: You can reset router to defaults. But depending on ISP you may need to input IP adress dns servers manually. Just call them to ask. Or maybe you can check underside of router for ip/password Do you have just a router plugged to wall or router-modem/access point setting? I have router plugged to access point since it is fiber, so i can mess around with router settings without worries and just get DHCP in access point to set me up
lol i just try some random stuff and i successfully logged in to my router settings..Now i need help pls, because i don't want to make mistakes again..This is how it looks my router settings http://i.imgur.com/dfL9D3m.png (my router is ZXHN H108L) [ISP: BH Telekom (Bosnia)] So what do i need to do exactly ? Thank you. And yea, i found QoS here: http://i.imgur.com/nrRodmi.png
: Like **IHaveABigCIock ** said look for QoS (Quality of Service) tab in router settings, sometimes called Bandwidth Control or Allocation. Check YOUR pc MAC adress or IP if you have set is static. I have 100/100 connection shared with family so i set minimal bandwidth for my PC to 10/10 mbps. Only helps if your router is choke point. If your ISP is piece of crap that sells people more bandwidth than they themself have (they own 50gbps but have clients with sum of 70) you will stil have drops in speed and high latency
The thing is, i don't have access to my router settings since i fu*ked up smth and my isp change the password for router settings.. So is there another way without accessing router settings ?
