: I agree that it's a team game but the thing is that most of the times, you dont get teammates but individuals... and yes, even in Diamond 3, shit like that still happens which is really damn disappointing.
And I didnt mean that the game should take only certain stats in mind when deciding who to lose less LP. For example, the game is at 18 min., toplaner being 4/1/2 with 150 cs, mid 1/1/0 with 127 cs, jungle 0/1/5 with 100 cs, supp 1/1/4 and then the ADC 0/4/0 awith 70 cs and disconnecting over and over and everyone is like 3 levels above him > all of that would mean that if the team loses, it was basically a 4v5 game in which the ADC did nothing but dying and disconnecting and so he should be the one who loses 20 LP. The rest of the team could lose smthg like 15-16. That way, everyone would have to try and do their best instead of going inting and making the whole team lose the same amount of LP as that certain player.

: No. The system you're proposing will kill teamplay, and when the game is looking bad people would focus on CSing rather than trying to make teamplay to try and comeback. _Also_ it's plain unfair to supports _Also_ LoL is a team game. People who goes 10-0 in lane and then solo push the rest of the game are worse than someone who goes 0-4 but actually teamworks.

: This is not possible though because it would fight against the system. The LP you see is only a decoration that actually means nothing. The MMR that you can't see is the only thing that matters and the amount of LP gained and lost is related to your MMR. You will gain a lot of LP if your MMR is high compared to what it should be in your division so that you would reach the division you "deserve" faster. This works to the opposite way as well. With your suggestion, it would be possible for people with silver mmr to be in platinum. This would mean that they play against silver players while their profile is deceiving others and them into believing that they are platinum.
I do agree, but the thing is that for some reason, for a win I get like 16-17 LP and for a loss I lose 19-20 even though my MMR is a bit higher than normal. So basically to make it up for that 1 loss, I have to win 2 games. Here, I'm talking about MMR but just the amount of LP that you lose. It's really frustrating to climb when you know that you can win 1 or 2 games but then comes this asshole who ruins everything for your team and you basically lose 70% of the points you gained from the past 2 games.
