped playing ranked for the rest of the day. This gradually increased my tilt-proof-ness, and I slowly became tougher in terms of mentality, but still, wins were quite rare and had to be earned by giving your best, and if you lost after 50 minutes of giving your best, simply seeing it all thrown out the window by an adc that runs into a 5 man squad that's clearly in vision, I really got depressed. My progress was slow, my win rate was becoming negative, the only thing keeping me from demoting being my high MMR of around silver 3, which still earned me 26 per win and lost me 14 per loss, steadily keeping me around 70/80LP B1. I took a break. I lost the drive to play league, I lost the love, I lost the game a bit. I still played a game every so now and then, played some Brand, some Mordekaiser and some Malzahar, who got an increbile half-rework/crazy buff and thus became monstrously strong, especially in the hands of an experienced player. The sad thing was that the change to his kit removed a lot of his mechanics that distinguished a good, carrying, fed Malzahar player from a poor, inting one, he became rather braindead, if there's any such thing in league. The art of playing Malzahar was always more in the positioning/planning anyway I guess, but I couldn't possibly complain; my main, my best pick got an incredible buff, making him from a weaker, risky champ to a monstrosity of pressure, a solo play powerhouse. At some point I resumed my ranked games just for the hell of it, just to not be called a Bronze player anymore (I hated that, my MMR was around Silver 2-3), making it into my S5 promos on a with 2 consecutive wins (I hadn't had that since my suspension in June, it was september by then). I played mostly Mordekaiser, winning me one and losing me two games, making me 1-2, one loss away from losing promos to the promised land of still-bad-but-at-least-it's-not-bronze out of my miserable Bronze 1 in which I had been stuck for months now, in a never ending loop of 2 losses and 1 win, keeping me right in the same division while I performed rather well in all those games (good warding, good kill participation, good pressure, good roams, good objective control, good CS, all of it). I whipped out my pocket pick powerhouse Malzahar for the deciding game of my promos, but I got into a gam in which Top, jungle AND Bot went between 0/2 and 0/5 in the first 15 mins. I didn't play the top of my game, but how could I with an enemy team fed to those proportions. I lost the promos. I felt it all amounted to nothing, it was hopeless. I got straight-out ranked anxiety. I took another break. I started playing ADC to improve at my worst off-role, just to work on my tilt-resilience some more, for if I were to perform poorly, I would be able to understand all those ADC's from my lost ranked games as well. It helped. It put the final piece of my mentality in place, making me into the full-fledged tilt-proof sportsmanlike player I'd like to think I am today. In the weekend, I thought to myself; ''You know what? Let's put that mentality to the test! I feel I can kick some butt in ranked. I feel I have the skills and game knowledge to play some solid mid like no silver has ever played before! (I was still B1, but my MMR was around S2-3, I hadn't seen a bronze player in my ranked game in ages.) I went into ranked, got autofilled to support the first game I played. No problem! after paying ADC for a whole week, I felt I knew exactly what an ADC would need, I picked my best support, {{champion:223}} , and I popped off together with my ADC in a great team effort. Great positive game, loved it. The ranked anxiety had vanished for the most part. I was at 94 LP at that point, I picked my trusty boi Malz, and scored a decisive victory, right into a second try for S5 Promos. I went on with the Malzahar pick, simply because he was strong, and especially strong in my hands, I felt. I had a free win in promos, which was great. I lost the first game of promos, but it didn't get my spirits down at all, not anymore. Where I previously would have stopped to prevent tilt, I played on with the same enthusiasm I had before the loss. The next game was a stomp. One more to go. That game, too, was a stomp. BOOM! Silver. My initial goal had been reached, I had overcome a period of toxicity, tilt and ranked anxiety and it felt SOO DAAAMN GOOD! I played one more game after winning promos, just to make sure I had a buffer of LP before demoting back to B1, putting me at S5 27 LP I decided to keep playing the next morning. The Malzahar felt so unstoppable. I won another one, one more and one more. I was at 83 LP, on a 6 game hot streak, still with high MMR. From what my friend had told me, from his personal experience (he had skipped G4 and G2 that way), if you went on a hot streak with high MMR, you skipped an entire division. I queued up for the last game, and I felt good. I felt unstoppable. My top and jungle that game went 5/9 and 1/8 respectively, giving so much gold over to the enemy team, that they simply had too much pressure to cope and they took objective after objective slowly driving us back to our nexus turrets and beating us, we lost the game. Unfortunate, I could have gotten from S5 to S3, which would have given me a lot of motivation to push for gold in that last month, and I believe I could have made it if I had skipped an entire division. The next day I played another game (which I lost), but I just felt satisfied. I felt I had come a long goddamn way. With the thought in mind that I reached my initial (rather low) goal, I just felt it was good enough. No need to stress and strain myself anymore. I had come along way, I had gone from the guy who screwed up his promos, being a very poor player with a tendency to tilt and flame, to a player who could carry and go on a win streak
